Don't be dazzled by the name Hilton, this hotel needs serious renovations or better periodic maintenance, and is not at the category that you would expect from a Hilton. Good: excellent buffet food, excellent service by staff, good (although small) sandy beach, good swimming pools, good spa and massage services. Bad: lots of hidden extras for an all inclusive; rigid and limiting beach and pools schedule (10am to 6pm); NO WI-Fi (price per week was $40, we paid $10 for 24h but it didn't work -and they made us call the service provider instead if taking care of the problem); animation is weak; beach could be cleaner (cups, plastics in the water and sand), lines in the buffet for everything (drinks station, dessert station, etc).

I wouldn't give "2 stars" for this hotel. Don't know from where should I start honestly.
>First, we were supposed to check-in on April 30, the hotel claimed that they were paid for check-in from May 1 by the travel agency. So we had to wait in the disgusting lobby, since we arrived April 30 at 2am, to have our rooms on the next day (May 1) to check-in at 2 pm. The lobby is a mess, I recommend to get more employees, for cleaning and service, cause you have very bad service as well. Then my friends and I went to check the rooms, they weren't the ones we booked.

We demanded to get the rooms we booked, they said that we have to wait till 2 pm to get them clean, then they delayed us till 5pm, and I couldn't get any fair explanation for that. We got our rooms at 5.20 pm!!!!
>The 2nd day, we spent the whole day out the hotel, came back at 6 pm to find out that my friends room wasn't cleaned yet. We kept calling them for an hour and a half asking them to send the housekeeper, we even asked for the general manager, they kept delaying us and shutting the phone...no replies!!!
More is yet to come.
Zero service, zero hygiene, very bad attitude, bad behavior, unrespectful.
After that I still dont know who should I accuse for my denied early booking, is it the fraudulent agency or this "respectful" hotel???
I'm just wishing my holiday ends.

Service here was absolutely excellent - the front desk staff was one of the best I've dealt with in Egypt (they certainly deserve five stars). The room was really really comfortable and spacious. The property was decent enough. Food was average.

we had reserved a room for 3 when we arrived it was not armed. They put us a cot which we obviously rejected. after arguing they agreed to put a third bed. Every day we had to claim shampoo, towels and water, they only left for two.

Food is a little bit to be desired (hence this being a 4 star review) but the resort itself is excellent with very friendly, helpful staff. The private beach is gorgeous with lots of activities going on lead by the animation team.

I'd be happy to return to this resort again in the future and will recommend it all my friends and family.

The lowest standards I have ever seen at the restaurant! No quality and taste less food, my stomach was even hurting after 2 days I stop eating in the restaurant ! If there was a ZERO rating I would be glad to give it you.!

This is actually my second visit, the first being ...

This is actually my second visit, the first being well over 10 years ago but I didn't realise I'd been before. Half the hotel is currently being renovated which is actually a blessing. The hotel is too big for the dining room and bar areas for a full hotel. As it was we often had nowhere to sit in the bar during the evenings. A full hotel would have been ridiculous. My room was comfortable and always kept spotlessly clean although very dated as it wasn't one of the rooms that had already been renovated. I knew this before I came as I wanted a sea view and had been warned. A sea view makes my holiday so I was fine with this. The beach is nice, but again with a full hotel it would have been impossible to find a spot for the day. As it was we were fine.
The bar staff in Waves (the beach bar were always friendly but didn't offer a waiter service which you would expect from a 5star hotel. The bar staff in the hotel bar were mostly miserable and fairly sloppy, there was only one guy there who seemed happy to be there.
The waiters at breakfast and dinner were a joy. Always happy and always knew what we wanted to drink and couldn't do enough for you. There was always plenty to eat and the food was good if a little unvaried. The Egyptian night food was very good. There were only two Al La Carte restaurants. An Italian (which had a rather poor reputation) and one other which came at extra cost. Most 5star restaurants offer more than this.
Overall we had a good stay but mainly because the hotel was half empty. I think the experience would have been awful had it been full.

Hotel zaista ne zasluzuje vise od 3 zvezdice. Cak je i 3 puno.
Sobe katastrofa, dobili smo nerenoviranu, iako smo platili za renoviranu pogled na more, no dobro, precutah. Otvorih oci i ugledah gustera na sred plafona, odem do recepcije, kazem i sobaru kojem ostavljamo svaki dan baksis, jer to tako mora. Niko nista ne preduzima, hrana je ok, vrti se uglavnom isto, ali je sasvim ok. Plaza mala, ali top! Ali sad i vise nikad. :)

Since there are no detailed reports about the Hilton Hurghada Resort here, I would like to share my experiences with you. We were now 10 days in Hurghada. Booked for 5k Hilton points per night. Upgrade to newly renovated room received. For egyptian standards absolutely ok. The room was located directly at the pools. We decided against all inclusive. The seafood restaurant is not recommended. The Italian was okay. Since we travelled with a baby we often ate there in the evening. We often used the room service. The food was very tasty. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive throughout. The last reconstruction of the block with sea view is in progress. The construction noise has been kept within acceptable limits. This time we have booked the transport from the airport and back to the airport through the hotel. We were picked up in a very clean hotel minibus. There is no big difference in price to our standard taxi company in Hurghada. The breakfast was okay. We have been in Hurghada very often in the last years in other hotels and so we can compare very well, also with more expensive hotels. I recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to book a cheap holiday.

I have visited this hotel more than 7 times, some with friends and most of the times with family.

At times we were around 16 persons with kids per stay, had absolutely no complaints.

CONS:
Once i booked a room that opens to the beach, but was not available, the management was kind enough to upgrade my whole stay.

I Highly recommend this resort and will definitely visit it again.

Actually planning to do so this coming July.
