Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. It was clean and had pretty luxurious furnishings. Pretty close to the city and quite a bit cheaper than staying in San Francisco for quality of stay.

I am aware of an employee of this hotel who's selling customers private information and credit card numbers. I am 100% certain of this, and I will be giving the name to someone who will definitely do something about it.
Otherwise I loved it and I will definitely be willing to return for another stay.
Hotel rooms are good but bad internet and less tv channels.
Front desk -amazing
Breakfast service - amazing
House keeping - amazing
Rooms - pretty good.
Parking fee - would be nice not to have it.
They got laundry here -
All is for a 5 start rating.
But oh boy.... the bar... wow. Went to eat there twice and both times ( two different bartenders) were giving me a favor on serving me. The first night the bartender was simply inattentive, despite having only 3 guests at the bart. The second night- was better. You show up- there is 0 rush to get to you. Like 0. No smile per greeting. I say thank you - person walks away( every time). I ask for tomato bisque - no crackers. I ask for crackers- he brings them along with my main dish... like thanks. Let me eat on my soup and see the other dish cool down. I mean and if the bartender was at least polite ...never asked how my food was, whether I needed anything else. Like honestly, I am so sorry I showed up at the place that you work and your work is providing Guest service. And when you travel for work two - tree weeks in a roll, have plenty to be done- I don t really come here to meet you and make friends with you, but can I at least get some decent service ? Maybe I don t appear to be important enough to you, but do I really need to warn you upon greeting that I am actually hilton honors member, and probably stay at Hilton more than half of your men in suits at the bar?! Not one polite word, not one smile, not one question on how is everything .
Thank you for your pleasant and welcoming service, truly made me feel like home. I think I will make sure to grab a sandwich from the gas station across the street until the rest of the week that I am here
The hotel: the walls are very thin so you can hear everything happening in the hallways. However, for the price, you cannot beat the location. The rooms themselves are decent and very comfortable and I felt like we were in a safe area.
The staff: completely incompetent. Checked in, went to room...room had people SLEEPING in it. We went back to the front desk and informed them the room was in use but they told us, "No, that room is clean."..."Well the keys you JUST gave us that let us INTO the room you assigned us...were for a room with people in it." So odd. Additionally, we asked the front desk where the closest BART station was and the gal informed us it was just a couple miles from the hotel and they had a shuttle that would take us there "whenever you need!" I even clarified with her, "Whenever we need a ride, they can take us?" "Yes. And it's complimentary." Awesome! We headed up to our new room, unpacked and came back down requesting the shuttle but another staff member said the shuttle only runs Monday through Thursday. This staff member happened to be standing right next to the first staff member that told us about the shuttle originally - I don't know how she completely forgot to mention that or why she even suggested that there was a shuttle for us when we checked in on a Friday.
HOWEVER, we figured out there is a FREE Emeryville shuttle that picks you up right outside the hotel that will take you to the McArthur BART station. It's just about a 20 minute ride.
Pretty good hotel. nice rooms maybe a little bit tight, and it's paid parking.
The hotel is in a good location but not the most convenient for public transportation. Service was great, although the check-in process took some time.
Hotel is clean with good service, however the amenities are lacking. Bar opens at 4pm and no food except breakfast during the weekend. Great breakfast selection, both hot and cold. The coffee was the worse i have ever had. Not many good restaurants in the area. The highway noise is constant, they do provide earplugs. (Ask for a non roadside room) Shopping is close by in downtown Emeryville.
Nice hotel, the "mountain view" rooms are very loud due to the freeway close by.
I like the place because it's very close to the ocean and the view is lovely well the view I had was the highway and all of Emeryville which was even more lovely especially at night The price was $109 because I found them a hotels.com, so the tax altogether was $375 which is still really good The room was clean I like that they had an LG TV, so I can hook up my video game consoles. Their bed was very soft although I did not like their comforter and sheets they were very thin The bathroom was lovely but they had an eco-friendly water saving toilet so you had to flush it six times or more, to remove everything out of the bowl they were doing renovations but even with the renovations they tried their best to help out their guest. It was a relaxing trip and I quite much enjoyed it I'm planning more more trip not to this hotel but to another one so I think hotels.com for having them on there and finding them easily
Very clear, friendly staff. The rooms are set up like a small one bedroom aprt.
