It's a beautiful hotel, except for the elevators are beat up. It was one of the more comfortable beds I'd slept in, in any hotel. The check in/out and wait staff were all extremely friendly & I'd be happy giving a solid 4.5 stars except that the experience was tainted by our experience in the bar, or rather the bar patio. We'd just spent over $100 in the bar and were enjoying our drinks on the patio couches with the fire and watching football. We were clearly watching football and they staff unplugged the TV and started packing it up. We protested and they restored service. Ten minutes later they did it again, this time accompanied by someone wearing a jacket--likely some sort of supervisor--who did something surprising--he proceeded to argue with my brother-in-law. This is not an inexpensive hotel or bar, where guests have a reasonable expectation of amenities. This was pretty disappointing.
