I have never been to Brooklyn before, booked on a whim that it was near a concert. VERY PLEASE. The staff was extremely pleasent/helpful/nice. Had a great view of the city. Clean room. Close walking distance to subway and many places to eat. Breakfast is complimentary and delivered to your door. They had free parking! Great experience. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is convenient both to subways, museum, Botanical Garden and the best restaurants! The staff both at the desk and the concierge were excellent - helpful in directions, suggestions, and even restoring the television reception. The view of the city skyline is spectacular from the balcony.

Initially when I came I thought to myself the front of here looks dreary but I won t complain. The front desk ladies seemed to be nice and accommodating. But then I got to the room and the balconies are all connected. Needless to say I was between two very loud rooms. And if that wasn t bad, I woke up to welps on my body. I turned the light on and discovered two bed bugs! I am entirely disgusted!!!! I would never come back here. This was the worst experience, I wish I could give negative stars.

the hotel is okay! But we booked by the website of HOTELSONE, and the put a extra tax of 123,89 dollar extra for just one night!. the hotel said we should check ith hotelsone and hotelsone said we shoudl check with the hotel. We paid 289 dollar for a room for one night.

I certainly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Le Bleu. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised.

LOCATION: The hotel is on a busy commercial route so don't expect anything fancy. There's a Whole Foods nearby where you can grab something healthy and tasty to eat. If that doesn't interest you, you have plenty of nearby delivery options (more dining option when we're not in a health crisis). Shopping and public transportation are all in walking distance.

ROOM: The rooms are modern with really nice fixtures. Great sizes for NYC hotels. Everything seemed cleaned and well taken care of. One of the few hotels with a reasonable price for a room with a terrace!! Good water pressure and water can get really hot!! Large screen TV. My only complaint about the room was the lack of access to Netflix/Hulu/Prime or screen sharing. This would have been ideal.

STAFF: The only criticism that I can offer is that the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and in no way do I think it's solely their fault as we are in a global pandemic and my stay happened during the first snow storm of the year; so I'm sure these factors played a role in certain things like not being able to get in touch with the front desk for a while (when I was checking in the rep also took 4 phone calls) or there being only one full size towel in a room meant for at least two guest.

OVERALL: You can expect a pleasant stay.

Loved, loved, our stay! The rooms were really nice. Sabrina was the best! She was knowledgeable about the about area and had superb customer service. She made you feel like you've been coming there for years!

The room need to be cleaned. There was hair in the bed sheets, the floor need to be sweep and mopped. The hallway carpet need to be cleaned. Thank God I carry my own cleaning supplies to hotels. They stressed about no smoking but what about disinfectanting the place..

The staff are extremely awesome the stay was comfy obviously the parking fills up quick and the only two things I didn t like was one the hotel door doesnt have a peep hole so you cant see who is there and two since i had a room without a balcony I didn t like that the windows dont open the good news is that most of the rooms comes with a balcony overall the hotel is amazing definitely one of the best ive ever been to

We walked in, asked for and to see a room, were impressed, signed up for it at the best price I'd seen on the internet less another 15% AARP discount, used the free parking and continental breakfast, and very much enjoyed the room. Interestingly different and useful room layout, very handsome modern furniture and facilities, blue theme throughout, quiet. Very helpful and courteous staff. Close (1 block) from great Brooklyn restaurants and our family. Much better than crowding in with them. What could be better?

When they say 3:00 p.m. check and they mean it. But that's OK. Check in was easy. Our room was very clean, bright and modern. I also loved our boxed breakfast. Nice touch since there is no restaurant or lobby. I would have given 5 stars but the people who work there were not very friendly. I would definitely stay there again because of location and cleanliness.

DO NOT STAY HERE. 1 star because we got a refund.

DO NOT STAY HERE. 1 star because we got a refund.

This was in December 2020. We arrived at the hotel, checked in, went to the room, and immediately checked out. What was wrong? Essentially everything -- the lobby is poorly lit and the entire hotel has a run-down vibe. When we got to our room, half of the light switches didn't work, the room reeked of cigarettes, and there were stains on the bed. Along with this, it's a party hotel -- they claim a $250 fine for smoking in the rooms... but the hotel already has an inherent cigarette smell, so this clearly isn't enforced. Also, the views are of a UHaul parking lot, so disregard any other claims this hotel makes.

On top of this, the employees are not helpful at all -- I'd classify them as useless. After 5 minutes of being in our disastrous room, we went to the front desk to ask for a refund, but were told they couldn't do that for us and we would have to speak with the manager... except the manager wasn't there and I was told I had to email the manager -- there wasn't even a phone number to call. Awful service and extremely misleading. Not one employee took any responsibility and they all pushed the blame to someone else and said they couldn't help without manager approval. In any other hotel, they would've made an additional effort to fix the issues we had -- you won't get that here.