This is a great hotel - I've stayed there 4 times this year, so I have a decent amount of experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful! It's also walking distance from a lot of restaurants and shopping centers, which is a plus. Rooms are always very clean, and the 24-hour pantry is great if you forgot to pack any toiletries or just want a snack. I've never been to the bar downstairs, but it looks like a nice place to grab a drink - especially if there's a game on.
They're remodeling the downstairs right now, and I can tell it's going to look great when it's finished. The only negative I can say is that the elevators always take forever to get to your floor - But if that's the biggest gripe about your hotel, then it's pretty darn good!
This is my preferred place to stay when I come to Emeryville. Never had a bad experience.
Looking forward to spent a night or two with my wife and family in this prestigious five star hotel in the Bay Area.
Friendly staff at the front desk. Was even given a must see/eat list by staff that was very helpful as I was new to the city. Clean area, got an upgrade with our military rate. Beautiful view. Boyfriend & I spent our anniversary here. Beautiful lobby. They even text you during your stay to see if you need anything. Although the iron didnt work, it took 2 days to get a replacement for our room.. good choice on breakfast, can order your own omelette/eggs. Fresh fruit, etc. Walking distance to Trader joes, local gas station, public market and Ross. Beautiful, safe running routes with views of both bridges.
The general manager was super awesome and knowledgeable. I love how professional the entire staff is. Has to be top down modeling by management.
Nice and convenient location right on the Bay obviously. A solid Hilton expetience. There is a daily charge for parking to be aware of that is currently $17.
Very pleasant. Cheaper and in a better location than the hotels near by. Really happy I had my parents stay here than the other spots
Convenient location for San Fran with much lower rates than the city. Has it's own bar and restaurant plus you can walk to other eateries with water views. Rooms are well equipped with very comfortable beds.
Love the play on San Francisco when its actually not in SF but across a bridge and the massive body of water. What I did like was the $15/night parking, the service both at the bar and registration, convenience to freeways and overall cleanliness.
Rooms are clean and modern. Bay view was slightly obstructed by dirty windows. Lobby is nice lots of sitting areas, bars, restaurants and a small store for midnight snackers or small amenities. This location does not have valet parking. Took one star off because of loud music in a near by room or event hall.
Stayed here on my first time to San Fran area for a work trip. Rooms were OK. Hotel as a whole seemed a little outdated and needs a refresh. Breakfast was $17 for crappy buffet. Nice views of the bay and associated port infrastructure. Close to gas station / convenience store for late night snacks.
This place is modern and in a fantastic location. I went there for a recruiting event with the Airlines.
Coffee, tea, and water were provided and later in the evening cocktails were served with appetizers. Great wine, great food.
There is a small kiosk in the lobby. There is a bar area and outside area to sit in as well.
Again, location, location, location!
Great clean hotel, but a little bit beat up. Windows drapes with holes and discoloration in the shower. If you can get the room with bay view, other side is very noisy facing the freeway.
The location was easy to find and near a gas station and Denny's. The room was clean and smelled nice. The service at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable.
Personnel is nice. Rooms are great. Near great restaurants
Nice room. Good service. Paid extra for the bay view but didn't realize the windows would be so dirty on the outside. I understand the outside windows would be hard to keep clean on a 12 story building but I wouldn't have spent the extra money for it if I knew what I was paying for.
SF is a Beautiful city and the Hilton garden inn is the place to stay
Newly renovated. Clean. Bright. Easy to get in n out. Close to the mall across the freeway.
The breakfast isn t that great but it s okay.
Staff is friendly and check in is quick.
The prices here are high but it s convenient.
Bathroom lighting was dark. Wish the bathroom had an exhaust vent. However, great location- right off the freeway with easy access to the bay bridge leading into San Francisco, the hotel is very clean, great staff, ample parking (paid parking).
The hotel is the best in the area is better than the couyard since the rooms are more luxurious and have microwave and in the couyard there.
