No free WiFi. Still a great experience. There is a mall attached to it and it's walking distance to many tourist attractions. Second time staying here, will probably stay here again
Hotel is clean and service is fast. We had an issue with the hot water which was fixed immediately.
This Hilton is a pretty good place to stay. I love the location but i am giving it 4 stars because the rooms are getting pretty dated.
Great hotel for a conference. Large comfortable space
Hotel staff was quick to address an issue i had with the room and gave me a new room with one heck of a river side view. The staff is extremely nice and i couldnt ask for better service.
The location was pretty great and the rooms were beautiful. Room service was a tad unreliable and didn't come a couple times until we had to call, but it really wasn't a big deal
I stayed at another hotel but went over to visit my sister and was impressed so I am definitely staying here the next time I come to New Orleans
I didn't have a room. I attended a professional event at this location. Hotel was clean, staff was nice and venue was fantastic
I was here for a school conference. I got a discounted rate on the room and a "discounted" rate on parking, which was $20.00 a day. When I checked in, they also held on to $100.00 over the room rate and the taxes. When I called to ask about this, the person who tried to help me sounded as lost as I was and could only tell me that the hotel "holds" $50 bucks per night in case you use the extra things in the hotel. For someone who is on a strict budget, that extra money is factored in to everything, from travel to food.
The rooms are small and not special for the price. Everything in the hotel that you COULD buy is incredibly expensive. There is no microwave in the room, which really isn't that big of a deal, unless you were planning on saving money and cooking your own food.
Overall, the conference space was great and nice. But I would not stay here on vacation or otherwise. I wish I had stayed elsewhere for this conference.
One of my favorite Hilton properties. Staff excellent, Starbucks inside the lobby :-)
Fun to hear the train go by during our visit. The restaurants inside are top notch, must try the oysters.
Great to be on the river and able to walk to the aquarium in just a few minutes.
When we were not ready for bed and really did not want to stay in the room or great that the galleria was attached to the hotel.
Nice hotel. Need to bring your personal stuff: brush, paste, comb, ear bud, etc.
Awesome experience from check in to check out. Will definitely be a return guest whenever travelinv to New Orleans.
I have 137 emails trying to receive a refund from February 2nd. I have spoken to 4 managers at this hotel, 2 people in finance, 3 at the corporate level and 27+ in guest relations with no resolve. I would advise not giving your credit card out over the phone. I received a one night stay as an "apology". (See pict.)
(Please note I work in hospitality and have written documentation for all conversations below).

Rooms are clean and nice. Hotel is huge. Great restaurants, view, and location.
Great location. So close to the French Quarter. Connected to the Riverwalk. Trolly access to get to the French market.
Large rooms, courteous staff, and lots to do within walking distance, highly recommended
I guess the Hilton standards for the rooms in new orleans is about the same as a motel 6 anywhere else. They obviously only put money into the lobby and ballrooms. Everything else was neglected. The rooms were ok although I swear that was the smallest king size bed I ever slept in. The shower had mold and was leaking because of broken sealing. The pool had a huge layer of mold all along the edge. The pool liner was completely bubbled up causing you to almost trip over it. The ashtrays on the smoking deck weren't emptied once in the 4 days we were there. Breakfast options in and around were terrible. French toast was impossible to find unless you wanted it stuffed for $14, not really to the liking of my 5 year old. $40 total for self parking, had weirdos in the lot. Then worst of all my credit card number was stolen and led to $600 of fraudulent charges. I only used that credit card once in the hallway for a $3 bottle of soda. Ugh. All I could say is that it was great location wise for the aquarium and the mall.
A shout out for great service to Leshawn Hamad at the marketplace shop in the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Fast friendly service in spite of early morning long lines. Keep up the greatvwork!
I m rating this 5 star only because of the room I got which overlooks the Mississippi River. I would highly recommend room 1510. It s high up and when you look out the window, you feel like you are hanging over the River. This hotel is really big though and too expensive for the quality of the room. You are paying for the location. Heads up the hotel tax was $130 for two nights. Total I paid $460 per night with the tax. That s a lot more than I have spent in far nicer hotels
The hotel is next to the Riverwalk and Harrah's Casino, and is walkable to Bourbon Street. The location is great. The hotel layout is a little confusing and badly designed in my opinion, but there are dozens of conference rooms if that is a necessity. The central bar next to the lobby has friendly and great bartenders. There's a swimming pool but I cannot review it, since i stayed during winter. The room I stayed in was spacious and had beds that were firm, clean and comfy. The view of the river was nice too. However, my greatest complaint was the cleanliness. The carpets were filthy, the desk had a puddle of sticky nastiness, and two other countertops were dirty too. The bathroom was adequate and had a large countertop.
