Had such high hopes for this place. Stayed for a long weekend for a wedding and my room had expensive bracelets stolen. The doors don't automatically shut like Most hotel rooms and if you don't go back to manually close door to ensure it locks anyone could
Walk into your room. Cleaning supplies were left by my coffee pot and no one took away our room service tray for two days. I would not recommend this place at all. If you want good service and don't want items from your suitcase slowly go elsewhere!!!!!!

Location, location, location. It felt safe and it was a little ways from main road with a gated entrance. there is golf to play there and there is water right there so you dont even have to make the trek to ocean city, md...just Easton, md. haha. golf carts are all around so be careful crossing any street or path. Parking is phenomenal and the fountains on are a nice touch!

A beautiful hotel with big, clean rooms and all the amenities you'd associate with Hyatt. Any less than stellar feedback is more to do with the limited tourism and dining options in the area, but that's not a reflection on the resort itself. We had a nice time, just had to understand that it would be a mellow weekend.

My family and I keep coming back to this place. My boys were here last in 2013, they were 1 and 5 yrs old, 11 and 6 this time. They liked it then but it's even better now. Weather wasn't on our side this year but we still managed a great time, thanks to indoor pool. If we had gone to the beach, like we usually do, we'd have been bored. At Hyatt we went down water slides, played indoor and outdoor pool, played tennis and mini golf, basketball in the pool, and even watched movies in the indoor pool every night. Management seems to have improved since our first year (in 2010!), no more long waits for renting equipment, food is far better than before, they now have pizza and fries (and"real" chicken fingers, as my kids would say). It's like being at the beach without the sand and sunburn.

Beautiful Property with wonderful views. Fairly clean rooms. Lots of things to do like volleyball, golf, mini golf, bike rentals, boat rentals, jet skis, water skiing, kayaking and tubing. The water is calm which is great for boating and kayaking. Walk down the pier at sunset for the best view!

Beautiful view from property, good restaurant. Pools nice. Snack bar very disorganized and limited. Bay filled with jellyfish, afraid to do water activities. Small mini golf, good for kids. No housekeeping and no breakfast due to covid. They should have provided a to go breakfast

This hotel is insanely beautiful, right on the Choptank River. The staff is phenomenal, greeting you happily at the door and engaging you in conversation wherever you may run into someone. Parking is a little wonky, quite the walk from the lobby or room. Beds are either doubles or kings. It's been a really long time since my husband and I slept on a double, took some situating. The grounds are gorgeous, and having multiple choice pools is a bonus, with the water slide being some wicked shine on the weekend.

The hotel was very nice, but certain things could have been better. For example, the pool was a bit dirty and in need of a good cleaning, and the service at the restaurants was extremely slow. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Foods in resort restaurant were very satisfied, and rooms were quite good. However, my concern while staying there was no social distancing, especially in pool area. Should limit the number of pool users.

I must say the room we had was nice. We had a great view. This place needs to work on all the extra fees it charges for the rooms. If the Hyatt company is allowing other booking companys book rooms they need also in writing clearly show the extra fees. In no other hotel or resort that I have stayed in was there an extra charge for room cleaning and amenities. We stayed 3 days used no amenities and never did a cleaning lady come to our room. We were still charged an extra $26 each night for amenities and room cleaning.

Awesome place! We went here for a mini-vacation and were not disappointed. Great rooms, food, staff, and views. We went during an off time and it was great value for the awesome suite we got. Whether you're getting married or going on a family vacation this spot is great! Mini-golf, pool, rec room and gym are some of the many on site amenities. We will definitely be coming back again!

I have been coming here as a child, and now as an adult. The pools are amazing the bar is nice, although overpriced but still an extremely nice place to go to. Extremely family friendly
And they have a pool which you can swim from outside to inside

Always a fantastic getaway!! Thursday and Friday were peacefully awesome. By Sat it became more family/kid oriented - no longer the ambience of romance, and lots more noise/commotion, hotel staff and amenities still individually focused

Fantasic resort! So many activities for kids and parents, alike. We stayed in the marina so I can't speak to the hotel side of the resort, but the food was great, the service was great and we all had a great time!

