Bad parking...dirty windows for bay view room. Both of us had allergic reaction to the room. Not impressed.

I stayed for a professional event, and found the hotel satisfactory in all regards.
Pros: The (1 bed) room was clean and had plenty of space and amenities for me (alone). The local area is fairly good for walking, and I am sure that Uber and Lyft users will have no issue in getting around. The fitness room isn't bad.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is not to be touched without a voucher, unless $20+ breakfast plates are your norm. They won't give a price until the check comes. If you casually leave clothing out (such as on a chair or table), cleaning crews will put it almost hidden behind TVs and chairs, usually beneath extra pillow cases. The internet may be sufficient on a good day.
It's not bad.
Came here for an Event, Close to downtown Emeryville, Ocean View, Parking is not free
If you book a room you really have to find out if there is any other charges, parking, resort fee and room deposit.Your bill could be alot more than you think
A nice well decorated place but the breakfast was just so so.
Left something in my hotel room and was told that I could not get it back. Instead I would be forced to pay to have it shipped to my house if I really wanted it back.
Dinner at the restaurant. Beautiful view of the Berkeley Marina.
Good and clean hotel in a good location with a nice hotel bar
The room is clean. Staff is courteous. Parking is secure. Currently they are remodeling, but construction is during the day when we weren't there.
Great access to Oakland, Berkeley and SF and comfortable rooms. I liked that the gym had more than enough ellipticals, treadmills and a recumbent bike. I personally skipped the breakfast inside in favor of the Denny's two blocks away.
Very bad customer service, not friendly at all. Did not even greeted us. Climate control does not work properly. We got sick the whole stay there. Never going to stay there any more!
Nice accommodations. Friendly and professional staff.
Awesome hotel, right next to where I work for business travel. Can't be beat, bar is jice, restaunt is nice, great free public transportation nearby. Etc. Steak at the in house restaurant is excellent, and is conveniently located next to a small grocer and restaurants in Emeryville. Right on the NE side of the bay bridge, minutes drive/ride to San Francisco.
The microwave was so old it had a rotary dial timer
The hotel was clean enough and the staff was friendly. It is loud, which wasnt a problem for me, but light sleepers might have a harder time. They do provide ear plugs.
Nice hotel.I would've gave them a 5star just that when returning from being out n about ready get to rest and sleep ...we couldnt get into my room....(the card key deactivated...) Had to go twice down to front desk. Young lady from front desk helped us get into room she apologized and gave us complimentry breakfast...nice of her( that made up for the lil struggle of getting into our room)...thank you hilton employee! Room is nice clean slept comfortable... Parking there is a fee $15 . You get go in and out all that day at end of stay drop card key in box. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD! Buffet style , waitress friendly and always there for any needs..Great place to stay!
Rooms and service like every other Hilton however, the WiFi was pathetic. Could not load even my emails. Had to use my phone's data plan to connect to the internet then.
Great view, but a little outdated compared to other Hilton properties
Nice place with a good restaurant and comfortable beds. Hard to really judge overall since they are undergoing renovations (lobby closed) , but still had everything I needed. Besides, with online check-in and digital key, you don't even need a front desk.
Simple, but people are friendly and the service is good. The beers in the bar haven't changed in 5 years.
The room was small, the internet was super slow even after paying for it, and house keeping was loud and annoying starting at 8 am. Front desk didn't care. I moved to the Sheraton and all my problems were solved. After five days at the Hilton, the Sheraton was like a spa. Below is the internet speed at Hilton and internet speed at Best Western.
The hotel was well clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic. Would stay again.
Great location and the renovation suits this place well. Short trip to (not over) the Bay Bridge.
Always a good experience when I have come into town for business; working from my room and catching the view is great. Also watch for their deals on various apps and that only makes the stay more of a blessing.
A good location for access to Oakland/Berkeley. Rooms are nice. Good views of the mountains and the bay as well.
The Hotel is good... But is not a good location to be honest.
Attended a meeting on the 14th floor. Nice Bay Views and courteous staff.
The rooms are clean and spacious. We picked a bay view king. Has really nice views. Bathroom is big. We went to the bar downstairs and I had the pepperoni flatbread which was a rip off. It was a super overpriced microwave pizza. Nothing flatbread about it. The bartender lady with long black hair was rude and constantly left. There was an African American gentleman to my left who ordered a drink and she was super rude to him also. She just seems like she hates her job and doesn t want to be there. Gerardo helped us most of the night thank goodness. He was funny and helpful. He literally had to do her job most of the night we were sitting there. She mainly stayed with the single men down at the end of the bar. Not many beers on tap. Just 4. No domestics. The ceaser salad was good. But if you wanted to add protein it was an extra $10. The hotel smelled clean and had plugs on the lamps for charging things. Had a work table and chair and the normal fixtures. We would stay here again!
