Lobby has been renovated. Rooms are dated. Beach and pool staff are very friendly. Too restrictive on number of guest in pool area. Your Hilton Honors status does not give you any perks at this location.

Friendly staff; ongoing construction which has some amenities out of service, for example the ice machine nearest our room.

So beautiful and staff is so helpful. They put the browns game on for my husband and he was so ecstatic!

ROACHES not just one but an infestation in the curtains the bed the drawers the shower. I advised the manager of the issue and they did not move or upgrade the room. They sprayed and took care of the issue . Came back from dinner and their were roaches all over the floor. We went down to complain to the front desk and instead of understanding how upsetting it is to have roaches crawling on your belongings and seeing egg sacks they called the police! We spent good money at the bar/restaurant and for the room. Motel 8 would ve been better than this

The hotel is beautiful except for the rooms, which are very dated and in need of repair. The hotel staff is friendly. The hotel is perfectly located directly on the beach and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and dolphin boat tours.

I stayed here one night in a city view with balcony looking out to the restaurants and shops. I was kinda hesitant to stay here, since all the reviews were kinda bashing the place. My room was on the 3 floor... ac worked great
All 3 of my rooms were renovated, the bathroom wasn t as tiny as people had said.
I heard a tiny bit of outside noise. Construction wasn t even heard from any of my rooms. I didn t give it 5 stars since I didn t use any of their amenities. It was a rainy morning the day after.would stay again

Absolutely loved staying here! The beach is gorgeous and the food delicious! There were a lot of different games and events offered on the beach and the pool was kept warmer than a normal pool. When I stayed (December) it was not super busy which was very appreciated. The hotel is located on the strip next to a bunch of shops and restaurants. There are even jet skis on sight that can be rented! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Though the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the policy is not their fault, we've stayed in better with cheaper prices. I unfortunately couldn't get here at my reserved date and still was charged 640.00 for just 2 nights , when we only staying 1 night. We will not ever be back to this hotel ever. I will definitely be reading more into hotels thieves like this one.

Do NOT get a room on the south side "partial view" there's a menacing high pitched peace shattering racket of a recording, that blasts repeating screeching sounds to ward off the birds around the dock area. It's loud and it doesn't stop all day, and it absolutely ruined my ability to enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean from my hotel room. I cannot express this enough. Unless you enjoy blasting repeated shrill noises, avoid this establishment.

Stayed here for one night to celebrate a friend's birthday. Couldn't be more pleased . The rooms were clean , staff courteous. Can't wait to come back

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is right on the beach and the staff is friendly.
Let s start with the room. Our beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable, my family nor I could not sleep at all during the night. Not only were the beds uncomfortable, our toilet was broken! Our toilet would flush on it s own during the night along with making extremely loud noises to which it was almost impossible to sleep through. Along with the beds, Our hotel room was supposed to come with a microwave, but go figure, no microwave.

Leaving the room we figured we would head to the beach, no big deal right? Well getting to the beach was super easy, there is straight access to the beach but there s a catch. If you want to just go to the beach and lay out on ur own towels then perfect. But if u want to rent a cabana the cabanas are anywhere from 50-90 dollars ! And this was with their special deal you also have to buy the chairs separately from the cabana! But anywhere else on the beach away from the Hilton the cabana are cheaper, but it is of course a lot farther walk.

If you want to bring your own alcohol to the beach you can t. Hilton has their own section of the beach, which means you can not bring your own alcohol because they want you to buy from them. Their alcoholic beverages range from 7.50 to 12 dollars. There is also a public part to the beach if you walk through Hilton s part, but there is no drinking allowed on the public beach. And don t think you can sneak a few drinks , they have 2 cars that drive by every 10 minutes to make sure, and they WILL say something, we saw it happen to many people.

The pool area was decent, you are given some rubber bands to wear to show you can be in the pool area but it doesn t really matter because no one checks for them anyways. The water was really warm in the pool, but a plus side is u are allowed to drink and eat around the pool. The water was really clear and clean and the set up was nice. There s 2 pools, one for the children and one for the adults. They also show a movie every-night by the pool around 8 for the kids. But make sure when your heading through the lobby you must have on sandals and a bathing suit cover, it is mandatory at all times.

Another down fall about this place is that there in the description is says something about a complimentary photo on the beach, we did not receive that or were even offered one. The water sports or any of the other water activities mention we re not talked about to us, and the big water slide set up was not working.

In conclusion, we will NOT Be coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you want to have a good time. With all the rules we had to follow , This felt more like a jail, (an expensive one at that) than a hotel.

