I really wish I could give this place zero stars. They have some of the most dishonest and condescending staff I have ever dealt with. It was definitely the absolute worst car buying experience ever. Save your time and money and go to another dealership. The sales manager was extremely rude and condescending. The salesman I had to deal with had absolutely no idea what the features of the car were and I ended up without a ton of things that he supposedly said the car had. All in all I feel completely duped and disappointed that I had to deal with such an incompetent and dishonest group of employees.

I left my Honda Civic to find the problem. They didn't find the problem(I paid $140) and give me back the car with the open splash shield and mechanic's tools on a window. I'm very disappointed. I thought I pay so much because professional mechanics checking my car. wrong

My experience at DTLA Honda was the best so far. I came in just to look at a car because I was planning to check out more dealers however, it turned out to be the only dealer I visited! He gave me everything in detail as if he had a PhD in Honda automobiles! Ricky is a very knowledgable individual and I couldn't have asked for a representative to help me out with my purchase. Woohoo!! Thank God for the Helpful Honda guys at Honda of DTLA. I was in a car accident, that left my vehicle a total loss. I was so nervous and anxious about getting a new car, you hear all kinds of horror stories, but everyone that helped me was so kind, knowledgeable and comforting. Made the whole process really easy. After test driving a couple cars, I choose a CRV EX(which I just adore) and decided to Lease the vehicle. I've never leased before and had a million questions. I really appreciated the time and patience everyone had in explaining everything to me. I didn't feel haggled or misled into getting something I didn't need. Sam (Sammy) is the best !! Those who work at Los Angeles Honda are kind and cerdious. They were willing to show me what I wanted to see and did not push people to made a deal right away. The only recondand dation I have is to watch for nales in the parking lot.
Great experience! When my husband and I arrived at the dealer, we had no idea of the choices we would encounter. So we were nervous. Our representative, Andy, was fantastic! He helped us out and explained everything in detail. In the end, we were satisfied with the car we got and the valuable information we learned. Excellent customer service, great staff, and the place was clean and sanitized. Would recommend!

After looking and asking for OTD quotes in at least five dealers, Honda of Downtown Los Angeles gave me the quote without bothering me to buy extra accessories and a warranty. I showed them the proper documents to receive the advertise discounts and they honored the advertised price. Some other dealers advertised their cars at one price and they do not honor the price (DCH Honda of Gardena), some other dealers asked me to buy the accessories inflating the price. Just because we spent too much time at the dealer waiting to sign the contract I would give you 5 stars. Thanks Honda of Downtown Los Angeles.

I been coming to do my service at Honda LA DT since 2013, and as a customer I never had a problem, until my last visit (1-19-18) and I'm very disappointed with the service, I understand that I didn't make an appointment, but really?: I arrived around 8am to leave my car for a oil and rotation and went to my work , then I came back around 5pm and my car wasn't ready, they only told me sorry for the wait and that my car was next, so I went to wait. When I noticed that they were almost going to close I approached an employee and he told me that they were going to do the service until the other day because they were almost going to close, I let him know that no one told me of the possibility that my car hasn't going to get it service. I really wasn't going to have I chance to come back the next days so I left my car there, and I got to pick it up around 10am the next morning.
What a wonderful feeling and experience it was to have purchased my first car. Mercedes was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire process, explaining every facet of the process so that i knew exactly what i was getting. Now im stylishly driving my 2017 civic and i couldn't be happier.

I took my car in for an airbag recall and even though it didn't meet the replacement criteria, my car was serviced for other things that were on under warranty. I didn't even know that my 1999 Honda Odyssey wad still under warranty. They were very professional, curtious and only took a couple of hours. They also made sure I was satisfied with their service by telephonic contact. I would definitely recommend them.

We got 2014 Odyssey last Saturday there. We got the car with the color and trim we want, and also the price.
The sales Ignacio J. is very patient and helpful. The negotiation lasted about 2 hours and we finally made the deal. The waiting time of paper work took a little bit too long.
The finance lady Ms. Tu is also very nice and sweet.
It took us about 7 hours from we walked in to we drove the car. The sales Ignacio J. was still very patient to show us the feature of the car before we left, at about 10pm.