Stayed for 2 nights to ride out a snow storm while staying close to work. The location was good and the gentleman working the front desk was very accommodating.
Issues: many.
1). It s not very clean. The first room had hair on the counters, the gave me a second room, waived the upgrade fee-very nice. Except the carpet was dirty, there was hair all over the tub. I broke out my own disinfecting wipes and cleaned up. I walked down to the fitness center and there were cookies and candy wrappers all over the floor in the hallway. If you look over the bannister to the 1st level, the ledges are covered with dirt and dust.
2) The bed is comfy but the duvet is really 2 flat sheets wrapped over a comforter. I kept getting tangled in the sheets.
3) No microwave in the room, no room service because of COVID (which makes the poor cleaning even more concerning) and only one microwave on the 2nd floor for the whole resort. Most resort options not available, but they are still charging a daily resort fee.
4) Weird wiring. I had a suite, the ceiling fan is in the bedroom area, the switch for it is by the entrance.
Overall, this was suitable for a short crash before and after work, but I could not see staying here for a vacation or getaway.

I loved the resort. It is a huge area and I love how there is a Walmart and gas station RIGHT outside of the property. From what I could tell, there was a good amount of parking on the area. You feel almost like you are the only person in the resort until you go into the lobby which is an open-floor concept with a beautiful view. It does NOT feel like you are still in Maryland. I went with my church group for a conference and would go again as many times as I could just for the atmosphere.

They catered the event and the food was delicious with some variety.

The only thing I have about the hotel that I was iffy about was about a couple of questionable stains on my comforter in the bed. Also, when in the hall that the conference was held, the silverware/napkins had a few stains on them as well. Other than that, the staff was very efficient and some of the most exciting and personable people I've interacted with.

What's really good about this place are the amenities. It has a sprawling golf course that spans the resort. Three restaurants and a bistro near the pool area. The infinity pool is very nice and spacious with an adult side as well as a kid's side then not too far from the infinity pool or water activities where you can go to kayak jet ski or do catamarans or paddle boating depending on your preference of course. And the bedding is soft and luxurious. The reason why I didn't give this place five stars is because sometimes the service is a little bit slower than what I would anticipate for a 4-star hotel but the staff are very friendly and are helpful. Overall I would add that this is a family-friendly place and your kids would enjoy coming here. I wouldn't recommend this for adults trying to do a getaway unless you would enjoy the noise of events, kids and the other activities that are happening in and around the resort.

Fantastic staff, friendly and accommodating. We were very well taken care of even tho they're we're multiple weddings that weekend. Our anniversary stay was just perfect.

Highly recommend Blue Point Provision restaurant if you are staying at the resort. It is located on the tail end of the resort next to the marina, beautiful location and delicious food!

Stayed here over the weekend. This is a very nice hotel and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The resort and the view of the water from our room was beautiful. I only have two reasons as to why i left one star off of this review. The first reason is i saw at least 2 spiders while sitting in my bed and the second reason is because the room didnt have a microwave.

Its a beautiful place. Unfortunately the hotel was fully book and I was stuck in room that must had someone who was smoking in it previous to my stay. The staff tried to clean it but the odor remained.

Beautiful resort with lovely staff. Truly embraces the beauty of Chesapeake Bay. Great view of the water both day and night. Quarter Deck restaurant at the marina has wonderful food and cocktails.

Stayed at Hyatt River Marsh marina. As traveling boaters, we rely on and expect clean, usable bath and shower facilities. They were absolutely filthy here, which we reported to the dock master. At the Hyatt pool near the hot tub, I asked that the over flowing, smelly trash can be emptied. In my two hours there, no one ever arrived to empty it.
Definitely not up to Hyatt standards this year.
