I would give them 5 stars but I feel I was mislead. I reserved and paid for my room a week in advance only to get there and find the king bedroom I wanted and paid for was all booked. So I was stuck with 2 queen bed. I also asked for a city view instead I was stuck looking at a parking garage wall. The staff was friendly and the room I did get was very nice as well. Just wasn't what paid for.

Using the health club for the event, the service was courteous and helpful. The men's lockers and bathroom facility was clean and maintained. The courts in which the event was held was not clean prior to the start of the event.

Stayed two nights. The location is good but the service was poor. I never recieved house cleaning service so that means they didn't provide coffee. When I woke up and didn't have coffee on day 2, I was a little upset. That's why I give them 2 stars.

The hotel looks clean, but I am not sure.

My colleague who is also staying complained about ants in the bathroom.

My room was on the 8th floor. One day I saw two big roaches around TV set, and I complained. The hotel moved me to a new room on the 10th floor, and I found roaches in the refrigerator area. I reported the incidence, and the hotel wanted me to move to a new room again. They were not very friendly.

I did not see any point in moving, because if you see a few roaches, the hotel is infested with roaches.

Think of its restaurant - Drago's in the hotel. Its kitchen is probably full of roaches. I dined there, and I don.t feel very good about it.

Generally good and well maintained. However they have devoted so much space to meeting rooms, that the only restaurant is jammed. Even so it's big, with open tables. but not enough staff so there are long waits for a table. It's a fish restaurant, which is OK, but there are few choices other than fish. Odd for a major hotel.

The hotel is HUGE with a beautiful lobby area and great access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and the trolley to the French Quarter. BUT...when you get upstairs to a room I remarked to my husband that it made me feel almost a little sleazy...like we were at a no tell motel on the sketchy side of town. I routinely bring along cleaning supplies, and this is one of those times I m SO GLAD I did!!! I wiped down EVERYTHING in there and used quite a lot of Scrubbing Bubbles in the shower and sink areas. (I m not a germaphobe or neat freak. I promise! It was just, frankly, gross.) The bed was the exception as it was nicely made with seemingly clean, fresh bedding. Very comfortable, too! Also on the plus side, there were lots of electrical outlets for our various devices. I was particularly appreciative of the plug BENEATH the bathroom vanity which is a rarity. The furniture, drawers, and cabinets in the room and bathroom were abundant (something a traveler appreciates when staying a few days), but they were really showing their age. The elevators ran pretty fast, something we also greatly appreciated. The housekeeping staff was very nice when they came around each day, but the concierge folks were curt and almost condescending. We didn t eat in the hotel restaurants, but we did have food provided for several conference events. Not the best I ve ever eaten, but not the worst. Overall the stay was OK. That cleanliness issue really needs to be addressed, though. Kinda scary!

Horrible experience.... 230 dollars a night room . mold in the bath room shower. coffee pot was broken in room. Mirror was old like it in really old houses. Furniture was old and scraped up and laminate was separated from drawers . Wallpaper was coming off . Breakfast was 50dollars didn t come with room, 12 dollars to use gym , and 44 dollars to park .

I recently visited NOLA for St. Patrick's Day and stayed here with cousins. Room was nice and spacious for the three of us. Our bathroom tub was clogged to the point that there was a puddle of water every time we showered. We called guest services FOUR times for them to look at it and though someone left a note saying they did, it was never fixed. Also, you have to find affordable parking in the area if you don't want to spend $40 a night so be prepared to walk.

Very nice hotel. There are a ton of things to do right next to the hotel. Room was very clean and they clean it quickly and regularly. Staff was very friendly. Beds were decently comfortable.

Disappointed in room availability and front desk staff at check in. Was traveling with my family (2 adults, 2 young kids) and my inlaws. Had made a reservation for 2 separate rooms with 2 queen beds in each room. At check in, we were told the rooms with 2 queen beds were unavailable, but we could get "2 kings" instead for the same price. We were under the impression that meant 2 kings in each room, especially since we were standing there at the counter with our kids. Got up to the room and it was only 1 king bed. No sofabed or rollaway bed. So the 4 of us had to share the 1 king bed - not a very comfortable situation with 2 little kids rolling around and kicking for space. Why allow someone to make a reservation for a room type that isn't available?!? Otherwise clean and a great view of the river.