It was very clean. The beds and the showers feel amazing. The view is great
It was lovely! Warm water took a while but other then that is was nice.
Pros: good location, nice proximity to all sorts of bars, restaurants and shopping in the French Quarter. Good housekeeping and catering staff. Very good front desk staff. Huge hotel (vegas big), with a busy and active feel to it. Hotel food was edible, but nothing to write home about, in light of the food options in close proximity.
Cons: In- room AC could be stronger. It s hot in NO, and I could have used a couple degrees cooler, but the AC seems to not let guests adjust south of 70 degrees, felt like 73-74. In-hotel FedEx facility was a real bummer, rude people, and insanely expensive. We had our event displays shipped in from CA; and although we paid FedEx a small fortune to get the materials here, the package handlers in the hotel charged an additional $35 for inbound handling (that s, handing the package to me and letting me lug it to the event in another wing of the hotel) and outbound handling (their promise of handing the box to the FedEx driver). Use USPS and ship to the hotel direct- my strong recommendation.
All in all, a so-so experience. There are better, cuter, quainter hotels to stay at in NO, and aside from my conference, I would not choose this place again, mainly because of the FedEx folks, but also because of the hotel size and feel.
Very nice and very clean hotel. My family and I stayed there for the Bayou Classics and look forward to another stay next year at this time.
Hotel is a great stay. Next door to the New Orleans Riverwalk. 16 Minute walk to the WWll Museum. Only drawback food at the hotel a little high, food at places within walking distance priced lower. In other words "More food less buck".
Great hotel with a great view from the 22nd floor. Everyone was always smiling and helpful and the food was wonderful.
Health Club facilities are top notch. Really enjoyed the amenities while participating in a Pickleball Tournament
So far it is nice. A lot of walking and the standard king room is a lot smaller than the picture on their website.
We ate dinner at Drago's after being recommended to go there for the oysters. We were not disappointed. The oysters were amazing and the rest of the menu looked great. I also got the creole shrimp and they were good. Pretty busy, but not too loud and we got a table quick. Next trip we will be back for dinner again.
Nice view of the Mississippi River. Walking distance to Bourbon Street

Don t stay in this hotel. No service AT ALL. We called the housekeeping when we checked in for the missing shampoo. It has never come until the very next day when we complained our room was not cleaned by housekeeping at all. We traveled around the world and this is the very first time we didn t receive any housekeeping service for a hotel room. Totally unacceptable and unbelievable for Hilton. I will advise all of my family and friends NOT to stay in any Hilton at all. I would give negative rating if there was such an option.
Pretty par for the course large hotel experience for Nola. Rooms are dated and the amenities reflect their age. Service is great.
So far not impressed. Been standing in the front desk line for more than 20 minutes. Only TWO people checking in guests. This is unacceptable. Its Saturday night before a Saints home game. Seriously!!!!
Very bad hotel. The staff at this hotel is very rude and unwilling to provide any instruction or help. I complained to their manager, but it turned out that the manager is same rude and more slippery. She promised to look into the issue, but has never contacted me again after I checked out. The location is a little bit away from center, and close to riverside, so it is dangerous to walk back in the evening.
Drago's oysters we're fabulous. I would not leave New Orleans without a visit or two to Drago's
The hotel was very large and the signage was misleading! I got lost for 40 minutes trying to get back to my car in the garage. Otherwise the room was nothing to get excited about and while the view was great, not sure I would stay here again.
I was there visiting my sister and her husband after their wedding. The staff was great, very friendly and polite.
This hotel is a kind of basic without personalization and spirit. Amenities are awful. The Drago s Restaurant is a shame. Breakfast bars are awful and unworthy of a 4 stars hotel. This is the first time And a last time for me.
Nice hotel. Great location. Friendly service. Great oysters at Drago.
Great location, tons of amenities, decent service, and adequate rooms. Clean but nothing more than adequate. Would stay here again for convenience alone, although tge Parking situation is not convenient.
Great service provided by the staff. Hotel itself is clean and in a good location. Only negative is that the rooms are outdated especially for the price.
The hotel is nice, great location between the convention center and the French quarter. The rooms are a little but aged, but the common areas are very nice. What they really need is a bigger restaurant. Or perhaps a higher restaurant. In the morning the breakfast and in the evenings for dinner the waiting is outrageous. That's also apply for the Starbucks, where you may have to do a 15-20th minutes for your coffee sometimes.
Hotel is great, staff are excellent. Just a lot of construction everywhere around downtown.
Nice clean facility, however the bailhop I delt with was rude. Most everyone else was nice.
Went to an event for senior citizens...food was good, servers were very nice. Hall was easily accessible.
I only visited the lobby and bar, but that was very nice and staff was very pleasant.
Nice hotel... just hard to navigate from the parking garage- they need more signs
Great room. I wish they didn't charge $12 for the gym.
