The room, food were awesome..The free sauna and hamam session were well appreciated. The heated pools of course.. ;)

The hotel is nice and Hilton goes out of the way, but the breakfasts are beautiful and meet the wishes of all countries including our great Saudi people, but the dinner is no longer useful to us as Saudis or Arab public and the service is beautiful and the staff treat them as you ask them for something at their expense and forget They ask for insurance at the entrance of the hotel amount of 15000 rupees, which is equivalent to about SR 1760 riyals .. The location of the hotel is very beautiful and the rooms are also beautiful furniture,

Value for money not great! The Thai restaurant yeah, well, the dessert is not worth it, in short it is a tourist machine

Exotic Family Friendly Resort. Benefits from secluded beach without crowds!

If you are looking for a hotel with closeness to a town then Hilton Mauritius is a good choice, it located in Flic en Flac about an hour's drive away from the airport. It is close to a lot of the sights at the south part of the island and has a great sandy beach. The hotel is nice and mist rooms are a good size with a balcony where you can see the sea. They have two pools , one in the centre of the resort and a slightly smaller infinity pool. There plenty of sun chairs around the pool areas as well as the beach. They have a great selection of water sports equipment and free activities and excursions. The gym is located on the Spa and is a good size and has a great selection of machines and equipment. The Spa has a good list treatments and the staff are very friendly and helpful, however the prices are higher than other hotels on the island. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and good quality. Overall a very good resort, it would however benefit from an executive lounge and more targeted offers towards elite members, at the moment Westin is a much better value if you are top tier with both.

We planned for a new year,,"s ,,,eve and booked 4 rooms . Today there was a salade boulette poisson which i believed you as a GM never tasted. There were lots of kids and no pasta or pizza or any kid's food was available. Salmon was on .menu for new years eve but we had Espadon All the food displays are mostly empty and replenishment take
a lots of time. I waited 30 mins today to get grill lamb fot my daughter. Shame for a 5 star . My husband got on top a food poisoning. Ive been to many international Hilton but you are far from the standard. My bathroom was smelly throughout my stay. Very disappointed

Top hotel nice vegetation 2 pools food is excellent, lots of free water activities

A very nice 5 * hotel, a very good welcome, the Mauritians are very nice and helpful. Pedal boat, sailing, jacuzzi, glass bottom boat, free dolphin ride. Tennis, spa, free 15-minute message, very spacious rooms, bathrobes, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, linen service, mini bar, tea and coffee in the rooms. Shower and bath. Please note that there is no socket in the bathroom. Pretty terrace with table and armchairs. Catering level, choice. I loved the breakfast. Less fan of the themed dinner even if there was more choice. Desserts not terrible for my taste. Paid table water. Nevertheless an excellent stay. Two swimming pools and we have always found free deckchairs on the beach. It remains a trip that I loved and I will gladly leave even if this time if I stay on this coast I will try the Pirogue.

I had heard a lot about your hotel..was expecting to have great food however was very dissapointed with the mauritian buffet that we had...i think for tourist it is good but as mauritian we do not expect to pay and eat home food in a hotel...rougaille, giraumon, carri gros pois, meat curry are foods that we eat regularly at home...when going to a hotel we expect to taste different things...as concerned to breakfast there was not enough place in the main restaurant and we had to be seated at the ginger thai restaurant resulting in having to come and go several times to the main restaurant for food, we had to wait a lot to be served tea ,asked for milk but the person forgot to bring it. By the time he brought it the tea was already cold. The all inclusive menu for drink was limited for a 5 star hotel..only 4 mocktails were on the list and all were bitter..we came for drink and food but we were dissapointed

I loved this resort! I needed a much needed break from a hectic schedule at work. My time at hilton was so relaxing. The spa therapist made me feel relaxed. And the sports tutor helped exercise and remove tiredness. Food was awesome. Do try the infinity pool ;)

Overall: The check in process and welcome was pleasant. I loved the food on offer. I like thai food. Had 1 issue and it was resolved quickly.

Very good place. Food is good. Has private access to the beach for resort residents - sunsets are great. Has spa, swimming pools, tennis courts. Packages of snorkelling, dolphin watching etc for residents are available.

Apart from a couple of staff members, the rest were not friendly. Check in took about 30mins with no queue. When we arrived there was no concierge to help us get the suitcases out if the car. We were supposed to have a free bottle of water every day but only received one. We needed a shirt pressed but it came back twice , with creases. The complex itself was nice.

An older but good hotel with small flaws. Very good, warm staff in the restaurant and in the buffet. Almost all beach activities are free.
Unfortunately there is only half and full board, so the drinks are not included in the price.
All inclusive would be easier and less annoying for everyone involved in the final bill at the end of the stay. The downside at the end leaves a negative impression despite many nice experiences that makes it difficult to come back.

Great location, beautiful beach, good service. Only gave it 3 stars because its just not a 5 star hotel in my opinion. In some places run down (furniture, appliances, etc.) , food is really nothing special and sun beds all very close to each other... not enough space. Employees not trained about sustainability and protecting the ocean from plastics and waste. Saw multiple times how waiters would open bottles and let the plastic blow to the beach, which will then end up in the ocean :-(

The hotel is beautiful, the park splendid, the adult pool is just perfect with the sea view and the sunset and the staff are just perfect, friendly, helpful, available. The restaurants are good but nothing special. The only dark spot: the lack of soundproofing of the doors of the rooms ... The least person who passes or worse, the trolleys of the hotel that roll on the beautiful stones of the corridor wake you up immediately so it sounds .. As a result, we opted for the ear plugs to be able to spend good nights ... If we had to go back, we will ask for a room away to reduce the nuisance ...