We appreciated a 4day stay here while attending a professional conference. Bearing that in mind, the resort was around the other end of the Riverwalk outlet mall, but was a fantastic way to walk toe the conference daily (indoors and A/C nearly the entire way)! It was also situated in the convergence of Poydras and Canal streets, adjacent to the French Quarter.

This is a great place to stay close to the MSY . A little far now from the new airport but is worth few minutes drive or ride . Great service , exceptional amenities , neat lobby and the restaurant is good .

This hotel will charge you taxes even after you paid all of your fees prior to arrival. When asking the front counter lady Lesile why, she was very rude. Kelly, the manager, was equally unhelpful. Said it was due to the group rate, we have stayed other places with same group and never had an issue. This hotel will take your money.
Troy, the server was excellent, the others will not attend you if using the continental breakfast coupon.
Goose, the concierge, was a great source of information on the city and will find out answers if he doesnt know.

Not up to expectations of the Hilton brand. We found shards of glass in our room after my wife stepped on a piece. Called the front desk and they upgraded our room which was nice. Staff is friendly but the housekeeping doesn't do the best cleaning. For the price i would expect more.

Hotel was nicer than expected and room was clean and we'll kept. We didn't spend much time with hotel staff but they were reasonably friendly. The Public Belt was great for an in-hotel bar. The Marketplace (in hotel convenience store) and service at their "continental breakfast" ruined their chances for 5-stars. Both of which you can easily avoid.

Attended a conference. IT staff very friendly willing to help and assist. Bell staff rude. Parking garage dark and dirty. No staff to assist must pay with credit card. Really Dangerous for line females

It's a room. Overpriced because it's in the city. Pillows smelled like mildew and the adjoining rooms can make for disturbed sleep. It's nice that the hotel is centrally located to lots of good eats and has direct River walk access.

I had a nice stay. I had room service the first night there and the short rib was good. I had a bulb go out in the bathroom. I used there text service and it was fixed within a day. No complimentary breakfast though and the breakfast cafe was a bit pricy for the buffet. Complimentary WiFi was provided (I think because of the conference). The room was quiet and comfortable.

Nice place within walking distance to about everything you need to see like French Quarter and sports stadiums. Good restaurants inside and nearby. Rooms could use some updates, but have plenty of electrical outlets.

I've stayed here a couple of times the first time was amazing. However the next time they double charged my credit card. After bringing it to there attention they only refunded a portion of what they owed me.

My room has this strange half window. It starts at the floor and only goes halfway up. I can't really see out. Then I got woke up at 5:15 by a train whistle right under the room. Not really impressed.

I expect to have a home away from home when I stay at hotels. For some reason, this hotel decided to allow construction to occur from 6am. This wasnt particularly a problem, but allowing it to continue till midnight, with power tools drilling into walls baffles me. Especially when I have to get up at 4am for a flight. If I was asked how my stay was when I checked out, I might have vented to her instead of on here.

I won't be staying here again.

Room was alright, the complex is enormous and s but like a maze trying to find the rooms. It's a bit far away from real New Orleans food choices and the tram station outside would have been nice but it was closed, however you can walk through Riverside along the aquarium to get over there.

Went there for mechacon. They hosted it amazingly from an attendee's perspective. Everything was well spaced and I got used to where everything was very quickly. It was very nice as well. There were skylights like wherever they could fit some and it made for some pretty cool photos.

When I returned home I realized someone who had access to my room went inside my travel tote and took a box set of exercise DVD's ($80's worth). I immediately contacted Hilton Security, gave them all the information requested and was told they would get back to me within 2 days. 5 days later I have yet to hear back.

The bartender at the restaurant on the first floor delivered horrible service. He was unfriendly, refused to speak to us and was irritated when I had to ask him 3 times for a glass of water, and 2 times for a refill. He gave my husband the wrong order and was visibly upset when we requested he take it back. He walked away and we had to flag down another bartender to take care of it.

The coffee shop on the second floor next to registration promotes hours they do not honor. The executive lounge on the 26th floor promotes wine/beverages at 6:00 pm but does not honor.

Although the location was convenient, it is not worth patronizing a hotel that has a rude staff, things go missing from your room and you can not get a cup of coffee without walking outside. With so many choices in the vicinity, we will not be staying at this property in the future.