Service is awesome. Location is convenient to all of the entertainment around like Harrah's Casino and shopping outlets. Rooms are well serviced and maintained. Still here. Hard to leave. Having an awesome time!!
Hotel was very nice. Great view of the Mississippi River from our room
Train comes by at 1 and 5 in the morning, keys kept messing up, told me I could not switch rooms when there was only glass protecting me from hell ' s bells at all hours of the night. Good location and everything inside the room was great.
Clean hotel. Very nice amenities and proximity to many local restaurants and bars.
Went to Drago's!!!!!The BEST char-grilled oysters!!!!!
Visited for a work conference at the Hotel and had an amazing time!
I asked for a king room and was assured I would get one I called 2 days ago and was told I would get a call back within 3 hours. When I made my reservation I upgraded to concierge level. When I arrived I was told the concierge lounge level was closed. No call back as of yet (48hours later). Spoke to manager today and she did not answer any of my 3 concerns. I also called the honors app phone # and got disconnected when I was asking difficult questions. Then the concierge was rude as can be. Why do I not deserve follow through or respect. Forget this place. I'm discontinuing my Hilton honors membership.
Very nice upscale hotel. Definitely worth the money.
Business Conference. We had a group of 2000 people occupying three hotels in the area. Riverside hosted our meetings and some of our meals. Hotel did a great job except for the food (had a couple of issues with some of the group meals). Room had some cleaning issues when arrived, but was otherwise well maintained.
The location is conveniently located close to the riverside, Audubon aquarium, trolley stops, and a host of restaurants.
The hotel itself was clean, but the hallways were showing some wear and tear. I'm a Hilton Honors member and I was not particularly impressed with this Hilton.
Service at the hotel was pleasant. There is an exceptional health club at the hotel, with pickleball, volleyball and tennis. As an avid pickleball player I would strongly consider staying here again. Minus the health club I would probably choose another Hilton brand hotel in New Orleans.
Consistently great experience. Make sure you ask for a room with a view of the river you won't regret it. Walking distance to virtually everything in downtown and the quarter.
Good hotel with shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Accommodations are adequate, although my room was not available at check-in time, despite a reservation.
I really like this place. Clean. Close but not too close. Great bar and restaurants. Views.
Hotel rooms were average, but the hotel has great amenities and a good location. Dracos, on the first floor, had good food. And the FedEx business office, though expensive, was extremely convenient and valuable.
Clean and spacious rooms, although room cleaning almost seemed random (either very early in the morning, late sfternoon or not coming at all). I found it really strange that hotel guests must pay to have access to the gym, but perhaps it's always like this in the US.
Good location and close to everything. Attached to the Riverwalk outlet mall is nice as well
beautiful hotel! Would give it five stars parking is atrocious
Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that I didn't like was that the rooms are kinda small, and the bathroom is extremely tiny. We also experienced a pest problem which consisted of roaches in the lounge area near Starbucks. To the point where they were crawling all over the place and one ended up crawling on one of my friends. I tried to ignore it but I also found one in my room as well. When we went to management about our concerns they were very accommodating and helpful to make sure we were taking care of. Other than that issue we had a great time at this hotel the food was great but after seeing the Roaches it kinda made me wonder if the cleanliness of the kitchen was up to power :(. We're just praying we didn't take any home.
Very nice room. Overlooked the river. It was clean and furnished beautifully
Nice hotel right in the heart of New Orleans. This hotel is located right next to the riverwalk and is walkable distance from the cruise ship ports. Rooms were clean and updated.
Great views over the river and near to downtown and the convention centre
Second time here. Had a ball food is good. Staff great
New hotel with modern decor and great staff located within a mile of the French Quarter.
Great location. You can walk into the mall from your room. Pretty run down - but looks like some renovations are underway. Starbucks inside. Walking distance to streetcars and other popular places like French quarters and World War II museum.
Decent. Not nice. Housekeeping doesn t happen until very late. Weird. Not eager to return.
Beautiful hotel, we were there for a conference not as overnight guests. The parking is really pricey but it's the rate in the area
It is good place to reach French Quarter as well as waterfront
This is a good location with easy access to different parts of downtown and some great restaurants in the neighborhood. The rooms are nice and clean, and there are a number of places to pick up food in the hotel. The folks at the FedEx office are extremely helpful, and were able to print a pull-up banner with last-minute notice when my package did not arrive for the conference.
Cockroaches in room and horrible follow thru. Not a Hilton Experience. Very disappointed in this destination. The room was infested with cockroaches and ants and I couldn't be more disappointed with my stay. This was an absolute failure on many levels.
We toured the Hilton Health Club. Wow, who knew that such a large athletic club with a multitude of indoor courts was in downtown New Orleans?!? Great facility.
