Went down to Clearwater for the weekend and got a room at the Hilton. It was the best experience I've had at a hotel! The gentalmen who check us in was very polite and helped us with all of our questions and made us feel at home. From being checked in to the valet and the clean rooms, I would highly suggest this hotel!

This Hotel is beautiful! Check in was a breeze! Our room was clean and comfortable. Our room also had a balcony that overlooked the main sidewalk. Would definitely stay there again!
Inside the Hotel was the Spotted Donkey restaurant. The food (Mexican) was very, very good. Would definitely eat there again!!

Should be called the Covid Hotel. Signs everywhere saying masks are required in the hotel, yet no one wearing masks. And none of the staff enforcing the rules. Only two non family per elevator and have designated standing spots, yet you ll see strangers crowd into elevator and again no one wearing masks. Room supposedly has enhanced cleaning yet there is trash on the ground and obvious the room was not cleaned properly. Dirt everywhere. Fingers crossed they actually cleaned the linen, sure doesn t look like it. My advice, bring plenty of bleach wipes and hold your breath. This is the exact type of place they are talking about as being a breeding ground for covid and who knows what else. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Update, seems like most of the renovations are complete except for event venue. Have temporary tent on beach and towel stand is more just a table. Outside of that, I look forward to it's completion.

This Hilton is going through a remodel, so it may not match the standards of other Hiltons. You can't beat the location. Right on the beach and almost immediately after you cross the bridge. It's one of the few places you can drink on the beach as long as you rent chairs and buy drinks from them. The pool area is really nice with a full bar and servers who will take care of you. The beach has a tiki hut with chairs that make watching the sunset with a cocktail the perfect place to be. Most rooms don't directly face the gulf and if you are on a lower floor, you'll see more roof than you will beach and water.

I'm giving a 5 star only for the great service my wife and got for our 18 year anniversary. Other than that this place was over priced rooms are ok but not worth the price. They dont give you the option to park your own car I myself dont like other people driving my car and when I want to leave having to wait for them to bring it to me . I will never stay there a gain

The location is great, the hotel lobby and grounds are very well kept and clean, staff is friendly. However, for the price, the rooms are not fantastic, the bathrooms are tiny and poorly designed, and with the price, and then have to pay a $25 resort fee, you should not have to pay $25 for valet as well. I'd say the quality of the room was no different then your average holiday inn, just with a way bigger price tag. Disappointed in my stay. :(

This "resort" is way over priced for what you get. The balcony view of the gulf wasnt great. We were on the 7th floor, our view was the roofs below us and in the distance was the gulf. It is so noisy on the balcony from all of the very loud air conditioners. It was not peaceful at all and the views are from the side of the building. The breakfast is WAY over priced. And you have to pay if you want to use a beach chair or umbrella which will cost about $50.00 per day. Parking is $25.00 per day and the "resort" fee is also $25.00 per day. They require you to use Valet parking and they keep your key so if you want to leave you have to go find your key and car. The positives are the staff was very nice . The beach area is pretty and the room was clean enough. There are local restaurants that are close enough to walk to.

Nice rooms and nice hotel. Balcony with a partial view of the beach. Nice shower with rain shower head, modern decor, large flat screen TV, desk and sitting chair with automen. Front desk staff was friendly and quick with check in and out. Valet parking only and its $25 a day, not happy about that. Enjoyable stay, would record. Would recommend.

The Hilton is a great venue for weddings. Its the closest resort to Pier 60 which make for great backgrounds for wedding photography. The Sandpiper deck has such a great view.

The staff was great but the hotel lacked amenities and was slightly dated. We paid extra for a beach view and once we got in the hotel room we learned we would first have to look over the roof of the restaurants and all the air conditioning units..big disappointment for porch sitting. Could have saved some money! The main advantage of staying on this property is being able to drink alcohol on the beach. The police were out in full force at other properties asking beach goers to dump their beer etc.

Generally, I love Hilton properties, and as a Hilton Gold member, I go out of my way to support the brand. This property, however, was a big disappointment. First, the service was poor.
The staff wasn't rude, but they all seemed bored/indifferent and none of the staff seemed interested in helping us enjoy our stay of otherwise going above and beyond the bare minimum. At a lower tier Hilton property, that may be fine, but this is touted as a full service Hilton resort, and I expected a lot more. Second, the hotel was filthy. There was garbage all over the hallways in our room corridor, and it just stayed outside the rooms for almost a full day. The room was small and dated, more comparable to a Holiday inn or Best Western. The beach outside was very nice, and the fact the hotel is on the beach is convenient. However, the hotel lacked in all other regards, and I would not recommend this property to anyone. If you want a nice 4-star property, look to the Wyndham nearby--it was much better appointed and the service was commensurate with the brand. Not all Hiltons are this bad, but unfortunately this property is missing the mark.

No joke, the LOCATION doesn't get any better! However, the building should be picked up, rotated 90 or 135 degrees and set back down so most rooms face the beach/gulf. Demo and new construction might make more sense though. The way it is now, over 90% of the rooms primarily face parking lots and/or roofs. Poor planning. *note: SOME gulf or intracoastal water can be seen from all rooms*

First thing I noticed was the room stank, the toilet wasn't cleaned.
There's an air outtake from the room next door, so you can hear talking/showering.
I was really excited for this one because, y'know, Hilton, but after staying at pretty much every other nice hotel on this beach I can safely say this one is the Walmart of hotels.
Bad paint, broken outlet fixtures, there's an inward slope on the balcony resulting in a permanent puddle (???). They don't have bathrobes, even a $200 hotel in Ybor has bathrobes - I could go on but basically this just feels like a trumped up motel. Way too expensive for how abysmal it actually is, with nicer hotels for cheaper right next door.

