Honestly, this is not the fanciest, most flashy hotel you could stay at. In fact, it needs a bit of love and an update. What makes this a gem are the staff. Warm, sincere, attentive - everywhere I encountered them, I was really impressed. From the spotless cleanliness to my room, to the smiley face that brought me eggs in the morning: perfect. These are most certainly people who are genuinely committed to customer satisfaction. What the hotel lacks in modern touches, it most certainly makes up for with heart.

Facilities are neat and staff friendly. Useful because there is a large desk in the room. There is a spa on the first floor for 2 to 3 people and a relatively spacious fitness room. The disadvantage of the bathroom is that it does not sound well.
It is useful because there is a mall nearby and a mart in the back, so it is a bit uncomfortable to cross a lot of crosswalks. An area that is not pedestrian-friendly and easy to drive. We recommend going to the marina towards the back in the morning. It is quite long so it takes about an hour to get to the end and the road is clean and well maintained.

Excellent business stay. I walked in, checked, and found an organized room that worked well. It s very clean, comfortable and offers a free city shuttle. They have a very nice 1st floor layout with open fireplace to lobby, lounge and restaurant. There are several small isolated, quiet and intimately designed seating areas throughout. I ordered the Cobb Salad for dinner the first night. I was very impressed. It s a big, fresh salad.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Very nice staff at the front desk and those I met in the hallway. The card swipe getting in and out of the parking lot was annoying though. They need to come up with a better solution.

This hotel is slowly going downhill. We've stayed here before for business trips and th at is what brings me here once again.

This hotel has many good qualities, but on this trip, I'm beginning to see where it's lacking.

When I checked in, I was issued 2 let cards for my room on the 11th floor. When I got to the room I tried both keys and neither key would open the door. So I rode the elevator back down to the front desk to get new key cards. Another patron was in the elevator with me and actually asked, "I'll bet your key cards didn't work, right?" Apparently, I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

At the front desk, I was issued 2 new key cards and was told by the attendant, "This is an old building. Sometimes it takes 3 tried for the key cards to work." I refrained from telling her that I tried WAY more than 3 times, took the new cards and headed back up to the 11th floor.

I don't remember how many tried it took before they worked, but it finally did. Maybe it's more expensive of a fix than they'd like to undertake, but I feel the.cost of updating/replacing their old card readers is a worthwhile investment.

The room was nice and clean - mostly. There was a piece of toilet paper in the toilet. That was kind of gross, but since it didn't appear as though it was used for poop, I flushed it and moved on.

Other than the key cards and the toilet, the outside of the windows were extremely filthy. Not water spots from rain or most, but caked on dirt. I'm sure it's difficult to clean them, but when the room is advertised as a "Mountain View Room" I would expect the view to free of dirt. It honestly looks like they haven't been washed in 6 months, at least.

These issues were minor in my opinion, but because of them, I cannot in good conscience rate this hotel as better than mediocre with 3 stars.

I'm sure they will get these issues taken care of - at least I hope so, because my company will probably continue to book is here for future business trips. It would be nice if this hotel got back to the standards it had in the recent past.

Great rooms and services. The price that I got a room for was good and transport to the other side of the bay is fairly easy to grasp and is cheap. Only 1 washing machine and drier though

I am crying as I am writing this review not only because I'm enraged but because I feel disgusted. I booked a 3 night stay through Expedia. Since the first moment we checked in, the person at the front desk try to charge my card for the full amount although the reservation had been paid in full. Once fully checked in my family and I get knocks on our door asking if we had just checked in to find out the computer was faulty during the registration and it was not completed. On the third night we try to access our rooms but our access cards did not work. When I go the front desk i I'm treated so bad by Jamal Brooks to the point that the police gets called because I refuse to allow them to charge my card again. He yells and screams that the police will put us out. After seeing my son scared and cry I agree for them to charge my card it was then that they realized that they mistakenly applied my charge to another room. My husband was offered a free night which in no way compensates what my family just went through. I am enraged and will make sure what just happens gets all the way to corporate

The no continental breakfast was a bit of an inconvenience as there was no other food place sound and the restaurant was overly priced. Aside from that, the hotel was clean and inviting.

Easy to get to, clean rooms and friendly staff. Consistent with what I expect from Hilton. Parking is all surface level and uncovered which was disappointing for the cost but not a major negative. Note to those staying on the 12th floor they rent out the above space to parties so don't expect quiet until 10:30pm at the earliest.

This place is one of my least liked hotels. My initial reservation was for 2 joining rooms; one room to include 2 queen beds, booked nearly 2 months in advance. Upon our arrival, we were given 2 separate rooms with 1 queen bed each. There is no complimentary breakfast and parking was $17 per vehicle.

Went to the Makeup show and it was nicely setup. One of their employees of a different color didn't want to answer our questions he just stared at us. Place was too small for the many strollers with babies in there.

Nice hotel, lobby area and bar. Enjoyed the afternoon snacks and complimentary coffee in the morning. Beds were comfy, clean rooms. Nice view of the Bay Bridge and city. Close proximity to Berkeley and Oakland airport.

Rm 623 is close to the ice machine but it wasn't too loud or distracting when the fan is on from the A/C. The bay view is mostly obscured by the other nearby hotels, but still gives you a good view of the bay bridge. The beds are quite comfortable too.

The room wasn't quite as nice as it looked online, but it was comfortable. It's a shame they don't wash those windows often enough. We watched San Franciscos firework show from our room through dirty windows...

Typical Hilton Garden. Clean safe area. Seems like the remodeling never ends. If you are a Hilton Honors member and reach Diamond status, there really is not much for perks which is disappointing as you are really not acknowledged. Make sure that they don't give you a room on the very south end of the building on any of the floors as it is compressed from the emergency exit and the rooms are extremely small.

Horrible place was there less than an hour coming from California to do work . Van stolen with $15000 in tools and liabilities on there end ! Wouldn't help with any camera footage! Jacuzzi was out all weekend . Horrible experience never come back !!!!!!!!!!

Was given a room that hadn't been serviced and returned from lunch prior to checkout to the made servicing my room. $17 for parking was waived. I'd expect a little better from a hotel of this class. Was otherwise a good visit.

What I'd expect of a HGI property. Helpful friendly staff. Clean room. Good restaurant. My gripe is why is there only one washer/dryer for a hotel of this size. Makes no sense to me. My stays are 7-9 days because of the nature of my work. Annoying to have to wait in line to do a load. I just don't get it.

I came here for a meeting the place looked nice and was clean we had over 300 guests who weren't quiet, it was a union meeting, they didn't great upset and the bar made a ton of money but it was an enjoyable experience and I hope to do it again.

Much like your average high class hotel stay. Very good service. Nice, clean rooms. Location is convenient as it connects to most major highways and is close to most things one needs.
