We were in Atlanta for a meeting this week and seven members of our party booked rooms there. By 5 pm 5 of the 7 had moved to other hotels. The next night the final 2 checked out. The guy at the front desk asked why they were checking out. My co-worker said because this place is a dump. The front desk clerk agreed and then said we are on the list for a remodel. Makes me wonder if the roaches will be kicked out.

Okay. Now I'm giving this a one because of that idiotic response. I wasn't stuck in a phone system, I was dumped back in the phone system by operators who didn't want to bother helping with my issue. Twice. An issue that was created because Embassy didn't provide all the information in the first place. It was gobsmackingly rude.
I'm giving this a two because I ultimately did find a part time desk supervisor who did help me with my issue. However, I called twice before I reached her and used the automated system to get to the "customer service" area. Both times I was sandbagged by the operators I was speaking with. The first time I was literally not answered and put on hold without explanation. The second I was told I could speak to a manager and dumped back into the automatic answering pool. It doesn't even matter what my issue was at this point. Maybe it's awesome if you stay here without any problems, I wouldn't know. What I do know is if you do experience an issue, no matter how small or large, you will more than likely be treated with total disrespect and have to go through unconventional channels to even be considered.

This place is pretty run down. They are under construction trying to improve but there's a long way to go. The rooms aren't terrible but you can tell all the furniture is old, stains on chairs etc. Room was not cleaned well when I got there. Hairs still in the bathtub. Shower curtain had stains. Since their under construction, we had to go down to the meeting rooms in the basement for breakfast and the AC apparently doesn't work down there. It was probably mid-eighties. Very disappointing, I would have moved if other hotels weren't booked up. The staff was nice but hotel in bad shape.

This was probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The hotel was significantly understaffed. It took nearly an hour to check in upon arrival as only one person was working the front desk checking people in, answering the phone, and dealing with various customer issues. For the first two hours we were in the hotel I smelled marijuana about everywhere except in my room. It was very strong in the hotel entrance, elevator, lobbies, and hallways.
When we got in the room we noticed the phone in the room did not work so we could not call down to the front desk. No notification was made about room service not being operational during the stay until we tried to order some food, and without the phone working we had to come down to the front desk. We were informed there were no staff for room service working.
The breakfast staff consisted of one person cooking and attempting to keep up with customers requests. All of the food ran out except for eggs and bacon. The only assistance to this one staff was when it turned 9am and they closed the breakfast. Other staff joined to help clear out the line of people waiting.
The hotel was also under construction and no notification prior to check was made about the construction. Loud construction that sounded liked saws and jackhammering started about 8:45am.
I would highly encourage people not to stay here until construction is complete and they staff the hotel properly.

Luke Butler, the manager stepped in and made all the difference in the world to us He was so kind & helpful and full of hospitality! He made sure that we got settled in our 2 rooms and that the rest of our stay was good! He is definitely in the right field and should we ever return it will because of how well he treated us! This Embassy Suites is an old hotel and I've stayed here many times. And I'll continue to stay here when I'm in Buckhead. My visit this time was disappointing, and I hope the hotel management will be more careful about quality. Here are the issues I had when I stayed in room 1401 in early April:
1. three used bandaids were neatly laying on a tissue in a dresser drawer.
2. the dresser drawer pull was stripped and came off in my hand ... it could not be tightened
3. the tub faucet dripped continually
4. the quality of the breakfast food and the rubbery overcooked eggs were so bad that I didn't bother to return the next morning
5. the ice machine on the 14th floor did not work

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! This hotel has drastically declined since staying here several times about 4 years ago. When we checked our room earlier today, the room was absolutely disgusting! Smelled like cigarette smoke, dirty stuff all over walls, mildew on the tub/shower, crumbs all over the floor, etc. We were so disappointed, we got staff and had them move us to another room. After looking at over 6 rooms, one which had a dirty sock still on the floor, we found a room that was decent enough to stay it but far from what we ve experienced before at this hotel. The floors outside of the room are nasty! This will be the last time we ever stay here! Needs MAJOR UPDATES ASAP!!!!!!!

Hilton really should do major renovations to all of their embassy suites properties. I've seen motel 6 hotel rooms in better shape. The remote for the tv in the front room was missing. I notified the front desk and they said they would bring one up and never did. Worst of all there were roaches in the room. I didn't see them until 3am in the bathroom. I was too tired to go through trying to get another room so we slept amongst the roaches. The COVID bag breakfast was trash.