Visited many times. Always a favorite in the Bay area. Great service and good food nearby.
... hotel typical Hilton ... the ladies at the front desk nice and helpful ... the gentleman in the morning should work on his friendliness a little bit "and his arrogance off ... a pity the stay a bit clouded. ... therefore 2 stars deducted
I have been to other Hilton property, and I must say, the staff here are very accommodating. Breakfast is excellent. Location is beautiful as well.
I personally loved the location of the hotel it was within perfect walking distance from great stores and offered a great experience to get awau from home.
I spent the weekend trying to find the perfect place for relaxation. The room had a odor like sewage they gave me a spray. It took me three attempts to get a room change.
Nice room and location. $15 for parking but parking is not free anywhere in this area. Bed was comfortable and staff is accomodating and met all expectations.
Large clean units, great helpful service. Happy guest, would stay at again
Service was great! Staff was very pleasant and check-in/checkout was quick. The rooms are clean and well kept. It was a great stay!
This hotel is not trucker friendly. It leads me to honk what else are they not friendly about?
The worst Hilton I've ever stayed in. The service was appalling - they called me in the morning (at 6am) twice because a taxi driver supposedly gave my room number but did not have my name; they called a random room without checking if the person had just made it up. Furthermore, they charged me twice for my stay and did not bother to correct it - I was charged for six nights instead of three. Hilton did not correct this either, I had to challenge it through my credit card. Thankfully my credit card sorted it out. If you want to stay in this area of Emeryville (which is not great), stay at the marriot nearby. If you want to stay at a hilton, check out the one by Oakland Airport.
Hotel is close to the highway and you can hear the traffic in your room. You also have to pay for parking. The hotel does have a great smoking area for people that smoke. The food was ok. Overall a pretty good hotel
Great room for the price and location! Nice typical clean room, we do not use any hotel amenities, we sleep and shower then do our tourist thing! This location is very convenient and easy to get to/from San Francisco if your needing this price of a room for your budget. Great view of the bay just a 1/2 mile from hotel. Very close to dining and shopping in Emeryville. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
Nice place, good view of the bay, convenient location next to the interstate
Conveniently located across the bridge to San Francisco. Got a beautiful sunset view from the room. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Elevator broke down while we were there. Other than that great hotel
Double Double room was adequate, staff was super nice. Anastasia at the bar was the best part. Sad to hear that she wasn't able to make it in the last night of my stay (Sending lots of positive vibes your way!). I'd stay here again, but book much earlier for a king suite.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, great price for the Bay Area.
Gave 3stars instead of 5stars only cause there was a bad leak from the air conditioner, the front desk was aware of it yet they didn't put us in another room
Location is convenient to access the Bay Area. Comfortable suites and conference rooms.
Staff are so accommodating and rooms are great! Very comfy stay.
Hotel is very nice, beds are a little small, but comfortable. The shampoo is good and always get clean towels.
Good staff. Rooms do not seem to be Hilton standard
Good rooms and close location to SF. Good value for rooms and parking (17$). Has bar and good breakfast.
Spacious room and friendly cleaning staff. Nice overall!
The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Special thanks to the manager Jamal! He made sure we had a good experience. The front desk ladies were kind and helpful too. The breakfast was good and the servers were very courteous. The gym was big enough and well equipped for a morning workout with a nice outdoor hot tub. Overall, great price and good location, a short drive to downtime San Fransisco.
The two stars is because part of the night staff was great and the food actually was good. HOWEVER, those aren't the main reasons I stay at a hotel. The room needed some cosmetic work, but that's ok. The pillows, however, smelled awful - musty and gross. I think someone left them in the washer for a couple of days without drying them. The restaurant was closed, so room service (and the accompanying additional expense) was my only option. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Lastly, when I reported the smelly bedding to the front desk in the morning, the gentleman at the front desk was snooty acting like such a complaint was beneath him. This used to be my go-to Hilton property when staying on the East Bay, but I think this will be my last time. It's just not worth it. My 3 nights in a low-budget Holiday Inn earlier this week were much better.
Cozy rooms with mountain, street, bay bridge or Creek view.... Comfortable and easily accessible. Breakfast choice is limited for both veg and non veg people...
Great location, easy to find. Great rooms and great views.
Not trying to be harsh here. My room is next to a bunch of drunken folks. Have to tolerate them for the entire night.
Excellent structure, attention to detail and professional staff, good value for money.
It is nice here but they need better dinner choices.
Been here before... The rooms are satisfactorily... Hotel staff very professional and courteous,,,, always enjoy my time here
