Hilton Columbus at Easton Review

The rooms had a lot of space and we're very clean. Great experience

This topic has been very necessary to me this week. I live in the Charlotte NC area. My only sibling had a motorcycle accident last Sunday and has been hospitalized in Columbus OH. I chose a full service property when I came north to see him specifically to increase the likelihood of finding a makeshift food option after complete days at the hospital. I found one - and yes, it's a ghost town. So I engage the staff in conversation, keep a smile on my face and tip very well as a way to say thanks and I support you. And I'm in no way wealthy. So thank you Hilton of Columbus at Easton. I'm very grateful you were here!

Undergoing renovations which limited the appeal. For $250 a night I've stayed in much nicer rooms.

I was just here for a meeting in the lobby, but the amenities there are excellent.

Even though construction was going on at the time of our stay, the hotel was clean and still Hilton-like.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was very nice. I really don't have much to complain about when it comes to this property, I over all had a really good experience.

I was only there for a meeting, however, very pleasant experience. Visually appealing, clean, friendly staff.

We went for the Friday seafood and hot buffet at The Dining Room inside the Hilton at Easton. The all you can it sushi spread makes the buffet worth it, in and of itself, but they also have plenty of other options; ranging from raw oysters and crab legs to prime rib. We just learned that they are planning renovations at the end of July through November. So if you want to experience this awesome buffet (only offered during Friday dinner times), I would highly recommend making a reservation for sometime this month.

We stay here every year for Pelotonia and we all agreed that they have lowered the standards. Rooms would not get cool enough, even the beds did not seem as comfortable.

Hotel is beautiful. Very disappointed that I paid for an upgrade for "city view" I should have stayed at old faithful #Mariott but wanted to try #Hilton for the first time. Staff was great. Just over paid by $80 for "city view".

Nice large, well furnished rooms. Recently renovated. Friendly staff. I would stay here again for sure. Lots of shopping and dining in walking distance.

Nice place great staff but they can't even put a water in the fridge on the house

The location is second to none. The staff was extremely helpful. Showers were very nice, and the rooms were updated and well maintained. I just wish that they had bigger pillows for the bed, but something that small pails in comparison to the overall stay.

Second time in a month I have stayed. First time upon checking into room, garbage left on floor, food crums, globs of other people's hair in bathroom shower and floor, and smeared nasal contents on the sink . I want given another room and free desert and wine they then charged me for. I had to call and request the charges be taken off. The second room I was moved to had hair still in the shower but did not find that out until the morning as I was in shower.

Before booking this hotel agin I spoke to Kathy and was promised she would track my upcoming visit and ensure room was clean.

Second time upon checking was assured room would be clean. Hair on floor in bathroom and in shower, and finger prints all over silver light fixtures. House keeping is a total disgrace! Will not spend another night here again! I have video of room cleanliness both times. I am sure I am being more critical the second time. But other people's hair is beyond disgusting.

I have been moved again to accommodate my request for cleanliness.

Had a recently remodeled room, absolutely gorgeous. Was comfortable, beautiful area, right next door to the beautiful Easton area with all the restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

It is a comfortable hotel.
Although the building itself is old, the interior is very beautiful because it has been renovated.
Breakfast is buffet style, but it can be made by ordering waffles (omelet with scrambled eggs).
It's a huge omelet when you put all the contents in it, so you'll be full.
Coffee is provided in pots, but it is a very undrinkable amount, but it has a take-out cup, so you can transfer it and take it home.
Adjacent to Easton Mall, you can walk to food and shopping.
As it is near from airport, it is very convenient location when we leave by early morning flight.

Great hotel with a fair price and the location is next to everything that you could want, the staff is friendly, and although it might be a luxury hotel for me it worked out beautifully.

The heated pool was not heated at all. Room was fine, but never got the extra pillows we asked for. Service were not great here. Have had friendlier service at other brand hotels.

Clean, nice location, normal size rooms. Would stay here again!

We had a hamburger this evening at a self serve deli. The hamburger cost $17.00, that is ridiculously high for a bacon cheese burger, then we ordered a single pint of ice cream, it as $12.00. This is like New York prices. Stay away from this hotel.

I have been to this Hotel on many business trips. It is located in a huge outdoor shopping area called Easton.The hotel has a colonial Georgian architecture design to the outside. They have recently remodeled the lobby and restaurant area. The remodel is very open and metropolitan. The staff is top notch and if something is wrong they will take care of it. When I'm in the Columbus area I prefer to stay here. Everything you need is right nearby.