This was a disappointing stay overall. We got there around 7:30pm and my room was still not ready for check in (check in is 4pm), and I was told they didn't have another room to switch me to, so would have to wait for mine to be ready at an unknown time. We left our things with that front desk to go get dinner and finally for a text it was ready at 8:41pm. When I finally got in the room, it stunk of cigarette smoke, but I didn't bother going back to reception considering they had already told me they didn't have other rooms when I couldn't check in earlier. I asked for the room to be changed the next day and they reassigned me, at least.
The breakfast and manager's reception were just OK, with lots of delays putting the food out, but at least the drinks were decent.
All in all, I was very disappointed and surprised for a Hilton property, and will be contacting them about it, too. Thanks.

I want to give it three stars because the hotel is under renovation. They're an exposed tack strip and mold on falling wallpaper. And housekeeping left things to be desired. I believe if the whole building wasn't under renovation it would have been a four to five star stay. Management was quick to handle the problems we encountered. But because the room was rented with points it's going to take two to four weeks to get the refund. To be fair most Hilton's carpet seem to be too thin for the tech strip. Hotel did have nice views of the mountains. The pool's and the gym have restrictions so to make sure ask specific questions before going to stay. Right now water is also getting cut off at 9:30 for the renovations and jackhammer start around 9 a.m. and none of this was advertised before to stay so it might have to hear that jackhammer 2 hours before check out with no discount. Or warning before you get there. So I would hold off on business trips till after renovations are done

I have stayed at the Embassy Suite-Buckhead many times and have never had a problem until my visit last week. The thing that bothered me the most was how filthy and dirty it was. The lobby and elevators were disgusting. It was not a very busy weekend either. Breakfast was chaotic and not as good as in the past. The fountain drink machines were broken. When we returned to our room at 4:00 in the afternoon it still had not been cleaned. We found housekeeping and asked them to clean it. Our room had a musty smell to it. And lets just say I know it had not been adequately cleaned when we checked in. Our room key failed twice and had to be re-programmed both times. The front desk could have cared less. Very disappointed in my stay this time. I will give it another chance since this is the first time I had problems. I hope things improve. Especially HOUSEKEEPING!!

This place is always very clean and is impressive to walk into from parking deck. The glass elevators are also very cool as well as the water fountain feature inside the lobby. The staff at front desk are super friendly and pets are ok here as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in need and in the area.

Hotel was nice. Kind of disappointment breakfast wasn't served. That was the main reason for selecting Embassy versus Hilton's other brands but due to Covid-19, I understand. I just should have checked ahead of time. Valet also not currently available due to coronavirus, must self park. Which is fine with me but just in case others were planning to utilize it. Otherwise, pleasant stay.

Don't let the pictures will fool you. My stay was okay. But I thought it would be much better. I saw 3 roaches in my suite, water did not work properly. There was a sign in the lobby that stated all water will be shut off at 9:30am. There is a strong gasoline smell at the bar. Self parking is $32 a day & the parking deck is filled with old hotel furniture. All in all it has a nice view.

Rooms are old. Shower faucet leaked all night, dirty carpet in hallways, shower curtain was not wide enough so I had to keep pulling it back and forth so the water wouldn't get on the floor. My family's suite smelled like smoke but they don't smoke. They ask for a $100 nonrefundable pet fee but it isn't upscale anyway so why not refund it if the room is clean after you leave? Small 32 inch tvs and $32 a night to park in the garage that is filled with construction materials! I have stayed at far better for less with a free continental breakfast and free parking. Will not stay again. Disappointed.

Customer service and the building has been bad. Many issues on property building due for remodel. I Was disappointed because you would assume the Buckhead Location would be premium. It's not. Manager Luke is not adhering to the make it right policy ,CLEARLY! If you stay with Embassy alot as we do, there are better locations in town. By the way traffic around the location is horrible night and day. Almost forgot, parking is tight don't eat before you park , you will have to squeeze out.. Less than happy with this experience. Hotel staff was ghettofied, non responsive and unprofessional! The bed was very uncomfortable, as a result I have frozen shoulder! Breakfast was horrible. The coffee station was out of condiments. I accidentally left a very expensive Polo vest in the closet of the room I stayed in and through numerous attempts was unable to retrieve it. After returning home, I called 11 times consecutively and no one answered the phone. After reaching someone, I was given a number to call for lost and found. No one answered that line either... Smh nor did they return my call after calling 3 times and leaving 3 messages. Finally, I called the home office for hilton hotels and they called. Still, I do not have my vest. They claim it was not logged in as a lost item in the room. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN! Don't do it!