My suggestion for anyone reading this is to literally STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. You can tell management doesn't really care -- I was reading the reviews prior to writing this one and it's all the same, generic response, "thank you for your feedback and we hope to earn your business in the future." That's not going to cut it. Lackadaisical staff, virtually non-existent management, and no initiative to solve problems or improve their situation. We weren't expecting a Four Seasons experience, but I also wasn't expecting to be so disgusted that I was in and out of the hotel within 20 minutes -- STAY AWAY!

The room was pretty clean except for a few hairs here and there. the breakfast was decent, however some of the items you checked off on the menu that they delivered the next day we're not the same as what were listed on the menu. the manager was very nice and ordered us a taxi for the wedding we were attending. The parking lot only has about 15 or so spaces. parking is free but first come first serve. We were lucky and there were not many people in the parking lot when we got there, but the parking lot was full the rest of the time we were there.

We stayed at Hotel Le Bleu on January 18-20, 2013. We had friends and an event in the vicinity, and the reviews were good enough that we decided to go. The prices were a little alarmingly low, though - $130 a night for a room with a balcony view of Manhattan and a perfect shot of the Statue of Liberty?

The area is quite industrial - the hotel's neighbors on each side are a large Uhaul center, a dialysis clinic, and an ambulatory infusion center across the street. But the area is quiet, the amazing pie company Four and Twenty Blackbirds is two blocks away. Very bustling, lively, interesting retail/residential areas surround it. The amazing Prospect Park is a few streets away. We walked everywhere all weekend without incident.

All of our interactions with staff were friendly and pleasant. They were unfailingly helpful.

The hotel maintains good security for the floors with rooms. The room was clean and well-maintained. There was a bleach stain on the carpet by the door, but I didn't really care; everything else was very clean and well-maintained. The layout was tight, with very little privacy - the bathroom was in the bedroom, and the frosted glass toilet door and the curtain around the glass shower stall didn't offer that much privacy. No problem for a married couple, but it would be awkward to share with a coworker, for sure. The desk area was nice and comfortable. The paper-thin walls were certainly true for us - we could hear a phone conversation through the wall with alarming clarity, so don't conduct confidential business there either. On the other hand, I suspect watching TV is likely to annoy your neighbor, if you have one.

They provided a complimentary welcome basket and a well-stocked snack selection and minibar. We had almonds and a Brooklyn Oktoberfest (ok, a bit out of season) beer the first night, and were UNDERcharged for both. The complimentary breakfast included good croissants and muffins and a decent, perfectly toasted bagel. They were a bit stingy with coffee fixings, though, and didn't honor our request for more sugar and cream, but given the room price I couldn't really complain. We saved the second day's goodies for when we got home, and they held up quite well. No idea about the rooftop restaurant, but there seems to be one.

We didn't park, but parking seems quite tight. I'm not sure how convenient the subway is, because we never got on nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back if we are in the area.

I gave it five stars because of the combination great location, service and overall design and cleanliness of the rooms. I love the 'quietness" of Brooklyn as it is a nice respite if you are in Manhattan for the day. There are countless restaurants within walking distance that offer a variety of ethnic food. I have stayed here several times since I discovered it in 2012. A special shout out to both Sabrina and Desiree. Both were helpful, cheerful and helped to enhance the quality of my stay when I was there in February.

My experience at Hotel Le Bleu was A+++. Beautifully designed, contemporary rooms with balcony overlooking Manhattan, friendly and prompt service, continental breakfast delivered to my door. Without question, I will return to Hotel Le Bleu.

The staff members were nice, but the actual hotel room was pretty gross. There were holes in the curtains, stains on the carpet, and mold in the shower. I wouldn t recommend staying here.

Sheets and one pillow were stained and hairs were in a few places. Second set of sheets dropped off without blanket or comforter & remnants of insect body parts on one sheet. Safe in room broken & curtain sheers shredded in places. Sink drain was slow. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel Le Bleu is situated nicely with whole foods within a 5 minute walk one way and restaurants and bars very nearby. Bell service and reception are polite, jovial and full of charisma. The room is spacious, ours had a very nice glass walled walk-in shower that could easily fit a family in [space for two adults and one, maybe 2 young children], adjoining bathroom isnt very discrete, but that shouldn't stop you. There's plenty of storage space, huuuuuugggeeeeee TV on the wall, too many inches, haha! Desk space, chair. Minibar. All the usual commodities you'd expect with a decent hotel. The whole hotel is themed around it's name with blue lighting in the lifts and lobby. I would say the whole place feels modern and special.

Great location, beautiful modern hotel (what s done as far as the renovations). Definitely not kid friendly, beds were somewhat small and the bathroom had see-through sliding doors. The balcony was a nice touch. Parking is limited, which again stinks if you have children or weather conflicts. Also, no place to fill up your own water. Overall nice hotel, but would only stay again if I didn t have my children or a car to park there.

I loved the free parking. Everyone I met during my two day stay was very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the, 'Fresh Start' breakfast in the morning. Bed was super comfy as well. If I ever come back to Brooklyn I will stay again!