Although this hotel is in an extremely convenient location on Clearwater beach, it is lacking many upgrades, such as queen-sized beds and ADA toilets. The toilets are literally a foot off of the ground. Cleanliness is definitely not on par with the other Hilton properties. And, even after a day s cleaning, it was not noticeable. The hotel staff members were conscientious and pleasant, though, and they did their best to accommodate you. However, all activities on this resort property are an upgrade to your room charge. There is definitely no bargain here, and you will look long and hard to find quality food on property (possibly with the exception of the Starbucks).

Unbelievably poor service and accommodations from management. We arrived early and asked if our room was ready, fully expecting it not to be. We were okay with waiting. We d stopped on the way in to grab some food since we hadn t eaten since before our flight. We were directed to tables in the bar/restaurant area at about 2:50pm. We sat down to eat and ordered some drinks from the bar. Upon receiving the drinks we were informed that we were not allowed to eat our food in that area, despite specifically being directed there. A manager came out and helped us move into the seating area around the lobby. No reason was given other than it is policy . I reached out to Hilton corporate who immediately called and sent the front end director to interject and again professor that he was very sorry but it s policy. When questioned, he sited liability of people eating in the restaurant.

He went to check and see if our room was ready. Magically one became available. We went up to our room only to find it wasn t even the right room. I immediately went back to inform them that we needed a feather free room, which had been booked and brought up again when we initially checked to see if our room was ready. The only solution was that they would switch everything, which isn t actually feather free. They gave us 50,000 Hilton points to correct the issue. I guess the card sitting in my room that says We ll make it right Doesn t count for much here.

On top of that the room is small, they re doing construction out back, there is no bath tub, and the shower doesn t drain.

Overall, after years of using Hilton for business travel, I ll be making the switch to only Marriott properties from now on.

The worst part is we chose this location because we ve stayed here before and LOVED it.

CLEAN... In the middle of Clearwater lots to do. The Gulf was churned up from storms still. Nothing to do with Hilton though. Staff was very attentive. Aaron our valet was the best he happily offered help with dinner spots, bars and Hilton property layout.

only thing about this hilton is location.Nothing diferent from motel6 stayd there with family couple yers like 11 12 nights. Funny thing and stupid was that 20 bucks extra charge for those things pool ambas. cleaning glassis those funny fruit sticks and 10 bucks for parking. even motel just acros the street is better

This hotel is amazing. The cleaning staff has to be the friendliest and most professional I have ever encountered. They say hi and leave nice notes saying have a great day. I would definitely stay here again. Not to mention the beach is amazing!

Stayed there because it was the featured hotel partner for a blues festival. No one there knew anything about the festival, the trolleys that go up and down the beach, or even where the city's main park was (it's just across the bridge). There are so few staff it seems like the lobby is vacant. The free drinks were watered down punch, and the beachside restaurant wasn't open whenever we went over there. Room was OK, but for the price we could have gone to a nice hotel.

Rooms are tight, but nice location. Valet parking only and they are slow to retrieve vehicles.

Very clean, beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms have been updated very nicely. Staff is friendly, but we were not given our pool bracelets or towel cards, nor made aware of them. We had to ask the front desk for them after hearing other guests talked about having them. Pool is very nice and clean. Beach area is kept very nicely.

This is an older property that has been very nice remodeled. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Tiki bar on the private beach and free towels is a huge plus! I wish the beach lounges and tents were included with the stay, because the rentals are pricey. Food and drinks are great but also expensive. Lots of food and entertainment options within walking distance!

Everyone Provided great customer service. Especially Michelle and Chery (I might be misspelling her name) who helped me with some requests prior to my arrival. Also, Joel, Miguel, Caris, Anjeli and others I can't recall. The Beach was great, the pool as well. The drinks at the pool bar was not my favorite (ordered one the first day which I disliked. The 3rd day I ordered two from a different bartender who was hilarious which made my bf and I enjoy the drinks a bit more and he was explaining the weather in a funny way, again, hilarious). You do have to pay for any chair or umbrella at the beach (a bit expensive). Good restaurants near by. Overall, great experience.

I was really at the hilton hotel accompanying my husband in a work meeting last week and I thought the hotel was very nice the pool is very nice but very clean the staff of the hotel especially the female staff that was in the lobby in the hours of the morning I leave pleasantly impressed the deal with the guest and also the hospitality that I received was wonderful since in the afternoon we went with everyone to walk the beach. What really displeased me was the fact that the male staff of the hotel entered without any permission to the lobby ladies bathroom. I called the attention to the manager and the only thing he told me was that this was his job I found very abusive and quite unpleasant. This had never happened to me at any time.

We came to the Hilton for our 10yr Anniversary and were a bit disappointed that it was raining... however, when we returned to our room, we received a surprise bottle of Champagne and a card!! The attention to detail is amazing and made our trip!!

