I brought in my Sprinter RV for a new fuel pump. They got me checked in promptly. Reviewed expected cost and offered me a shuttle home, although I already had a ride to pick me up. They called me later that day to say things were finished. I asked them to leave the RV up near the office and I'd be right in to pick it up. When I arrived it was right there, shiny and freshly washed. Paid and drove away within minutes. Easy.

He was able to answer all my questions completely with detail. He too was able to carry on a human conversation which was nice. Great guy. If its an option I recommend to you seek out this guy's services when setting your appointment.

This place is garbage from a service standpoint. I've taken my car in multiple times for various problems, both electrical and mechanical. They don't fix anything and tell me that's it's "normal to do that" when my air vents won't go to the face vs feet. They won't call you back or answer your emails either. No communication whatsoever. I got an email from them asking to review them and to let them know if there was anything they could improve upon so I emailed both people on the chain and no reply from them either. Nobody here calls you back or cares. Once they've sold you the car, that's it.

I purchased a 2016 GLA and with it I also purchased the Lexcare Premium Protection. I dropped it off the following morning and it was ready by 2 pm.
All in all a very good experience. I have purchased 2 previous Mercedes from Hoehn and the service is always outstanding.

I recently had my Sprinter Camper Van serviced at the Hoehn Carlsbad shop. There were some issues that I felt did not meet the quality that I expect from Hoehn Mercedes. I brought these issues to the attention of the Service Manager, and I must say, he went above and beyond to assure that I left as a happy customer. Excellent service is what I expected AND what I received.

Have been buying and servicing my car at Hoehn for years. They remain a cut above other Mercedez dealerships for one reason, which is their service. Form their General Manager Mr. Chris Murphy, to my sales advisor Mr. Mark Riser, to the exceptionally professional Service advisor with Ms. Lewis. This dealership continues to exceed my expectations throughout my purchases over time and now (2 cars in the last 6 months), and even more so, is their exceptional service team. I m not one to give raving reviews, but Hoehn earns it, and has kept the high standards. Its very comforting to have a a friendly professional team I can truly count on, and who is always there when my car refuses to start! Try them and you'll See what I m talking about.

Hoehn Mercedes-Benz truly values their customers. Service is always prompt, loaner car is on standby as soon as you arrive to your appointment, and I never have to worry about waiting around. I have been able to drop my car off prior to work and still arrive on time without skipping a beat. Communication is wonderful from the moment you make a reservation (can easily reschedule and request a loaner car via online portal as well) and throughout the service appointment whether you choose to communicate via phone or email based on what is most convenient for you at the time. Dave, the service manger/supervisor, provided excellent customer service and guidance when needed.

Highly recommend Paul Nelson as your service advisor! Superior service, extremely honest, prompt follow up and very accommodating!

This is a wonderful dealership. I have had three Mercedes serviced here. Each service was a great experience. The work was done to my satisfaction and in a timly manner. Paul was my service guy each time. He is the best!

We had a horrible experience here with our Sprinter. They were over a day late even starting to look at the vehicle and when they did, they did not listen to what we had communicated at all. We told them about a known issue that occurred hundreds of times in high altitude with no error to be read by the computer (we have a computer reader). After another two days with the vehicle, they called with .great new saying they could not recreate the issue and said there was no error code so the van was fine. What?! The van is not fine. It has a horrible sputter every single time we drove it and got to a certain rpm. Another huge issue, they would not answer phones. Even the Hoehn receptionist could not get them to pick up the phone.
And to top it off, we had things fall from the inside of our van that have never fallen during the thousands of miles we have driven it and on countless horrible dirt road. What did they do while driving it? How fast did they take corners?
We are extremely disappointed with this service department.

Got a beautiful car however the communication at this establishment is pretty much non existent, between other staff and to the customer as well. The day I took my car (2018 13,000 miles on it) home we found out that there was something wrong with the apple play, and the window on the drivers side was broken so now it s day 3 of having my new car and it s already been in the shop for 2 of them. On top of all of that the day of the sale they tried to not let me take my car until the following Monday because it hadn t been detailed yet, which me asked for two days prior to taking the car because there were crumbs all over the seats. Very disappointing to buy such an expensive car and start payments on it when I haven t even had the car I m my possession for more than one day. I feel it s very unacceptable that there was anything wrong with the car when I drove it off of the lot. Extremely disappointed

The work on my car seems to be fine, but I always dread bringing my car in.

