It was an amazing experience! Nothing less than perfect. Darryl in the service department went above and beyond his calls of duty in order to help my father fix the air bag issue. We did a drive in to drop off the car because, frankly, calling into any Honda dealerships is a labyrinth of transfers. Everyone I spoke to said they had issues with the air bag availability for the recall but Darryl was able to locate one, slide me in between some scheduled repairs in order to have my car complete and ready for me same day. However, upon pulling in he noticed I had a SRS light on and said he would diagnose it for FREE! I glad accepted the free diagnosis and it turns out the passenger side seat belt clip had malfunctioned and was causing the SRS light to come on. To my even greater appreciation, he said Honda is amongst the only car manufacture that guarantees that part for life. Score Score Score. He said that unfortunately he does NOT have that part in stock (Bummer!) however he can have it ordered and shipped to the dealership next day (Amazon Prime style). He said he will give me a call tomorrow when it was completed. (He also gave me several calls throughout the day to keep me updated on the status of my father's car). So the next day rolls by, I got a call--which I missed due to work, but he left a voice mail saying the car has been completed and is ready for pick up. Of course I could not get to the service department to pick up my dad's car before they closed at 6pm since I was at work as well.. but he brilliantly said he can leave the keys with the sales department that does close at 10pm. So without any drama, fighting, or push back I was able to fix 2 things with smooth sailing. I cannot emphasize how great my service was with Darryl. He was also very cheery and upbeat. Very pleasant to work with and greatly recommended by me.
