Granted my second experience was much better than my first , the lack luster service at this Honda leaves much to be desired. My car was estimated to take 3 hours MAX and it took 5. The sales person I had was far too busy constantly backhanding me with comments than trying to make my experience better after I made him aware of the terrible experience I had previously. Unfortunately I had to come here due to a recall on parts on my car but I will NEVER bring my car here to have service done voluntarily.

I have a very good experience purchasing my Accord at serramonte dealer. My agent's name is Marcin and he did a great job.we communicated for several weeks and I test drive the car 3times to make sure I really like it.....we finished the transaction late so I ahve to bring back the car the next day for detailing.
He even drive me after I dropped the car at the dealership and delivered the car to my house.very good customer service.
My only grope is that the detailing department didn't do a very good job.
You can see the swirl marks of the buffer machine on the car, there are a lot of white residue from the wax especially on the sides of the door and on the roof...in short poor detailing service......
I can't imagined paying them for detailing services....
Marcin on the other hand is a very good sales agent...I recommend him and I recommend the Accord sport 2.0....great car!!!!

I will never buy a car from them again. I bought a used car from Edmund who told me it was in perfect condition and it needed no repairs. As soon as I got on the highway my car shook every time I braked. I didn't call them back right away mostly because when I signed the paperwork, the salesperson told me I am 100% responsible for the car and I can't bring it back to the dealer for any reason once I sign and leave the lot. As a first time buyer, I unfortunately believed him, and by the time
I found out that what they told me about bringing the car back was false, a few months had already passed since I bought the car. Now I am stuck with a brake problem I can't afford to fix. So I recommend you bring your business elsewhere.

Eric Chau is extremely helpful in the service department. However, I'm not too happy with the rest of the service. I had personal belongings in my trunk that got stained and dirty, likely from a technician. The repairs were initially completed, but the issues started to persist again.

Scheduled an appointment with Kris and he was there waiting for us. He was fantastic. He showed us a few cars and test drove several of them. He explained pros and cons for each vehicle and when it came down to choosing, we chose a Lexus because it just made more sense for me and my family which was his recommendation. Couldn't be happier with the service and vehicle. Will definitely return in the future and send referrals.

When you purchase a car - particularly during the current COV-19 situation - it's hard to know whether you're getting a good deal or not. I appreciate that the folks of Honda of Serramonte provided the information I requested, avoided buy-now pressure tactics and were patient with my week-long buying decision.

The only complaint I have - and it's one that I have with every experience I've had with car dealerships - is that add-ons are not always explicitly stated up front. In a couple of cases they appeared during the purchase and document signing process, which made the transaction more complicated than necessary.

I had a great experience at Honda of Serramonte. Charles Pruitt greeted my boyfriend and me in the parking lot and was instantly friendly and helpful. Once we told Charles that we were interested in leasing the 2016 Honda Civic LX, we reviewed the deals being offered by the dealership (much better deals than other Honda dealerships we visited), and Charles took us to look at the vehicle. He knew everything about the vehicle and answered all of our questions. Charles was kind, patient and helpful throughout the whole process. I am very happy that we went to Honda of Serramonte and that Charles was the person who greeted us in the parking lot.

These guys are wonderful. It took me less than one day to complete a deal. I sent out my requests over the web on Sunday night. Got a couple of really good offers. Honda of Serramonte had the exact car I wanted. They firmed up the price and I was in Monday night to sign my papers. No hassle. No pressure of extra stuff though they offer a few things. I was done and out of there in an hour and a half (applying for financing because they offered a great rate took most of the time).

Honda of Serramonte services never disappoint me! Each employee I encounter is so helpful, making my visit easy and quick. Staff is very friendly and I highly trust the work they put into my 2018 Honda Accord. Eric Tom is the guy to go to! Super friendly, always gives me an honest breakdown of what my car needs, and takes care of everything very efficiently. Every time I pick my car up after an oil change/tire rotation, I never leave unsatisfied. I've always had a pleasant encounter with Eric T and will definitely will be a loyal customer! Been looking for a specific car, a used 2016 Honda civic touring. Looks like new, drives like new, only 10k miles. A unicorn in the driving world. I ask Edmund if he can can confirm that the vehicle is still there. It is and he sets me up with the carfaxx, the specs. Everything to confirm that I want this car. Next day I show up, Edmund walks me through the car, we test drive it and it's basically done. Makes the car buying process easy and painless, explains everything we have questions for. Never seemed to just try to upsell us. Very good salesman. Would definitely look for him again if I was here again.