Worst place ever read the fine print I got charged 250 for smoking on a balcony. The location is garbage it's in the middle of no where and the view is a bunch of uhaul trucks. Do not come here. The lobby staff was asking us if we were having a party and if we were could they come and hang out.....who does that? This place is not what it seems..... pass and if you check in late forget about parking.

Rooms were nice and service responsive. We had an issue with a broken heater, and the maintenance staff was up within a half hour to investigate. When it was determined that they couldn't fix it, we were moved to a new room and all was well.

Hotel Le Bleu was a wonderful experience. Great service and location to subway. Great restaurants are nearby. Staff provides excellent service. They are very helpful and go up and above the norm you find at most locations.

Have never been so uncomfortable. The free parking they promised simply did not exist. The concierge could not care less. The lobby is awful. There were parties on the top floors balconies, no masks. The room stunk of marijuana, we did not have any shut- eye. There were two of us, with just one set of towels and pillows. Nothing provided, not even a plastic cup. Got so depressed that did not even use the shower. Never again!

Very good and kind staff. Nice rooms. Good location. The only issue is the bathroom doors are so heavy and cumbersome to slide open. It s a real issue when your staying with elderly or children. My mother didn t want to stay here again because she literally hurt her back trying to slide the bathroom doors open and shut. They need to make there doors slide open easier.

A convenient option if you are looking to stay in ...

A convenient option if you are looking to stay in the Gowanus and/or the Park Slope neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Four blocks away from the F, G and R lines and the 4 Ave subway station; and two blocks away from a basic convenience store. Dining options around and the neighborhood seems quite safe to walk around at night as we did.

The lady at the front desk was courteous given the hour - well past midnight - that we checked in. Through our stay the staff were pleasant and helpful (Pamela at the front desk, the other two ladies there, the gentleman at the front door, etc.); be it directions that we sought, or laundry bags (there is a laundromat conveniently located two blocks away) and such.

Breakfast, if you do not mind cold continental (there is a coffee maker in the room), is quite all right; and delivered on time each morning (remember to fill out the card the previous night). Room is compact but has a decent layout, small balcony outside is a welcome touch (we left the door open while we were in, a door stopper would have been nice); however the layout of the rest room and the shower does not afford much privacy (and cost this review a star).

Check-in and check-out were easy, we did like the fresh fruit at the front desk and the daily newspapers available were a nice touch.

Thank you for a pleasant stay at your hotel.

Love the clean and spacious rooms, the rainfall shower, and the aesthetics with their beautiful accents of wood or colors! Great place to try out in Brooklyn. The outside is deceiving....but it can be a smidge ghetto. Overrall amazing!

Odd shower and sliding door setup for the toilet as the room was pretty tiny. It reminded me of a studio apartment in ways and if you're going with your partner it'll be fine but the shower glass is transparent so maybe not your business partner. Plus side the bed was extremely comfortable and it was very stylized except for the older apple docks. Good not great overall.

Very friendly service and nice rooms. Location was perfect for our purposes, the venue (Bell House) was less than 2 blocks away and plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. Will stay with them again!

The hotel rooms are very impressive at first glance. A beautiful glass shower, complimentary bottled water and snack, Bose sound system, robes and slippers, ect. However I was very disappointed in the quality of the room. The handle was broken on the door to the toilet, a light was out, the TV didn't work, and their was a very disgusting stain on the accent pillow on the bed. Also, breakfest consisted of a processed fruit cup and stale bagel. This hotel needs to get the basics down like cleanliness and good maintenance, instead of trying to appear high end.

This place is basic but ok. It s close to the Subway which made getting in and out of Manhattan a breeze. The reason for the 1 star rating is after our trip they charged our credit card for a mini bar expense which was not touched. When I contacted them about it they said a manager would get back to me. They never got back to me.

It is a shame that such a nice hotel and staff are ruined by a very poor and lousy management! I booked 5 rooms over 3 weeks for members of my company and one of them had to come back earlier than anticipated. Although it was promised to me and writtenly confirmed, the new GM refused to refund the room that what unoccupied (we are talking about 1,000$ when the total value of the stay was over 25,000$). Even worst, they tried to make me believe than the remaining 4 guests managed to occupy the fifth room! In addition to be disrespectful to my colleagues by accusing them of lying, it proves very bad business acumen and will definitely stop me from booking another stay at Hotel Le Bleu ever again.

Very courteous, professional, and helpful staff. Large rooms - very clean. A great location near shopping, restaurants, parks and close to public transportation. Parking right at the hotel is free to guests but limited spots. Also additional parking is close by. Highly recommend this Hotel.

The main good thing here is free parking which is difficult to get in hotels around NY. Good that they deliver breakfast at your door but very less options for breakfast. Make sure to read the pamphlet inside the room before you open their complimentary water bottles and chocolates kept inside (you are charged for it if you use it). Glass door bath and restroom may be good for couples or when staying alone but not when staying with family or group of people.