I cannot resist to leave a review. They did everything I wanted. I was going to go other stores and explore, but they provided me kind service and gave me the best offer. I am really lucky to get my first car here.
This dealership would be a great place to browse for and buy cars if the people that worked here understood basic customer service skills. We popped in to see our options on a leased vehicle that was almost paid off. We weren't really expecting to walk out with a new car but we did. Once we were seated a lady named Amalia came over to help us out. While filling out paperwork she decided to help another family - thats great! However, she came over to inform us how angry this other family was and that they needed priority and if we wouldn't mind waiting. We were fine with that as we weren't in a hurry. Well, big mistake on our part because we were completely forgotten about. Took her 2 hours to return. Not a problem because she got us a deal we wanted! Sweet. Talked to the manager, Arturo, about signing our contract. Being a current leasee from Honda, it was strange they couldn't pull my credit but they could pull my husbands, who has never as so much bought or leased from any dealership. Not a problem they said and they swiped our card and let us drive away in a new vehicle while promising to waive our restocking fee of our old Civic. About 2 days after Christmas (a weekish after having the car), I get a text from Amalia telling us we need to come back in or risk having our car repoed as we never completed our contract. We were out of town and I told her I was not available to talk at that moment but that we would be in the very first week of January. Well, to that she decided to call me multiple times in a row. I told her we would come in and to leave us alone (she didn't). When we finally got to the dealership to fix this mess that Arturo created, he made sure to tell me about how I needed to unfreeze my credit so that I could be on the lease with my husband. I physically showed them that my credit reports were not frozen. I also pointed out that they were trying to run my credit under my maiden name instead of my current last name. Of course, they didn't even bother to run it under my new name. I know this because the reports they showed me had my maiden name. Okay, fine, whatever we just want to be done so we sign the lease with my husband the only one on it and we leave thinking that was the end. NOPE!!! Remember the restocking fee Arturo said would be waived for us? I got hit with a past due bill for $2500 on March 15th that was dated from March 1st with the charge being from JANUARY. This was the first time seeing or knowing about this charge as we were told it would be waived. It is never ending with this dealership. SERIOUSLY STAY AWAY. Side note: I reached out to the dealership before writing this review and asked to be contacted. They never contacted me. They really just don't care.
I drove about an hour to this dealership , I went to purchase a car and I did just that. My salesman David was really helpful with the whole process and the financial advisor was extremely helpful as well. I got everything I needed for my car at a price I wanted , I definitely recommend going here.

Well what can I say, I had an incredible first time experience! I am 21 and despite my age they gave me a sweet deal and I couldn't be anymore happy with how I was attended and of course the car! I was attended by a young woman by the name of Karen Ramirez and she is the nicest most calm and collective individual I've ever met! She was very supportive, continuously offered us water to my family and I, attended us always and never left us out of sight! I feel like they cared about their customers. Made an appointment for service and was checked in within 15-20 min of my appointment time (8am on a weekday). I did have someone approach me for an up sell which was mildly inconvenient, other than that the dealership was helpful and efficient.

I justhad the best experience with Mike Patel from the sales team at Honda Of Downtown Los Angeles. My whole story started two days ago. Two days ago i went in and got Troy, i wanted to buy a Civic we ran the numbers and we just could not agree on the payment. I told Troy that it didn't make sense to me so he suggested a lease. I said i needed to think about it and i went home. Today in the morning i called in and asked for Troy but he had the day off so i got Mike Patel he pulled up my file and gave me a list of documents he needed to reduce the amount of time at the dealer. I emailed him everything after a few more calls he finally said come on down to the dealer to sign documents. I get there and sure enough the finance guy was ready my car was ready and i drove off a happy customer. The best thing of it all is they embrace technology and how easy that makes the car buying process. The finance app is online. All documents can be emailed in. So when you get to the dealer you've already done 75% if the tedious stuff. I would lease/buy there again in a heartbeat. 1/2/18 i bought another car from Honda of Downtown Los Angeles, it was quick fast and painless. Ricky was my sales man and was great but Mauricio Mejia was amazing! He helped me get the best deal, looked everywhere, left no stone unturned to make sure that i got the lowest price! Amazing experience!