Our weekend anniversary, we had a high speciation for this hotel, 1st of all very noisy location we had a lot a trouble to get a good night sleep with outside noise like sirens and loud cars/bikes and also noise coming from Hotel hallways all night. Beach chairs are not exclusive to Hotel guests so We had as neighbors about 15 college kids smoking Pot and with their own open bar next to us so we decided to change beach location. Elevator situation with COVID complicated always busy with people and some not even following the social distance recommendations. In addition we found breakfast very basic and super hyper expensive for our buck. We are certain we will not be returning to this Hotel ever.

This hotel doesn't live up to he Hilton brand. The rooms while updated recently we're done poorly. The walls were crumbling and someone decided to put the sink faucet on the side instead of back with a sink that angles up on the side which means it's impossible to get your hands under. The entry was under construction which isn't a huge deal but there was no mention on the website. You have to pay for chairs on the beach...which isn't an issue except they only do full days and not hourly or half. We only stayed one night so arrived at 1 and they wanted to charge for a full day. The pool patio was packed...with towels. Every seat had a towel on it but very few people there. We ended up having to remove someone's towel because the staff refused to assist. The drinks at the pool we're just ok. Overall better off at a different hotel or not in Clearwater.

Unfortunately the hotel was VERY crowded, therefore leaving over 1.5hr wait to get into the pool area (waitlist). Also there was only 2/3 working elevators with another long wait for those. Our room was very clean and the staff was very attentive to any requests we may have needed (a rollaway), extra linens, towels.

Everyone was very accommodating, from Melissa who checked us in and was very helpful to get the room we wanted to Kyle at the cabana rental and everyone in the restaurant. I will definitely come back and even consider CWB as my destination knowing this place is here

The hotel itself didn't impress me as much as I had expected however the staff absolutely won me over. The valet crew couldn't have been more friendly and the young man who delivered our baggage was great! I wish I remembered names because they deserve to be recognized. The pool was very nice especially since we traveled with our 3 kids. I appreciated a shallow walk in pool. It was convenient next to the pier and the beach is beautiful!

I asked for a bay and pier view that is what I paid for..
They put me in room 336 first than moved me to 326
.My view was the construction work being performed at the front of hotel, plus palm trees.
I asked for another room was told nothing was available...
Than Housecleaning manager knocked on my door asking if I had enough towels with security guards??
This morning I asked the housekeeping manager why security
.Response they were just walking by??
Today when getting off elevator, sheriff dept had an officer watching everyone who exited..
I was informed by another employee, jewelry was stolen from a room at the Hilton..
So no.view, sheriff dept at hotel for some reason

Very stressful
I am beginning to think the Hilton frowns on singles as guests..
Not good

I have been to many resorts and hotels and this definitely was a HOTEL. The outside of the hotel is not very appealing but the inside looked newly remodeled. Our room was unbelievably small as well as they only gave us enough soaps for one person when there was three of us. When we got there they told us that there was an additional non refundable $25 charge required (so go ahead and add $25 to your total price) to pay for everything on the resort regardless if you did it or not. The service was slow & at one point the elevators (that were too slow to even use) weren t operating which lead to the use of slightly difficult to find staircases. If you re looking for a decent resort, I would NOT choose this one. It was the worst Hilton I have ever stayed in. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

This place is amazing! Clean rooms that are roomy for beach front accommodations. The customer service is top notch, the pool is beautiful, the pool bar and beach tiki bar have a variety of drinks, and the private beach is stunning. There are daily resort fees and parking fees but the courtesy beach photo shoot was a very pleasant perk. We loved this place and would love to stay here again!

Great location with direct Beach access. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, lots of dining options on site and within walking distance. Note there is a $50/night resort fee for parking and amenities that is not included in online travel site price listing.

Had a lovely time here in December 2020. Hotel was clean, well-maintained; rooms weren't huge, but matched description well. Bonus points for efficient and well-provisioned laundry facilities! Location was excellent, able to wander out on the beach (with chairs/cabanas) directly, and on the other side very close to large number of restaurants plus Walgreens. Dunkin Donuts directly opposite hotel.
Long, sweeping beach with good sand, and even in December the sea temperature was fine long-term without any wetsuit. Breakfast was fine in quality and price. Staff extremely helpful. A+, would totally stay here again.

This place has the smallest toilets I've ever seen in any hotel. Definitely not a standard size felt as if it was a potty for small children. There was also no full length mirror in the room. Please hang your do not disturb sign on the door house keeping woke me up both mornings at 8. And did not return to replace towels or clean room until really late afternoon if not night.

Great place to stay. The beach is on one side and the restaurants and shops on the other which make it very accommodating. Service has been great and the rooms don't feel outdated. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of the additional charges for resort fees and parking fees that should be included in the price

The resort itself is fine. We travel to a lot of Hilton properties and I would say the staff is less friendly than average here. The big disappointment that may sound like a small thing is the resort fee that really doesn't include anything.

You come here for the beach. But if you want to chair, an umbrella, etc you have to pay for it. frankly this should just be included in the resort fee and it's a little offensive. I've never stayed at a Hilton property that does this before. I would prefer they just increase the room rate and include access to the beach.

With a family of five it was an extra $50 a day for a beach chair.