This was the most disappointing Hilton I have ever stayed at. The first room I was put in had a toilet that made a screeching noise when flushed so they moved me to another room and the light in the bathroom made a terrible high pitched noise when it was on. I was charged for valet parking when it wasn't even available. I was charged a "resort" fee when none of the resort amenities were available. The "private" beach was anything but private. This was an expensive and overrated hotel that I won't be recommending to anyone.

Rooms are lovely but very strong smell of cannabis which carried on for nearly 24 hrs

This is a excellent hotel I recommend very much. It is nice well up kept the rooms are updated.One bad thing about the rooms are they are kinda small. The hotel is right one the beach has it's own private beach with a bar chars and even live music. It is valet only parking is a little expensive but you have no other choice. The pool is nice not the biggest but it's good. Everyone was nice and friendly. Good place

Room was awesome. Went to watch the off shore boat races. Watched them frm the pool bar and grill.

They charge 25.00 and day parking and also 25.00 hotel fee a day. They have construction going on by the pool. The Room was tiny and so were the beds They are not queens Size like stated. Maybe a private beach but you have to pay for everything even a chair at your own hotel. Also no beach view rooms the way the hotel is set up. It was an awesome location and the staff was nice.

The room was kinda small but nice and the pool and being right there at the beach was great I had a nice stay. I love how the pool is in 2 there is one for younger kids or who ever can't really swim or isn't good at swimming and the one for people who are good at swimming it is deeper. My stay was great and I loved I suggest it for someone who is visiting and wants a nice but non expensive hotel

Rooms and bathroom small !! But the beach is spectacular

Just wanted to say how disappointed I was with the hotel. The room I received and had paid extra for was a view of the air conditioner units and the parking lot. If I twisted my neck far enough I could view the beach. Also the balcony was a concrete wall. If you sat down that's all you saw. So over priced!! for what you get. The service and food in the restaurant was below standard. Only ate there once. I would make sure what your getting before you reserve at this hotel.

So expensive. It is nice but not worth the price. There are better beaches and better hotels in the area. Opal sands is worth the price.

Loved my stay! All staff were very nice and friendly! My room was fantastic and I had the best view of the town and the gulf! The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! I will most definitely be returning for a 3rd time!

As a venue for seminars, plan on parking a couple of blocks away and paying $30.

I ll never return. I ll drive an extra 15 minutes to Tampa and park on site for free.

We were advised our stay would coincide with construction, which was not very intrusive. Our service at the cabana and pool was poor compared to our many stays here in the past. The booking staff for the cabana was in training and had no trainer available to help. Then our server neglected to book the cabana with the appropriate amenities. Hopefully this was a one off trip.

Room service was bad. Didn't clean room for more than 2 days. Came only after complaining multiple times.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Clearwater January 6-9 2019. We chose this hotel having stayed here several times before. At check in we were given a room that had not been cleaned yet from the previous occupants. Back to the desk we went, upon explaining the situation the desk clear responded with really? (Like we could make that up) Second room we were given seemed fine with exception to the dog in the next room barking it s head off-hotel policy says no pets. Back to the desk we went, nothing was said about a dog in the next room or an additional inconvenience for us rather they can move us to another room. That room had a very stale odor but we kept the room feeling perturbed about another trip to the front desk. Turns out the room next to ours had 3 small kids that enjoyed screaming, running and slamming doors starting at 5am every morning and continued until 8am. I reported this to the front desk two days in a row to two different desk clerks and all that was said was I m sorry and the subject was changed. Additionally following our first night our room had not been cleaned and it was 330pm. I went to the front desk and was told housekeeping works until 5pm-there s still time but I can put a rush on that for you . The lame apologies and lack of results coupled with a less than clean room have us looking at other nicer hotels on the beach next time we travel to Clearwater. Make no mistake, this is not a glowing review no matter how my words may end up changed by sites such as trip advisor (and they were)

say it up front, the only reason it's getting four stars and not five is because of costly (mandatory) valet parking... other than that I was extremely pleased. lots of cool things for the kids to do.

Location can't be beat. Central and walkable to anything you may want. Could use some updates but overall good place. Staff was really helpful and friendly. You'll have a great day at the Tiki bar if Rachel is your server. She's amazing!

We paid top dollar for a nice room, I woke up and I was itching all over my body... I have allergies when it comes to pets and I asked if they allow pets in the hotel and she responded only service animals which I saw many dogs in the hotel while I was there. I think they must have given us a room that had someone's pet in it. I had a terrible allergic reaction be careful ask for a room that has had no service animals.

Great morning buffet, Nice and kind staff. The hotel have a semi-private beach, very cosy with nice view. Only velvet parking available for 25 dollars per day.
Rooms facing to the south have better views than the other side.

The location is absolutely perfect. Right on the gulf side of Clearwater Beach, the views are beautiful and beach access is easy and kept clean. Within walking distance to several delicious resturants. Great location and I cannot wait to visit again!