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Got my Odyssey here yesterday for a great price. However, it's the sale staff who really impressed me. Make sure you ask for JESUS ANTONIO. He is by far the best person I've ever met. He took great care of us, very tentative to everything, got us drinks and snacks while we waited, even played with my kids while I was busy talking number. He's truly a great guy! You will be glad you ask for him. And Dan, the sale manager, is an awesome guy. I actually had fun talking numbers with him (hard to believe right? i know). I can tell he was genuinely trying to help, and I really appreciate that. Same thing goes for Alex, the general manager. Overall, great car buying experience! (never happened before!). I strive to keep my Honda CRV in the best shape possible. I was looking to replace the undercarriage cover and other bits after an incident. The Parts Department provided excellent customer service. The manager, Joel and Specialist, Edwin are a great team. They went above and beyond in finding solutions to my needs. They were knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. I am sincerely thankful for their patience and attention to detail. Excellent experience.
Second time buying from Honda of Downtown, great customer service and sales rep. Hector did an awesome job showing us the vehicles and demonstrated great knowledge of the car and details. Edgar who handle the financing was really helpful in getting us a great deal. This is the worst customer service I have faced in my life. The dealership was busy so a salesman worked with us while working with another customer. after one hour just to test drive a car the salesman left and another one got our information and said he will work on numbers for us. Then we waited for hour and most employees and customers left we found out that the second salesman also left and no one was working with us. Talked to the supervisor to file a complaint about the incident he refused to help and asked to talk to the general manager who was not there at the time.
I just leased a new Civic EX-T, and was very pleased with how the process was handled. Salesman Marlon Renderos went the extra mile to work with me on everything from the test drive to the paperwork, and Sales Manager Dan Gene made sure the arrangement was a fair one for both the dealership and me.
Prius C *two* was listed and represented as a Prius C *four* for $11,875
After spending three weeks going back and fourth with dealership to arrange a sell for what I thought was a Prius C four it turns out the car was a miss-represented Prius C two and the dealer was not willing to come down in price in light of this. ($657 over kbb at the time of writing)
Calling the dealership with routine questions and requests for basic information that my lender (golden1) required resulted in being put on a managers call back list which on multiple occasions never happened.
Being car-less and still trying to commute to work during the week while spending almost a month struggling to purchase the car advertised only to then have it revealed *by my lender as they are running the carcheck* that the car doesn't even match what was listed was so incredibly disheartening. In light of all this I asked them if they could come down to 11k (a drop of 875 dollars) and they refused.
Salesperson: "You know Max, I don't price the cars myself, I just sell them" Does that sound right to you?
If you want to buy a car from this dealer, GO IN PERSON if at all...

Worst experience ever. I purchased the car and noticed it had multiple scratches. I told them about it and they said let s make an appointment to detail the car I called them a few days later and they said to bring the car into the dealership. I go in to the dealership wait for an hour and half just to not be approached. They just brushed me off. Manager didn t want to speak with me. Of course after they sell the car they don t care about you anymore. Get more value for your money and go to another dealership. Worst buying experience ever. I will be tell all my friends to go to any Honda dealer other than this one!
This dealership is filled with the most dishonest bunch of liars I have ever met. I was looking into HR-Vs and test drove one. That experience was fine. They didn't have the model or color that I wanted so I asked them to call me if they got it in. A few weeks later I received a call that they had the car and not only did they have one, they had two!! I verified the price over the phone and the girl asked me to fill out an online application for the loan. I filled out the application and emailed her asking for the interest rate. She told me that she doesn't have that information and I would have to come in and meet with someone. I told her I was not coming in until I had the car, price, and interest rate verified beforehand. She gave me the run around for a good SIX HOURS and would not let me speak with anyone else over the phone. She claimed that every Salesman, Finance Manager, and Supervisor were too busy selling cars to email me or call me. I eventually gave up. The next day I received a call from their Customer Service Representative who eventually told me that THEY NEVER HAD THE CARS!!!!!! They lied to me the whole time and tried to get me to come down to the dealership to try and sell me another car that I did not want!!!! The Customer Service Rep then refused to let me speak with anyone else and told me that I would need to come down to the dealership if I wanted to speak with her Manager. Do not EVER buy a car from this dealership. I have never run across a more dishonest, sleazy business in my life. Almost every person that I dealt with lied to me and was rude and condescending to me. It is shocking that they are still in business, they don't even deserve one star.
I was a first time buyer and yesterday March 28, Honda of Downtown made my dream come true. All my family is very brand loyal to Honda so I always wanted my dream car to be a Honda. My experience was amazing, I was nervous and excited all kinds of emotions but they have such an amazing positive attitude that they make you feel at home. One of the worst experiences ever!! They straight up lied to our faces about not being able to lower the sticker price due to a new California Law that came out two weeks ago.....When we asked what that law was , if they had a memo or the name of the law the sales manager changed the subject! Guess what? Honda of Long Beach had never heard of that "law" and didn't have a problem lowering the sticker price!!! And the funny thing is that our family had already gotten two cars from that dealership.... They aren't getting any more business from us or any referrals!! If I were you I would go to a dealership who respects the client and doesn't come up with lies to make more money!