I have been going to Honda Serramonte for my 2002 accord maintenance for over a year now. I am giving them 5 stars because of their staff professionalism and great customer service. My adviser Eric Chau help me on my last visit and was impressed. He always kept me updated on what's going on on my car. I didn't feel that I've waited for almost 3 hours. They give a pretty accurate time on how long your car will be there and they kept the promise. They also give complimentary coffee and snack in the morning. I recommend this place for all the Honda users around the area.

Just recently, I called the service department and was speaking on the phone with an employee named Jocelyn. I explained to her that I had missing items from a recent service that I have received within the past week. She kept redirecting me to different departments and yet, nobody had the answer to my question. I just felt like I was not getting a direct answer, which was making me feel frustrated. Finally, I got redirected back to Jocelyn by another department. She responded to me with a cold attitude and gave very rude remarks.

It was a long process, 4.5 hours, but we concluded it to our satisfaction with a feeling that a fair deal had been reached without any pressure. It was an end of the year sale and we went open to making a purchase but if we felt overly pressured we certainly could of walked out without regrets. Fortunately it didn't come to that and we have a beautiful new CR-V

The worst dealership in the Bay Area.i went there to cancel my gap Insurance they had me waiting for almost 2 hours and it wasn't busy at all plus they kept on send me mad people like they gonna pay that off they're pay checks well end of it they said it will take from 3 to 4 weeks to get the money and if I don't hear nothing from them call the number they gave me.i called the number after 2 weeks to check how I'm gonna receive my money but they didn't send anything from the dealership to prove the cancellation and now I have start all over again and wait for another month

If you are a Honda customer or love Hondas don't go to this dealer ship because they're just gonna waste your time and make you hate Honda cars

We won t planned to buy the car but he was not pressuring us which made us to review the car and ended up buying the car. We give him 4 stars. If we were to come back following day to negotiate the transaction we would feel less pressured. Over all Thomas was nice and professional domineer. Overall we like the car.

Went through the COSTCO AUTO program. It was great as I was given an invoice showing me the MSRP. and the discount given. There was no need to bargain or deal with bargaining for a better price. It was hassle free and the process was how it should be hassle free. The price was a good discount and what I would of asked for.

I d recommend using Costco Auto program again. I worked as an auto advisor 20 years again and I know the ins and outs with dealing with sales. This was great and I did not need to hassle with all the sales hassle.

Repaired my 2009 Honda Fit. It needed new coils and new spark plugs. It is working great now. I heard the coils are bolted on the engine (a design change) so they get hot and fall apart quicker. My car has around 143,000 miles. Not the dealer's fault for a bad design. Well, this should get me to 200,000 miles. Update. At 200,000 miles and working good.

Be EXTREMELY wary of the financing process with this dealership. I came in to purchase a 2017 Honda CR-V. The price of the vehicle itself was very competitive. I had worked with the online sales rep prior and the vehicle was ready for a test drive when I got there, with all the windows open. I was told this was due to COVID, but what really was happening is they were trying to hide the cigarette smell the previous owner had left, which I only noticed once I took possession of the vehicle and it had been sitting for a few hours. Test drive was fine, they weren't willing to budge on price but the car was already $1000 cheaper than the next most comparable vehicle in the area so whatever.