Good hotel, nice atmosphere, and a good place to host a convention or if you want to be in Easton

Beautiful hotel. Great location. No complaints at all.

I wouldn t stay here if you paid me. Poor hotel management and security issues by Jack Foy. Asked to speak to a manager about Jacks behavior and was not even able to talk with a manager.Would give it a negative number if possible. Much nicer and friendly places to stay in Columbus.

The ballroom looked great, food was good, and servers were great.

Excellent drinks, but the bartenders seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall I would say it's an excellent bar, and the staff are likely much better than my one experience.

This Hilton is beautiful and luxurious, definitely worth a visit if you plan to stay not downtown.

Beautiful hotel. Clean, updated and friendly staff! We live in Columbus but went for a staycation, walked around Easton and enjoyed entertainment and lots of awesome restaurants. The Hilton was a great choice, right in the middle of all the fun!

The new room was very clean and modern. The bathroom was well-lit and big.

Who has been writing their reviews and giving them five stars? unbelievable small room for $300 per night the ATM did not work all the ice machines were down the instant we checked in no ice machine. it took a long time for room service to bring us a glass a bowl of ice and a bowl they are pet friendly and they do have a five-star breakfast everything else was unbelievable the room was Dusty the maid attendance did not speak English they had no idea what we were saying when I needed a little more shampoo.

Newly remodeled rooms are very modern and spacious. Great location. Definitely recommend!

Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Very professional environment.

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. They have clearly put alot of attention into the decor and atmosphere. The room however was honestly not what I expected. We travel to Columbus frequently and usually stay at the hilton at Polaris parkway. Our room has always been spotless. Our room at easton was not well cleaned. The beds were fine but every surface was dusty, the in room menus had food on them, and some of the light bulb lamps were burned out. The counter tops had finger marks that werent cleaned off and under the beds were food and other particles that has also not been cleaned. If we didnt normally have such a better experience at the Polaris hilton I dont know if it would have been quite as big a deal, but for almost double the price you would expect more care put into the housekeeping. Sad to say because the location is very nice and lobby area beautiful, but we wont be staying here again.

I would not stay there again. The room was definitely not clean! It was an average hotel room at expensive prices. The Starbucks was awful they were rude and the coffee was awful tasted more like something the coffee maker in the room would make. Checking in was not pleasant and told us not to use the garage had to call later when we couldn't find any parking and were told we could park in the garage.

The hotel is fresh and clean, great bar, wonderful rooms. Good shower. This is my choice now for staying in Columbus. Great price for such a beautiful hotel.

The stay at the Easton Hilton was great. The staff was friendly and serviceable. The room was clean. The TV and bed were both huge. Only gripes were the toilet kept running long after I flushed ( I ecen once had to remove the back), and there were no towels in the bathroom. Other than that it was great.

Had better with hilton, whatch out for bill add-ons you did not purchase

That hotel was very well kept, the service when they provided lunch was less than expected. At time people attending the conference had to wait in line for someone else to replenish the food.

Fairly expensive, but the price is worth the comfort, amenities, sevice and style of the hotel. Also the hotel is located at a location that it enables you to hit some spots in the area within walking distance.

It's a beautiful hotel, except for the elevators are beat up. It was one of the more comfortable beds I'd slept in, in any hotel. The check in/out and wait staff were all extremely friendly & I'd be happy giving a solid 4.5 stars except that the experience was tainted by our experience in the bar, or rather the bar patio. We'd just spent over $100 in the bar and were enjoying our drinks on the patio couches with the fire and watching football. We were clearly watching football and they staff unplugged the TV and started packing it up. We protested and they restored service. Ten minutes later they did it again, this time accompanied by someone wearing a jacket--likely some sort of supervisor--who did something surprising--he proceeded to argue with my brother-in-law. This is not an inexpensive hotel or bar, where guests have a reasonable expectation of amenities. This was pretty disappointing.

Excellent accommodation. Only complaint is I paid extra for a room with a view. The room was on the fifth floor, but the window bottom was at shoulder height, had a chair in front of it, and the view was of an office building across the street. Not impressed.

Amazing locations at Easton. The rooms seemed a bit noisy, but otherwise a very nice, clean hotel.

Very helpful staff, clean room, easy checkout, and free shuttle to airport!
