Terrible experience at this hotel. They changed the rate without notice adding an additional $300 and downgrading the room. Their wonderful solution for their mistake, was that we switch rooms every single day during our six (6) day stay. Then on top of that, the person at the front desk was rude and trying to blame us for their mistake.
What a shame to receive such a poor service. We ended up at the Sheraton which was much nicer and the people were much nicer.

I recently stayed with my fiance in room 606. DO NOT STAY IN THIS ROOM! When we checked in at night the lobby had really strange black lighting and mirror elevator doors. The shower and bathroom set up was very odd with no door and shower curtains on the outside of a see through glass encased shower. Our blanket had all kinds of stains of different colors and sizes. The floor had white stains as well. When we asked for a replacement blanket we were told they only had the fuzzy kind. We asked to switch rooms on a Monday night when I'm pretty sure the room right next to us was open and were told they were fully booked. We were then given permission to take some snacks to make up for this nonsense and were charged for them. Parking lot fit less than 18 cars. Complimentary room delivered breakfast was pretty good and balcony view was nice. Tried to give 0 stars but I wasn't able to.

Hotel Le Bleu was a total surprise. A group of Red Hatters from all over Canada and the USA stayed at Le Bleu for three nights in October and could not speak higher of them. Due to an emergency, we had to ask the manager to access our room for insurance info and she very discreetly did and that night, knowing what we had been through, left a basket of fruit with a bottle of non alcoholic champagne in our room along with a beautiful swan for my niece who had to have medical attention. If this wasn't enough, they gave us all a box of chocolate when we checked out. Unfortunately there is no dining facilities or bar in the hotel but there are great restaurants the next block over (that even served this Floridian fresh squeezed orange juice). We had reservations about the open bathroom but there is a curtain over the shower and the glass surrounding the toilet is frosted.
Don't miss this gem for a great experience.

It's definitely a different looking hotel in terms of how the rooms look. The views of the city are not spectacular because it's only 8 floors high. Do not bring a car here there are less than 16 parking spots in the lot. There is no exercise facility & no water fountain/ice machine which I found highly annoying. If you want ice you have to ask the receptionist. It's not far from a train station, I didn't find the area too noisy. The bed was comfy.

One of the worst hotels I ve ever stayed at. First of all driving to the area it was a very inconvenient area. The parking lot in front only parks like 10 cars which were all taken so we had to park a block away. The check in lady was nice. The room did have a very modern look but had a weird smell to it. The view is cool but the balconies are all open and small Like 5x5 and next to each other. The window from the outside was disgustingly dirty, looks like months Without cleaning. The TV Volume can only go up to 23 which was weird and the controller had food stains and was sticky which was very unprofessional especially due to COVID. The bathroom and shower were nice. The bed had a spring stick my back so I was unable to sleep comfortably. Last but not least my wife and I both work remotely and the WiFi was worst than dial-up connection. Very disappointed. We deserve at least some kind of refund.

Booked a King NS room via Expedia. We check in and are told that only a room with two double beds are available and they are sold out and because we booked through a third party site they can only leave a note in the system to tell them what happened. Sounds like bait and switch to me.

Great rooms but the nighttime clerk I believe she was Russian lady is very rude I don't know if its here Eastern European attitude but she needs to learn how to speak to customers and I don't know is not an answer, hung up on me never greeted me I felt like an enemy in hostile territory if I don't back I ratherbnot deal with her and her shenanigans

I had wonderful experience at the hotel. I booked the hotel day of, and Lilly at the front desk was extremely helpful. Plus the price of the room was extremely reasonable considering how short of a trip it was into Manhattan. Everything was perfect for a quick overnight trip.

Very cute little hotel. The front desk receptionist was kind. They have a very nice spa type shower. The only complaints are that one of the pillows was dirty, but they changed it right away after calling. It gets very cold in the room, and we had some very noisy neighbors that didn't let us sleep. The matress is not the most comfortable. The coils kept running into my back, I had to move in order for them not to dig in. They have us complimentary breakfast , which was ok, but better than none. One of the few hotels in new York that has limited free parking spaces. Just make sure you get there early to secure a spot. I would come back to this hotel .