The hotel is clean. The rooms are a bit small and the beds are a bit hard. Staff is polite. The Keurig and refrigerator are a nice addition.
The rooms were very clean and well kept. The hotel staff were on point and they made checking in a breeze. The location is not hard to miss and the parking was plentiful. I would stay here again if I had to.
They really screwed up my check in, somehow, they tried to give my room away again because I want checked in properly. Then they billed funny. Good beer in the bar.
Better price the in San Francisco, however, the beds are like sleeping on the floor. They make you pay for parking, they do not offer free breakfast. Instead they have a buffet for 18. By the way there is a Dennys very close by.
Good location, very clean rooms with microwaves inside each and very nice staff
Rooms are small but clean. Staff in the front desk are not that welcoming... They dint give us information about anything that they offered.. Dint even tell us where our room was.
Horrible. Noisy. Windows out of a cheap 1950's motel. Woken at 3:30 a.m. everyday by delivery and garbage trucks. Everyone passing in the hall could be heard. One night 30 people fooling around in the hotel at 3:00 a.m. It took 1.5 hours to get them removed. Breakfast: only breakfast is a full all you can eat 15 dollar breakfast. No shuttle service. Taxi to downtown is 40 dollars and they have almost no service to the BART and none on the weekends. Dirty: whirppool is filled with all sorts of disgusting things and in the week I was there, it was not cleaned. Limited dinner menu, no restaurants in the area. Very poor TV selection, etc, etc. There is no end of the problems. I would never stay in a Hilton hotel again, my experience was so horrible
The rooms are beautiful, with a view of the bay. The staff is friendly and sociable, service was great
I loved this hotel and would come back without hesitation. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was great.
Great food. Had some vegan things besides salad which I appreciated!
Good view of San Francisco bay if you get a high enough floor
Kiara working the front desk is very rude, she has the worst attitude and a constant frown, she racially profiled me when I checked in. I am more than positive she reported my card or the reason I was unable to get another reservation while I was staying there. She has NO right to judge a book by the cover, equality begins when BLACK people treat each other right. She took way to long to validate my parking. Probably took a photo copy to send to other hotels. Im glad you a job Kiara but humble yourself. That stank act isn't classy nor is it necessary .
Working with Kristina in the events department has been awesome! So accommodating and helpful.
Meh. Below average Rooms with basic Amenities missing. Should have booked a different Hotel.
14 story hotel next to a bayside park. Convenient access to major freeways and the bay bridge. 12 miles from Oakland airport. $50 taxi fare. Clean, nicely appointed rooms. Buffet breakfast with some cooked to order items. Nice selection of prepared items. Helpful and friendly staff. $17 per night for parking.
Great view of the bay and bridge. Convenient location and friendly staff!
If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit HotelBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
Great rooms and services. The price that I got a room for was good and transport to the other side of the bay is fairly easy to grasp and is cheap. Only 1 washing machine and drier though
Very nice place .. great staff... location location location
Clean room. Good friendly staff. Good location with a variety of restaurants and things to do close by
When I arrived they said my room was not ready and they did not know if it would be ready that day but it was not due to any fault of theirs. They worked hard to find me a room that I would be okay with and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I downgraded my room and it worked out fine. The staff was very pleasant throughout our stay and I would definitely go back again.
Limited channels on tv, shower needed an update but staffed was very nice and accommodating
Love it there, friendly service, beautiful meeting room, very accommodating
It is a nice place to stay and to have a meeting at
A good location, but the rooms badly need a refurbishment because they aren't up the standard of other Garden Inn's.
No sound insulation at all. To the front you have the freeway, to the rear a loading dock which is active at night and a refuse area which is collected by refuse trucks early. This wouldn t be so bad if it didn t sound like they were actually in your room. But it does. So it is.
My 8am leaf blower wake up call is a particular delight.
The breakfast is poor, the internet worse. I hate this hotel.
Enjoyed staying here. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
It was renovation time when I checked in. Friendly staff, clean but older rooms, noicy due to close by freeway. Good location though ..
Reservation was in the wrong name but was helped out. Great service!
Room is pretty good, but is a bit small for multiple people to fit in.