I will never book an event here again, nor will I stay here. My reservation was cancelled, and had to share a room with a coworker. It took 20 minutes of running the water full blast for hot water to start. Other coworkers complained of mechanical issues with their rooms.
The dinner reservation for 12 people was also "lost", even though our company's announcement was posted at the hotel entrance, including the dinner reservation. Promises of Hilton points, and other issues are still continuing.
The Ruth Chris restaurant was fabulous and went out of their way to accomodate our lost reservation. When in Atlanta, look elsewhere.

Have had so much trouble this morning booking a room at this hotel and then have been transferred or on hold for more than 30 minutes. I needed my wife and kids to be able to check in several hours before me, but the Hilton Honors is under my name so she was not going to be able to check in without me physically present. Not sure why the poor service at least on answering the phones, handling small custom issues, and reserving a room over the phone. My hope is it's just a bad day and I just caught it wrong. Hopefully, it's not normal for this hotel, but it's my experience.

Breakfast and evening refreshments were very disappointing. Everything in room 304 was broke, ie the safe, coffee maker, not hot water in the bathroom. Had to be moved to a different room. The other room has no hot water for the bathroom sink, coffee pot did not work either. The garage was cramped!

Very nice hotel. Helpful friendly staff. Great bar. Rooftop pool is nice. Parking is expensive but the valet is worth it. The shuttle picked us up from Bones and brought us home for free. Was much much much faster and friendlier than the local Uber options. Highly recommended. Only downside was that the bed was pretty old and not particularly comfortable. Other than that the suites are well appointed and roomy.

Horrible- do not stay here. I have never reviewed a hotel or restaurant but this trip was bad enough that it needs it.
We were first directed to room 1103 for our stay. The bathroom was covered in ants along the counter and going down into the sink (it looked like they were going through the pipes).
So we then went back down to request another room and we were directed to 1011. The "clean room" sticker on the door for COVID was hanging off the door upon arrival, it didn't look like the room had been cleaned very well. This room was on another corner of the building and still had ants in it running along the ceiling. I went to get water from the faucet in the living room for our dog, but the water was milky white and murky so we stopped using it. Both this faucet and the faucet in the bathroom didn't work and would spurt out air when the cold water knob was used. The bathroom sink faucet never had warm water no matter how long the warm water knob was turned. It was very apparent that the hotel and the rooms have aged in general and you can tell much of the furniture hasn't been replaced in years if not decades.
Upon checkout, we found out that parking cost us $28/day- I only discovered this from looking at my credit card, not from them telling us. When we first arrived, someone from the parking group asked if we were checking in, I said yes. He gave me a piece of paper with the code for the parking garage and told us to go around a park in the garage then go checkin- nothing else. When I asked about the parking charge while checking out, the desk attendant told me that it was listed on the piece of paper we were handed (of course in the smallest font on the paper). On top of that, the parking paper had an area at the bottom for the guest signature, assuming as a way to confirm consent to the parking charge. We were NEVER asked to sign this or told of the charge. When I asked about it, the hotel said "sorry the parking is run by a third party, you'll have to contact them". Of course, the parking attendants weren't on duty. So we asked the hotel for a phone number to call the parking third party. They then told us somehow they DONT have a PHONE NUMBER FOR THE PARKING GROUP?
The staff was very unhelpful on check out in general. Their response to every comment or dispute we had was "Sorry, you booked through a 3rd party/parking is through 3rd party/everything was through a 3rd party, it's not our problem"

Never again will we stay here!! It was awful! While the lobby is nicely renovated, the rooms have not been updated and it shows. We have stayed at this location many times in the past with no issues, but the rooms have been truly run down. There is mold all along the bathroom tub and caulking. The water in the bathroom tub dripped loudly all night despite being completely turned off and in the morning the water was completely turned off for the day without warning! There was limited hospitality and service, this the rooms were not cleaned. The cherry on top is when I saw a few roaches ranging from big to small. Let s just say we left! I sent an email to the manager Steven Qualls, and still have not heard back from him regarding our grievances. Poor quality, Poor service and disgusting rooms! DONT BOOK HERE!
