The registration process was quick and easy and the room was mostly clean. The staff was barely friendly. They do not offer a complimentary breakfast but a restaurant is part of the facility. Had to pay $17.00 to park one night. The room More

All staff was helpful. Location was nice, good views. Surprised that the coffee and water in lobby were empty on several occasions during our stay. Furniture in guest room and dining room was due to be replaced.

Great location. Near the beach, shopping centers. There are no safes in the rooms (the restaurant is so-so. I ordered the sturgeon fillet on the grill. I was overcooked, with a bitter charcoal flavor. The staff are helpful and affable.

This is my second time staying at this property. Both experiences have been good. Clean rooms. Good desk staff. Parking is odd and it's not clearly marked where the check in parking is so people plug up the driveway. INTERNET SUCKS! All of their access points operate on the same channel so they crash frequently.

The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff are all very helpful as well (including the cleaning staff)! The only issues that we have encountered was that the water in the shower took longer than expected to drain, and also the complimentary internet is not very good.

When I walked in the guest service said hello so then I asked where my event, miss teen pageant event, took place and the servicer politely told where it was and how to get there. I am satisfied with my experience, I loved the quick and short distances.

The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful! The hotel was also clean and we had a great view. The staff was very high quality and I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area!

I attended a conference there and the hotel was lovely. I was specifically in the Top of the Bay room and it had a lovely view. My one complaint is that the parking lot is a bit confusing.

Low water pressure in the rooms. Half the items on the menu were not currently available, including sti- called specials. And to top it off, the main bartender kept on disappearing for long stretches of time. The location is great, apparently even Hilton staff recommends that you stay at a Hyatt instead.

This hotel is located at a major crossroads, just minutes from San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley.
A popular shopping center (Bay Street) with restaurants and an excellent movie theater are just across the freeway. The view of the bay is amazing

The hotel is nice and I would have rated higher if not for the $15 per day parking fee. Breakfast buffet is nice but not worth the $17 charge. Hotel has a hot tub, but no pool which I thought was weird.

I wanted to give one star but the room itself had no issues. I travel for business alot and never had to comment or complaint about any of the hotels I have visited. After shopping for me and the team for sometime, we we landed on the Hilton Garden Inn as it was convenient and near downtown Oakland where our event is happening. My stay was for 4 night from Thursday-Monday

My surprise was upon arrival when I found out that the hotel being renovated in the areas of lobby/patio/restaurant/bar/hallways which made it very unattractive to have any business meeting/gathering on site as planned. No doubt the room was okay and clean, but everything else made the use of the hotel amenities not an option!

Management of the hotel texted me to ask if my stay was okay, and I stated the above. All I got in return was a sorry and this will be over in a week!! Nothing in return was offered. Since this was a booking through Priceline which I never used and most likely never will use again, I called them to see if they can help, but they were firm on how this is nonrefundable PER the hotel management, and the renovations were only minor and did not affect the guests visit. I have attached some pictures to compare to the hotels pictures and I will let you be the judge of how minor these look.

During my visit, there was two Weed incidents which flared the place but with Weed smell that lasted all night, i can not say that is the hotel mistake, but for sure it made my visit uncomfortable as well as it took a while before addressing the issue.

I hate to write a bad review but this is a first for me. I felt cheated and not informed. I had to get out of my way to reschedule meetings outside of the hotel. I am not sure if this word will reach anyone, I am very disappointed of how the hotel management handles complaints and how they manage their customer's accoumiditions.

Clean updated room. Friendly staff. Good for an overnight turnaround. There are lots of food options nearby, with an Emery Go Round stop out front that will get you to the BART for free.

Higher end hotel than average. It's located on the road out to the Berkeley Marina. WiFi is free but that is about it for free. Parking lot is about $17 a day!
You can pick either "mountain" view or Marina view. Marina side has nice sunsets.

The room was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The bed wasn't the best, but I think we've been spoiled by an amazing bed at home. Front desk staff was super nice, and even went as far as offering restaurant and transportation choices in the area. One thing that stood out was the Neutrogena body and bath products provided in the room, which was a nice change of pace from the usual off brand generic stuff you find in most hotels.

Great views of the bay bridge!

Great views of the bay bridge!
Awesome breakfast buffet and made to order eggs
The pool is like a Jacuzzi. Super small size. It's outdoors so a little chilly. It is locked up so don't forget your key
A little store to buy stuff like mini snacks and detergent and dryer sheets.
Great location and an awesome Emery go round which is a free community shuttle to get around town provided by the coroporate community! Many mahalos for free transportation in the community!
Stanford university clinic is only a.couple blocks away.
Everything is so close to this hotel

The rooms and service are excellent, the location is good but the transfer to San Francisco is difficult during peak hours, the good part is that it is located near several shopping areas

Pretty nice hotel but the computers in the "business room" run Uniguest which don't allow you to do anything, all I wanted to do was put pictures from my camera to my phone and I couldn't do that

The parking was bad and the windows were super dirty

The internet was extremely slow, even to log in to

Love love love this hotel. Staff is nice, rooms and views are beautiful. I had a room here once that smelled kind of weird but i bought a candle and fixed that problem quickly. Watch the prices on booking, this is the bay area folks. Some days are more expensive then other due to events in the area

I liked this place, kinda fancy, for me at least. The bed was semi comfortable, all white bedding, came into a cool room, has a coffee machine, microwave and little fridge. There's a bar on the main floor, a like snack shop, a fitness center and i think a pool but i never saw it. They have room service too. The front desk we employees were very friendly. I'd love to stay here again.