Upside: The rooms were nice, particularly the bathroom/shower. Had a nice rustic feel with a modern twist. Downside: Not unlimited parking, very few spaces available and are always taken. The breakfast was very disappointing. A cold croissant is the "highlight" of an otherwise inedible breakfast, which also included prepacked mandrin orange slices in syrup, Cheerios and milk, and either a banana or a soggy red apple, all room temperature. The comforter is thin and even with the heat full blast, I froze every night. The lovely Brooklyn view terrace (which cost extra) overlooked a charming uhaul trucking service. The bed was uncomfortable, it had bumps in it that hurt my back all night. Also, this place isn't cheap. Two nights set us back $420.

I had a great experience at Hotel Le Bleu. I was on the second floor, where the rooms had recently been renovated, and I must say - super impressed with the renovation. Beautiful showers with an optional rain feature and very large rooms with 50in+ televisions. The hotel is set back a bit from the street, so not noisy at all, even on the second floor. While the room was great, the experience was made even better by the friendly Desiree at check-in. I had cobbled together a few bookings, and she was more than willing to help coordinate the process so I wouldn't have to check in/out every day and could leave my stuff in the same (great) room. She was very customer-oriented and constantly offered to help with issues completely unrelated to the room. The hotel delivers breakfast to your room, and although the menu is a bit limited, knowing breakfast would be delivered was a great reason to stay in bed and relax a bit longer than usual. Thanks for the great experience Desiree and Hotel Le Bleu.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The all glass shower is a bit weird but functional. We especially appreciated the complimentary room service (I ordered a bagel and my husband ordered a croissant). There was some outside noise all night, but not unreasonable for its convenient location in the city.

Great views of the Gowanus and city with a peek at the UHaul lot below. Get over that last bit because this is a great place to grab delicious cocktails or grab a great steak at a reasonable price without getting all dolled up and heading into Manhattan.
If you hit the rooftop bar, get the buffalo wings and use the stairs to access the bathroom on the restaurant level.

Rooms as depicted. Great value and price. 1 majir problem, hdmi was missing from tv, so no tv for my stay. Was giving a small refund at check out, to try to help rectify the situation. It was appreciated.
Guest next to my room was arguing and fighting all morning, interrupting much needed sleep. Not tbe hotels fault. Would recommend and visit again, granted the tv works

The staff are wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, enthusiastic. They made our stay at the hotel completely pleasant -- holding a parking place for us, bringing up ice, providing breakfast, printing out directions when we left. Our room was large, comfortable, and inviting. We will definitely stay here again.

I had an issue with an awful third party company , called the Hotel at 2 am and thought um gonna have the worst customer service ever but "Nia" was just great, helpful, friendly and patient. Problem was solved in a professional way. I just want to let her managers know. She definitely is a good image for the hotel.

No free parking available as advertised on some websites, offered free parking on the street or at a parking garage across the street ( paid $33 for it), heavy marihuana smell on my floor as soon as I stepped on it plus hair on my mini fridge. Luckily only staying here for a night. Never again. Only reason I stayed was because my reservation was already paid for.

Shower was awesome and great for 2 people. Unfortunately, the shower curtain had really obvious mold!! Also, floor of the shower was slippery. Plus, it was hard to use the bathroom sink because the faucet handle fell off every time you turned the water on. Nice hotel, it just needs more maintenance!

The great customer service began from the time I called to see if any policies changed due to COVID-19. The woman who answered the phone was polite and manner-able. She informed me that 4am was the latest that I could check in. When I arrived they had onsite parking available. The parking is first come first served. There was a plexi glass to protect the front desk clerk added after covid-19. So that made me feel safe. There wasn't a crowd of people anywhere in the hotel so social distancing was possible. The elevator was clear just me and my family. Coming down when the elevator stoped the housekeeping staff did not board the elevator which I liked because they really exercised social distancing. The only negative is due to reduced house keeping rounds there was no cream or sugar next to the Keurig in the room so I couldn't enjoy a cup of coffee which is usually a perk for me. Also I did not partake in the free breakfast because you had to go downstairs to get it. I wasn't taking any chances.