The real issues started when I began the financing process. After the credit check, I was presented with a few different loan terms, and rates that were surprisingly high given my credit score and the fact that the loan would be secured by an asset, the vehicle. I balked at this, and magically a few minutes later they were able to find a rate that was a little lower, from 4.99 to 4.27. I had declined the extended warranty previously, because it was upwards of $2.5k and the margins on that are ridiculous. Then midway through the process, I was told that I would qualify for an even lower rate if I bought the warranty because, and I quote "the bank owns the car until you pay it off so they prefer you have the warranty" (the state of the vehicle does nothing to change your financial obligations to the lending institution) and it would only raise my monthly payment by $6. This is an outright lie, and after having to ask multiple times to show me where in the lending agreement this stipulation existed, turns out that it was not in fact a requirement for the rate. What they were doing is presenting artificially high interest rates, then lowering them and adding on principal to the loan by adding the warranty to make a smaller impact on the monthly payment and then the dealership could pocket the cash from the warranty sale.

After exposing this, lo and behold I was actually able to qualify for a much lower rate even without the warranty purchase, and instead of increasing the monthly payment by $6, it was reduced by about $50 per month. If you finance with them, you will be lied to multiple times. They will probably also tell you that your specific insurance company gets you a discount on an installation of an overpriced alarm system.

I had also asked if they could replace the A/C filter on the car (a pretty minor repair) to help mitigate the cigarette smell a bit, but of course since I had already bought the vehicle, they had changed from being responsive to just absolutely ghosting me.

Bottom line: The prices of the actual vehicles themselves here are great. The nickle and diming that is done to squeeze every last penny out of you that they can is not. Do not take what they tell you at face value. If you intend to purchase a vehicle, SECURE YOUR OWN FINANCING prior to getting there. TURN DOWN the add-ons, they exist purely to make the dealership money, and you are paying a ridiculous premium on them.

It was an amazing experience! Nothing less than perfect. Darryl in the service department went above and beyond his calls of duty in order to help my father fix the air bag issue. We did a drive in to drop off the car because, frankly, calling into any Honda dealerships is a labyrinth of transfers. Everyone I spoke to said they had issues with the air bag availability for the recall but Darryl was able to locate one, slide me in between some scheduled repairs in order to have my car complete and ready for me same day. However, upon pulling in he noticed I had a SRS light on and said he would diagnose it for FREE! I glad accepted the free diagnosis and it turns out the passenger side seat belt clip had malfunctioned and was causing the SRS light to come on. To my even greater appreciation, he said Honda is amongst the only car manufacture that guarantees that part for life. Score Score Score. He said that unfortunately he does NOT have that part in stock (Bummer!) however he can have it ordered and shipped to the dealership next day (Amazon Prime style). He said he will give me a call tomorrow when it was completed. (He also gave me several calls throughout the day to keep me updated on the status of my father's car). So the next day rolls by, I got a call--which I missed due to work, but he left a voice mail saying the car has been completed and is ready for pick up. Of course I could not get to the service department to pick up my dad's car before they closed at 6pm since I was at work as well.. but he brilliantly said he can leave the keys with the sales department that does close at 10pm. So without any drama, fighting, or push back I was able to fix 2 things with smooth sailing. I cannot emphasize how great my service was with Darryl. He was also very cheery and upbeat. Very pleasant to work with and greatly recommended by me.

It should not take 2 hours (with an APPOINTMENT) to cut and program a key. They are already exploiting consumers by programming and cutting transponder keys (year 2000-level technology) for $260 and it's salt in the wound to make you wait 2 hours. The guy helping us was very nice but seemed overwhelmed. Overall horrible experience. I'll try harder to find a locksmith who will program Honda keys next time JUST to avoid going to this horrible dealership. 2 out of 2 BAD experiences here.

Great experience until they tried to threaten us into buying the extended warranty for an additional $2,500. They waited until after we had agreed on a price, signed the contracts saying we would buy the car, and THEN he said "by the way, it has some new technology and the car will break down in the next 4 years, do you want to buy the extended warranty?" and he wouldn't let it go. He wouldn't stop trying to scare us into giving them $2,500. I finally had to just tell him he was being disgusting and manipulative and he needed to shut up and just give us our damn car!

Getting a decent price was not too difficult, and the actual sales guy we worked with was great. It was the finance guy that left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding this dealer. If it wasn't for him or this manipulative practice I would give them 5 stars.