Bad experience, cheap quality service, food poor quality

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay at the Hilton and loved every minute of it. The rooms were kept clean and tidy by the housekeeping team who couldn t do enough for you especially Natacha on the evening team who made us laugh most evenings. The food in the restaurants was very good and we enjoyed it all, sometimes too much, and we were well looked after especially by Deepa and Alexa among many others . We also enjoyed the many various, original cocktails made for us by Dilen, John, Sebastian and Kamlesh (amongst others) in the Aqua bar in the evening and the Hibiscus bar during the day, thanks also for the great singing ( you know who I mean) . To end the holiday we managed to stay an extra night when our flight was postponed to the following morning, thanks for putting us up, a great end to a great holiday , hopefully we will be back in the future . Jaques you run a very good team in a lovely Hotel, well done to you all .

I am a Diamond member of the Hilton Group and sleep on average around 60 nights per year in a Hilton hotel. This hotel was a nightmare. Completely overpriced for the rooms and the service. The staff is not trained well. Rooms are old and not renovated. When I spoke to the (French) hotel manager he was looking surprised about my observations that I did during my 7 day stay. At least he gave me later a small discount on the bill. Compared to the total amount it was a joke. The hotel is absolutely overpriced. As much as I love Hilton and Waldorf - I can really NOT recommend to book this hotel. Maybe another hotel manager could at least manage the staff better.

Starting to look old. Also had to keep chasing up staff to replace dirty glasses. Very friendly staff though.

Worst holiday experience ever. The hotel is very noisy and everyone is obliged to involuntarily participate in all the evening attractions. The room was shabby, definitely not what you d expect from Hilton. The worst experience happened towards the end of our stay when my wife, who had only been eating at hotel restaurants, got severe food poisoning which ended up in dehydration and stay at a local hospital. In this whole situation we got very little support from Hilton staff. The duty managers were helpless, indecisive and powerless in light of the crisis.
There are better options if you want to stay in Flic-en-Flac area.

I went there for my honeymoon in the month of May 2015 from India. The overall Experience was quite an awesome to me and my wife. The pool side bar, live music / folk dance, hookah, food, ambiance, staff, water sports / activities, Room and location was simply awesome. Thanks to MakeMyTrip guyz to plan the whole trip to Mauritius.

First off, this is the best hotel in the country. Don't let anyone fool you with bogus reviews. Staying at other Hilton in the Caribbean we were skeptical (since Hilton in the Caribbean are generally trash) the staff: thanks to soudesh/rayoon/rajoo/vinesh/wenda/arnesh/sunil/kapeer/mevin/ Sean/as well as many others were so helpful. Totally made the trip. The food is decently priced, compared to the Weston, the food is at least 30% less expensive with 50 times the selection. The rooms were excellent, modern. They fans and AC. They also have backdoor keyed entrances which is great for exiting where you want. The BEACH. many people on trip advisor and others have asked or not been detailed. First off YES THE SNORKELING IS EXCELLENT. YES THE MAX DEPTH AT HIGH TIDE IS ABOUT 8 FEET. The water is crystal clear. Moral eels, snakes crabs, exotic conks all kinds of colorful fish, star fish. All water actives are free but bring your own water shoes(you don't want to use someone else's) the equipment is rented on 30 min intervals. SWIMMING (NOT WATCHING) with the dolphins. Do not listen to anyone who tells you that you have to take a taxi to then board a board south. There are vendors right there on the beach, very affordable, licensed, professional ( name of the boat and company is Ticou, ticou) they are the best. The buffet while overpriced was very tasty. The room service was always fresh and speedy. The breakfast buffet was great and had all the non breakfast items you could want. Rent a car or hire a taxi outside the gates of the hotel (just walk down). The massage, not the best but who cares. Each room has a safe and all amenities. Including all wall Jacks.

We promises us that we will see them on the afternoon or if not possible than we can come on Tuesday in the early morning for an hour again and we should not have to worry about it. We will see them for sure. And he will make us a nice presence for all the delay in the morning. In the afternoon we were going directly to the port without being informed that we will not go anymore for seeing dolphins. So we were back before 14:00. So our outing was nearly 3 hours shorter than contracted.
And the organizer did not pass anymore at the hotel as promised several time or neither contact us by phone.
On Tuesday we wait at 6:30 am in the morning as promised but again we have to contact him and after he called back he sad that the sea is not good to go out on the 2.October. He will pass about 15:00-15:30 at the hotel.
At 15:35 we have to leave to the airport without contact the organiser again in person.
So you can see that we paid 180 Euro without getting several contracted and promised points.

Easily qualifying as a 5 star facility set in the amazing south west coastline of Mauritius.

Breakfast time was really enjoyable while the whole morning team made us taste delicious recipes well freshly prepared.

The resort offered us a complete assurance to happiness to use freely all facilities such as zacuji,spa,hamam,sauna, swimming pool and massage and sea activities with zeal.

Cocktail prepared by professionals was a great delight.

Lunch as ordered was tasty and well served and meticulously prepared by chef.

Gecko and sunset view were there to bring us luck and peace of mind .

The melidious musicians with sensational songs and music made our day.

What a disaster weekend at Hilton! The grand deluxe room was never seafacing, broken windows, the bathroom sink was blocked when using, there was even cockroach in the toilet, there are bathtubs but they dont have bathfoam!! In addition More

By far the best Hilton we have stayed at. Large modern bedrooms with all the facilities you would expect and more. Very good buffet restaurant with wide choice of dishes, great pools and beach for chilling out, but best of all the truly friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

I try Hilton Dubai it was the best but mauritius much be good too.