The staff in the service department are not welcoming, and sometimes the opposite. I recently brought my car for a scheduled service. Showed up 5 minutes early. The specified service consultant wasn't available so I waited while the greeter tried to find someone else to help me.

After being directed back to the original person, she argued back and forth and complained to several other staff about not knowing which customer to take first, and how someone else should help me.

Then she complained to me about the situation. I told her I just had an appointment and showed up on time, and the behind the scenes difficulties are not my issue to take on.

Because this type of treatment (not being treated like a customer here) are so common, I spoke to the service manager. He said he would look into it, but never followed up with me.

Picked up my car on time, no further problems, but I would just like to be treated professionally at the very least, and perhaps like I am a customer and not a bother to the staff here in the service department.

Had a wait to be checked in. Arrived 10 to 15 minutes early. Requested a sub rental car none available was pit in sedan. Filled up gas tank to bring back to dealer and realized car was not full when I received it. Spent extra money to fill up tank. Went approximately 40 miles cost me 12.50 to fill up. Not sure I will take it back for service at that location.

Just finished trading in my car for an AMG in their inventory, and wanted to recommend Billy Daniels for anyone considering doing the same. I walked in late on a Wednesday morning and drove out with my wife in our AMG GLC the next afternoon. Actually got a fair price for my trade-in. Billy was low-to-no pressure, just really informative, and incredibly helpful in making the deal happen. He's done this for a while, has a card that reads "Master Certified" and is certainly expert on everything Mercedes, but especially AMG. I'm not a regular Google review poster, but really felt that this caliber of sales service deserved a shout-out.

I had to have my new S550 serviced and spoke with Stephanie Lewis she is one of the best service writers I have ever used in all the vehicles I have ever owned no matter the brand. They do what they say they return calls and everything is as you should expect at a dealership no matter what you drive. Excellent Service Department operates with integrity.

My A/C died. It worked 1 hour earlier.
Diagnosis: faulty compressor, low pressure - $1900 + tax
Upon further inquiry it was determined that the compressor was was still functional at a diminished performance level.
With winter months approaching, the need for A/C is minimal. I can live with "cool" air (vs. "cold") for the next 6 months.
Final outcome: recharge A/C and return to service for $280.
Gratitude to the service department for providing me with all the facts and including me in the repair/replace decision.

Not impressed by the Service Representatives that they have staff there. Went in to see if they were able to perform services to my vehicle. Instead I was responded with a default answer that Mercedes didn t have the software too. I have done weeks of research and read many forums that this function can be done with the SDS Star diagnostic tool. Yet the personnel did not want to get out of his comfy little office to ask his service tech guys to see if it could even be done. I am highly disappointed with the Service department.

We stopped into our local San Diego Dealerships, got the arrogant, over confidence personality from the guys. I loved the cars but was not sold on the service or that they were generally trying to help vs making a sale. Last minute idea to stop in at Carlsbad Mercedes with hopes they would be more helpful. We met Kristine who was nothing but helpful. No pressure, very informative, listened, was relatable and straight up. What I wanted was not on the lot and she sure found what i wanted in our price range. Everything she did it was everything other dealerships didn't do. She was working with us and not for herself. This was my first car experience outside of Toyota, Kristine at hoehn Mercedes I trust.

I was, as usual, very pleased with the annual service provided by Hoehn Mercedes. I was the first to arrive (before 7:00 am) and the car was immediately entered for servicing. The process took a little more than an hour although there was a problem I had had involving starting the car. I enjoyed good Internet access in the waiting area as well as a couple cappuccinos. It's a great place for servicing and far better than anything I've experienced with other car makes. I highly recommend.

Whoever put this team together really knew what they were doing.

I can't express how professional and honest this dealership has been to me on all levels. I've had my car serviced there for years, and each time, they have performed above the standard.

I recently purchased a new model, and it was the most efficient, accurate, and value-added purchase than any other dealer could offer me.

The car is stunning, and the dealer, Jim Waldruff was able to quickly select a style that fits "me" to a tee, and offered the most for my money. What else can I say... I just simply love it.

It's worth the drive from La Jolla to do business here. Or any distance, for that matter. I personally recommend Jim at Hoehn without reservation.
