Fabulous friendly staff made our holiday really special. To name just a couple..... Our very kind beach lifeguard, Kahled, put sunbeds, towels and screens out for us every single day, so our toes were almost touching the Sea. He came to see us regularly, and was so friendly. The restaurant and bar staff at the beach, and in the main restaurant, were kind, helpful and service focused. The omelette chef, Mahkmoud, cooked every egg with joy and real passion, he made our mornings bright and sunny. Hilton Hurghada Resort you have some amazing staff :-)
It is too crowded even during off season, worst service i have ever seen, i have called for air conditioner problem and upon 4 phone calls they have come to room and upon multiple calls they brought the international power adapter. I don't recommend this place. Food is so mediocre, i prefer quality over quantity.
The one star is for beautiful pools and beach.

Thanks for the reply, there were many complaints, i just mentioned few of them. We cam through memphis tours (room 7072). 1)We had to kick the door to open post inserting the key. 2)while checking in, no one has switched on the air conditioner and upon 4 calls to both housekeeping and front desk and 20mins they have switched it on. 3)i have requested an international adapter at night and they did not send even by the morning hours, i had to request back during morning hours. 4)Food was so mediocre that we had to eat fruits and desserts and on the last day we had at 3al saj though we had free dinner.
The turquoise "Red sea"- Continental Hotel, Hurghada, Egypt.
Continental hotel is my first location added to Google Maps.
It was a moment of joy when Google Maps accepted that. I've been on holiday to Continental 5 times (till now), and for me it's a small piece of paradise.
Because it is situated in a lagoon the sea is like a big green and turquoise jewel.
You can sit on the beach in the night time, just being, and a warm breeze will blow gently your hair in the wind. The moon and the stars reflect in the still water and you feel like in the movie"Life of Pi"', when he was on the boat, alone, on the high seas.
The hotel has a shopping centre, a spa, "a la carte' restaurants, many bars, a beautiful garden with more than 150 palms, and has an....island, where you can go by passing a small bridge. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Hurghada is a late city: you can cut your hair even after midnight and buy a carpet till 01:00 am. The clubs, bars and restaurants are open till late.
Local I've been to Cairo with 2 Egyptian friends. In the afternoon they asked me where I would Iike to eat : restaurant, Macdonald's, or "local food". So they suggested a local restaurant and we had "camille heart" (honestly I felt a bit sorrow for the poor animal, but it was very good). It is like a big tend, with cushions on the floor, carpets and bamboo.
After 7 pm the music stopped and I heard "Adhan" the call to prayer from a mosque near to the restaurant.
I liked this moment of the day very much: Cairo, evening, Arabian restaurant, local food, and a powerful voice calling the people to pray.
That moment was magic. The place it is very "local" for those who really want to have an "original" experience.
The restaurant staff very clever ,clean and helpful, However the reception staff was very lazy, unhelpfull at all and not professional enough to Hilton standard, it takes 5 hours to receive my room
Old furniture, unprofessional personnel, food bland, the same everyday, needs complete renovation, not 5 stars by any means, if you go there, request one of the renovated rooms in G1 building, but you have to pay extra 500 LE for it. Beach and swimming pool ok.
Was a bit run down but staff more than made up for it head bar man Abdul is worth his weight in gold so helpful and kind couldn't do enough to make our say special and it was will definitely go back
It is away from the gungula center of Hurghada, and is not far from the airport. Clean. You are borrowing towels with a card, returning in the evening and getting clean in the morning. You can carry them on a trip outside the hotel, diving, snorkeling ... water in the sea is warmer than in the pool, in July 2019 the sea is 29C, in the pool 27C. The water in the shower is warm. There is no coral on the beach. Food is more spicy than in Serbia, somewhat uniform. It belongs to the Hilton chain, but it's not Hilton as in e.g. Warsaw where I was also. All in all, a nice and not very expensive experience.
Close to beautiful quiet beach, great facilities for kids with pool complex, nice rooms, great food and service, summer restaurant and bars with drinks and beach so you don't have to go back to the hotel itself.
The catastrophe is a real 3 star hotel, I have no need to comment on everything I had, I told the agency, and whoever disbelieves me, feel free to go and make sure. You will pay for that experience as if you were going to a 7 star hotel and you would get 3.
Rooms: Rooms were very worn out and had little space. An air conditioner is blowing cold air directly to you when sleeping, so you can get cold in one nigh. In-room was only two single beds, and we bought a hotel for four people (two adults, two kids), I went to lobby to request to change room with more beds. They promised to change room the next day, and on the question where we should sleep I got another that "personal will bring one additional bed, and there two people should sleep". Next day I went to request once more to change bet they said to come at noon, lobby asked to come at 1 PM when 2 PM and 3 PM, in afterwards I got angry and start complaining and they finally give me room in new Hilton part (near the sea). The new place was much better, had more space, and the third bed was more significant. Two kids can comfortably sleep in it.
Beach:
Pools: There are three pools in the Hilton. The first pool is in the old part of the Hilton, but there are no people, simple pool with no protection from the sun. The second pool is near the lobby - there is part of the pool where you can learn diving, also a pool bar with some drinks. Even not so popular pool because there is no much space with shadows (old and shabby sun umbrella, kids space also old and there is nothing to do kids where. Third pool - best pool in Hilton, it has three water slides so from 11 AM it overcrowded. There are lots of new pool umbrellas, a big shadow over the kid's pool zone. Although this the most crowded pool, there is no bar for water, other drinks, and food. Pool working time is from 10 AM till 6 PM so if you want to swim in the evening, then air is cooler to freshen up - you won't be able, because personnel will ping you to leave pool timidity.