This hotel ought to be ashamed of itself. I asked to confirm an early arrival for 1pm because of the Sabbath starting at 3:30pm and instead of accommodating, the manager (who would not return a phone call) said to charge full price for the night before. How cheap and gross can you get??

Checked in and the night shift desk clerk Aaliyah was great. Then right after we checked in it went down hill I booked the room for me and my children for the night and come to find out they didn t have hot water, we couldn t move to another room because apparently they were sold out, no manger and no one that could fix the issue. So I thought ok maybe in the morning things will get better.. NO STILL NO HOT WATER!!!! I had to check out at 9am because who wants to sit around and feel sticky and dirty to find another hotel for me and my children to shower oh and still no manger in the building. WORST EXPERIENCE NEVER GOING BACK

I'm really pretty easy going but this hotel is all fluff and no substance. We were so excited to spend the night after finding it online. All the glowing reviews, great location to Park Slope and such a modern, clean presentation. What's not to like?
Well when you show up at 4 PM and your room isn't ready. That kinda sucks. Especially when the "lobby" is the size of a postage stamp and you are left to just kinda stand there waiting because several other folks were waiting as well and there's one small bench.
Once we got a room, it was two double beds. We paid for and reserved a king. We got two doubles.
Add to that, a $250.00 (YEP TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKS) hold on your card for incidentals? Per night! Their website says $150.00 which is still absolutely ridiculous. When we called the desk, the girl was completely indifferent (probably because she's been getting calls all day) and said, "I guess the website's wrong."
The shower had three different handles; I still can't figure out why and while the balcony is great there is nothing to sit on so you just walk out there, look down at the parking lot and wonder, "why the hell are we here?"
This place tries really hard but falls so far short it's not even funny. The staff can't be bothered, except for extremely pleasant girl who delivered our croissants (which are complimentary) in the morning. A nice touch but not worth the hassle or the money.
Skip this place.

Our first room wreaked of cigarettes. We went downstairs and requested another room, but we encountered the same issue. We also ran into two house keepers and they were not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. I would highly recommend against staying here if you are looking for a clean and safe place to stay. We ended up checking into the Hilton Hotel in Boreum Hill. It's 10min away and for the $25 price difference, you are really getting an amazing deal at the Hilton. It's safe, clean and the staff is taking covid protocols seriously! Bottom line, do not stay at Hotel Le Bleu, you can do muuuuuch better.

Very nice place, doesn't look clean on the outside but I am very impressed with the rooms. Service is very very slow but they seem to be doing there best. If you're looking for a cozy comfortable room that isn't a million dollars. This is the place for you.

Rooms are small and "modern/futuristic" from about fifteen years ago, but clean and comfortable. It's an affordable and convenient location if you're visiting Park Slope/downtown Brooklyn. Just don't plan on having any hotel room parties, there are posted signs prohibiting it. There also isn't enough room.

Service is great, they are very accommodating and there is parking right in front for guests, which is a big plus taking the popular location into account. The location is perfect for downtown Brooklyn, with Barclays center and Atlantic terminal, as well as the Fulton mall and more within walking distance.

Reading the other reviews, they make this place out to be horrible! If there was ever a bedbug problem, it's cleaned up now. The furniture, bathroom, and bedding were all lush. Gotta say it was nice to have a shower where the nozzle didn't spray stinging needles of water- yay waterfall nozzles! It's only a short walk to Prospect Park and there are some good bottomless brunch places in the area!

Stayed in the newly updated signature king room with the Manhattan view on the 7th floor. The terrace is small but you can see lower Manhattan very well. The room was very nice and clean, and the showers are super nice. Our breakfast was a little late being delivered, but we were not in a rush and it was nice having it delivered. Very close to the subway and plenty of restaurants nearby. Free parking is a nice perk! We would return again for sure