Went to the Clearwater Hilton for a wedding. Building and rooms were OK, the price was outrageous for the quality, the only saving grace is the beach access (pool area is actually nice too). Parking is also inconvenient and expensive.

Hotel is directly on the beach but the beach view rooms are set back and you overlook a very noisy lower roof top, Its not peaceful to relax on the balcony. I recommend booking a room facing the Pier 60 Park, you would still see the beach as well.

The are currently under construction so finding the way in could have better signs.

Staff is Friendly and the rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. Shower water temp fluctuates a bit.

Overall pleased with the hotel.

The rooms are small as well as the double beds that we had. The cleaning is excellent and the attention was good. It does not have beach service, which I did not like and what they offer you for the beach is very expensive. If they offer towels. The parking per day costs 25 dollars and the use of the facilities within what is counted to the pool, adds another 25 dollars.

This Hotel is perfection.. the location alone is right in front of the sand and ocean and on the other side tons of restaurants and shops. It has a Starbucks too! It s very secure to enter there are gates everywhere... breakfast was good.. kind of pricey but it s an expensive hotel and great location! At night there are fun shows by the pier as well live music sometimes. My kids loved our mini vacation and we can t wait to go back we are from Orlando! Clearwater s sunset are breathtaking and with all the fun games this hotel offers from corn hole to giant chess it was a blast! Another favorite thing was the outside bar! Mommy and daddy get drinks to relax while the kids play! Loved it

Fine hotel but it's under construction as of this review. Parking was valet only which I personally don't like. But the rooms were fine and the conference space was good. Didn't have time to enjoy the pool or beach unfortunately. Food was okay but not great. Only two elevators were working and the stairs from the lobby to the beach were closed so getting up and down from room to the ground floors was often a big wait.

Location is excellent. Right on beach. Hotel has live music on the beach beside Tiki bar, inside music in their restaurant. Pools were heated and very large. Steps away from reasonably priced stores and restaurants.
I spent 3 hours in their spa which was excellent as all within the hotel. Great time had.

The room was big and our view was nice. We are walking distance from the beach. Since the pool is under construction, the beach chairs are free. We will definitely be back.

Right on the pier, great breakfasts and great beach

Beautiful experience, when checking in I asked if it was possible to get a balcony instead of an interior, a gentle woman at the front desk gave me a complementary ocean view. The view from the room and the restaurant was amazing (check the pictures). Since I was traveling with the whole family, It was great to have the non-motorized water sports included in the fare. The swimming pool area has a pool for kids and one for adults, beyond being convenient, it gives you peace of mind when your kids are young.

A couple weeks ago my wife and I spent the weekend here. Hotel is nice enough. Front entrance has some construction going on, no big deal. Pool area was nice, room was nice. Valet was a disaster. I arrived driving a Tesla. Valet offered to park in a charging station. I didn t realize they had charging stations so I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, they have four. A couple hours after checking in, I noticed the car still hadn t been plugged in. On our way to dinner I stopped by the valet station to ask if they were going to charge the vehicle. I was assured they would do it right away. Cool. Finish dinner (Mexican restaurant at the hotel is no good, by the way) got to the room, check the status of the car and still not charging. Kind of annoying, but whatever. Next day before we head down to the pool, I call the valet to ask about charging the car, I was assured by the girl on the phone it was charging. I knew she was wrong/lying but I wanted to get to the pool so decided I no longer cared if the car got charged that weekend. Later on that day on our way to dinner I cruised through the parking lot to see that not only was my car not being charged it was parked outside, not even in the garage. Again, four Tesla charging stations in the garage. One Tesla vehicle, from what I could tell, at the hotel. Parked outside. Next morning I call down to have the car pulled around, get checked out, head to the valet and spend the next half hour staring at a bunch of inept individuals trying to hunt down the key card. Yes, after all that, they also lost the key to the car. Thankfully with the app we were able to leave, but man I have no witnessed a level of incompetence that high in some time. Left a bad taste from what was an otherwise nice weekend. The hotel manager (or some manager ) called me later to apologize and see what they could do. Told them the least they could do was not charge me the valet fee. And that is what they did, the least they could do. Next time we ll stay elsewhere.

The Hilton is the best location on Clearwater Beach. Next to the peer and across the street from the best shopping.

Location and amenities are perfect. If they get some new beds, I would return. The beds were awful.

The resort was beautiful. It was very clean. It opened right onto Clearwater Beach. The pool was beautiful. The resort sits right next to Pier 60. They honor military and AAA. Will definitely stay again. Would highly recommend..

Nice place right on Clearwater Beach. Has a Tiki bar over looking the gulf!! They also have a nice swimming pool area. Good service and comfortable beds, too. Walk out the back and you're right on the beach.