Kids entertainments: There is a kids room which works from 10 AM till 13 AM and from 3 PM till 5 PM. The kid's room is worn out only one animation team member looking after all kids, tired toys, and no program at all (they show TV daily)
There is a kid's playground near the sea it is very worn out, wooden and broken if you ask me it's dangerous to play with kids. In all vacation period, I didn't see anyone in this playground.
In the evening where should be some entertainment for the kid but where is no schedule what and when - basically programs are going on randomly, also all programs executed in looby space ( and there is no so much space) so it usual overcrowded and the kids can't participate.
Restaurants: There are three restaurants and three pool/beach bars.
Pool/Beach bars: you can get here drinks from 10 AM - water, coca, sprite, Fanta, beer, and some cocktails, ice cream (shaved ice machine) and you can get ice cream only from midday. Main Lobby Restaurant (second floor) - commonplace to have breakfast, lunch, dinner - food choices does not change, and after a few days sighed.
A la carte (Italian restaurant): the worst a la carte restaurant in which I had been. Food the same in the lobby restaurant, exclusive thing which they serve is Pica (two types - with tuna or with cheese). Other dishes are from the main restaurant. If you plan to go to this restaurant, you should book in advance for at least five days. It is located in the first lobby floor.
It is very good place for relax in Egypt. Much vetter than Luxor and Aswan. Nice swimming pool and beach area. Good for skin and scuba diving in this area.
The worst so called 5 stars Hotel I have never seen !
1. Went out for breakfast from 07:30 to 10:30, my room (5209) service just refill drinking water, tea and coffee packs. ALL things inside my room were kept unchanged, such as the bed, dirty toilet, litter bin, used towels, bath and shampoo didn't refill
2. Free Wifi in lobby was just cover ground floor of the lobby, 1/F of lobby without coverage, WTF high tech design which can restrict wifi signals leakage!
3. Rooms' facilities were very old and the carpet made the floor(brick) more slippy. The water pressure in toilet can not flush your xxx in one press! Always need 3-4 times!
4. There were no signs and direction guides inside the hotel. It's hard to find the way to the facilities.
5. The room's arrangement were also bad. We need twin room, but the check-in counter arranged a double room, it wasted half an hour to rearrange the room. We were moved to a room which far away from the main building!
6. I'm now staying at 5209, if you guys want to verify my comments, pls come here before tomorrow breakfast.
Hilton Hurghada resorts hotel changed my images about the name "Hilton" ! I won't pay any more to the brand "Hilton" !
This is the worst hotel ive ever been to in Hurghada. I know there is corona and all the issues going on, but me and family decided to stay here since they opened and they have a certificate from the government. They have no respect for the guest by any means, when we first came they gave us 2 rooms that had no electricity and not clean, actually we found a lizard in the room we tried to contact them but they had no response for an hour, after a fight they gave us 2 beautiful rooms that were suddenly available. We paid for all inclusive when we asked for a bottle of cold water their response was sorry but we dont have, come and check in 10 min. I came after an hour on the pool area, beach and lobby still no water, they said we can only give you cups, like really small cups, in this hot weather and a guest thats what i get, after a big fight the manager of food and beverage told me they are saving for cost reduction issues, we went to the same place that ive asked for water, and guess what they have thousands of cartons and they refuse to give to people. And now when we were having dinner we asked for 2 bottles of cold water , they gave us one closed and the other one was filled from the tap as if they know to fool us. I don t recommend this hotel to anyone from anywhere. Had to go to the reception over 5 times just to get the room keys, not the spare ones.
Very nice stay in nice hotel with a very friendly staff. New buildings are under construction. Bcp swimming pools and beautiful water playgrounds for children including slides rather nice. To advice
A great hotel, had a lovely time with the family, only problem which I found is the amount of plastic around the she of the beaches, this is the case with all the beaches in hurghada
Very excited about the beach and the animators and the food - supere! The furniture in the accommodation room is old. The rooms are bad. The linen cleans the rest. Good. We'll go to them again!
Top notch villa style appartments overlooking pools or the beach. Nice facilities and everything you would want out of a red sea resort. Very highly recommended.
We booked a cheap trip and actually expected much less. But the room is good and the staff really leaves you wanting. Also the food is very good, price / performance top.
Would like to go with my family next year to the Hilton, but I am playing volleyball was very rude of the place because I was a guest in the hotel. Now we will look for another hotel. Smooth 6
Focused on Chinese people. They are on tour all day and therefore only use the evening meal. For their running and flying, and for the other holiday goers who are at the resort all day. Everything is much harder. Far too many aggressive sellers on the beach offer tours and massages. These again don't bother the Chinese and only those other guests until you have bought something from these sellers and they leave you alone immediately. A perfect hotel if you look Asian, all other nationalities should better ignore this hotel and opt for the Steigenberger Al Dau hotel in Hurghada. No annoying sellers there and everyone is treated equally.
Hilton? More like Merkel! A week's vacation in December for 550 euros. In short, an aging hotel with a very nice staff. There is food available but nothing special.
The hotel is very nice, all the staff is friendly the only inconvenient is the food. The food is not very good, from my point of view, what I tried from the Italian restaurant was the minestrone soup and from the champs bar the blue cheese burger. The room was nice and big.
A lovely clean and pleasant hotel. We were in the modernised section of the hotel and can only comment on that. The room was pleasant, comfortable and facing the sun. The staff were keen to please and the gardens and beach area were a pleasure to be in. The talented animation staff worked hard to provide entertainment and activities. We would return to this hotel.
