Pool is disgusting. Room is not that nice, smelled like smoke when we first go there. They came to "fumigate", now the smell is just different.

Great place to stay. Convenient location with a nice friendly staff. Free shuttle and free cocktails and snacks every day make it too notch. The 2 room suites make this place ideal for families.
This hotel is rated at three stars and I'd say that is an appropriate rating. The lobby is beautiful, with a striking koi pond and very nice atrium. The room was a little dated in terms of the furnishings but was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast buffet was standard issue but still a nice feature. I was surprised that no one checked my breakfast voucher. Could anyone just wander in and get a free breakfast? The highlight of the stay was our shuttle driver, who was a great guy and very outgoing. Overall, I would stay here again for the price and convenient location.
Room did not feel clean. Room had live roaches in it. I actually took a picture of the roach near the microwave!
Beautiful hotel. Very accommodating staff. Great breakfast
Good location... good Embassy facility. Parking is pricey, but in and out is very easy.
On our fourth stay, always a good experience for the kids and parents alike. Walking distance to Lenox and dancing night life.
Do not go here until renovations are complete, it's a mess!
Rooms a bit dated. Good price for Buckhead though.
Not to mention the water was cut off everyday from 9am-3:30pm. Absolutely crazy!
Stayed here for new year Eve, worse ever they had bed bugs in room 802 only for us to be moved to 328 that had roaches. We checked out a day early only to be refunded for 1 night my husband broke out, we let the manager take pictures only to be told we. Had to wait for them to send an inspector in. Bullshit I called a lawyer.
Great hotel. Going through a renovation but they are doing a great job of making sure it doesn't affect normal stay business hours (pre 9am and post 5pm) The happy hour was awesome. The lobby for happy hour and breakfast was spacious. The bartender during happy hour is the best! He needs a raise based on his awesome customer service. Parking is a little expensive and little tight (its in the parking garage under the hotel and tight as far as car width space room) All in all the rooms were new, fresh, clean and safe. Breakfast was tasty and Ruth's Chris was delicious. No complaints. Two thumbs up.
Great stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating.
The beds are thin and hard. I woke up with a stiff back. I was allowed to change rooms only to find out that all the beds are the same. To top it off, the desk clerk gave out card keys that don't work. A few redeeming qualities: 1) free drinks at happy hour 2) really friendly staff 3) pretty good breakfast.
The air wasn't working and they were super understaffed
My birthday stay was horrible. Flat out horrible! We arrived on the earlier side of check in because I received an email to upgrade if there was availability. Was told no because of construction. Then why send me the email! Upon entering room, not enough towels, so I called for some. Delivery man just walked into our room. No knock or notification! Pull out bed from couch had huge pee or blood stains. I showed the maintenance man named Gary that. Gary came to fixed the Un-fixable shower head after he replaced the broken tv in the bedroom. Yes, this was all in room number 1. Moved to room number 2 Sat afternoon. After not being able to shower in the first room and we had to wait until check in the 2nd day. We went out dirty came back showed changed clothes went out for food. Came back to room to eat. It was while eating that we noticed roach after roach after roach! So that ruined our meal and our stay in that room. I go to lobby to talk to management. I approached management with a smile and a joke because my momma said you get further with sugar than with vinegar! Well, this man must ve wanted vinegar because his attitude and customer service was HORRIBLE! He couldn t have moved any slower than he did if he was 109 years old! I explained the situation and told me all he had available was a room not comparable to the room I paid for but that it was all they had. I asked how would they compensate me for all this trouble. He said he would see what he could do. I understood that as to say, upon my check out they would explain the credit being issued. So on Sunday the last day of my horrible birthday weekend in the Embassy Suites Atlanta Buckhead, I went to the desk to check out only to be told he credited my account $11.80. Yes, you read that correctly, a whopping $11.80. I called to complain. They sent me to the email link. I emailed about a month ago and I still have yet to get a response. I work a lot, which was why I was looking forward to my weekend away. But I am so very disappointed with Embassy Suites. I will never stay with them again and I will tell everyone I know about this treatment!!!
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Staying 5 days I got sick of the snacks at managers reception but the service was excellent.
Totally sucked even after asking for help to rectify room issues, I would never recommend nor go back!!
Our room was not properly cleaned and the furniture is very old and outdated. I will never stay here again too low budget..
I travel for a living and if not for the efforts of the night manager TJ and his staff, I would've given this place a 1 star. Our group was promised an early check in at 9am... Rooms were not ready until after 6pm and this was just the start. Some of the rooms had bed bugs and roaches. The hotel was under renovation and the group was not informed of the issue, even with being paid for in advance and booked for months for almost 20 rooms. The sales staff avoided us for almost the duration of the 3 days we stayed, however we realized it was due to the leadership of the GM Gerald. I for one am very disappointed with this branch of the chain but thankfully this has not been my general experience with Hilton Brand Hotels but I cannot not will I recommend this location to my clients or friends until in house issues have been resolved.
Staff is incompetent. Currently going through major renovation but having no budge in rates is literally unacceptable. Took 5-6 minutes just to come down the elevator for breakfast due to a convoluted pathway again...due to renovations. Room wasn t serviced and was told we could be given sheets to fix the bed ourselves....in a hotel.....that we re paying for services to be delivered. Maybe after renovations are done, it can make more sense to me.....but for now........don t even waste your money or time. The views are not worth it
I love how it was set up. We had a little complications about our reservations but we had a family reunion with like 10 plus roooms booked. So understandable. Great location.
Friendly and responsive staff. Laid back atmosphere. No judgements here.
terrible... worst possible experience I've had at a hotel. Spent over 240 including parking for one night and didn't feel like it was even a hotel for half that price.. Honestly expected a lot better experience especially for the area and price. You're not getting a penny from me ever again.
This Embassy Suites is dated, the staff is not very personable and the breakfast area poorly layed out and a bit chaotic.
Great host, upgraded our room to 2bdr suite, bc we were traveling with 2 kids. The hotel wasn't really that clean, but the service was great. We were playing at the pool, and couple guys came out and started smoking weed. There were no management to keep it under control. Guys just kept smoking away for couple hours, and we saw some others came to pick up the drugs. Strange hotel. Elevator smelled like Marijuana. Definitely not a great place to visit as family. Hilton name was disgrace at this location. Keeping it 3 stars bc it still is my top hotel selection. Wish they can improve
The live tick on the bed, brown water coming out of the shower, water damage on the bathroom ceiling and water still in the ice bucket were only some of the problems I had when moved to three (3) different rooms in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Buckhead, Georgia; April 8, 2015. Each room had the same nasty smell, outdated furniture that I was afraid to sit on because of the stains and obvious over used look. The beds looked like a four-year-old attempted to make them. The vomit on the bed skirt and bloody snot flicked on the wall beside one of the beds was finally too much to take and I called my boss to have us moved to a different hotel at 9 PM at night.
Originally placed in room 1325 because 1525 was NOT ready yet, moved to 1125, and 325 before finally leaving.
Would you stay here??
Perfect location! I was in town doing business at Gallup. I was close enough to walk and the area is safe for walking and adventuring. The hotel staff were great. The breakfast was kinda shabby, when compared to other embassies. Also, the gym equipment was pretty rickety.
It was in a great location with so many restaurants so little time. Happy two hours was fantastic. Rooms with great view!
TERRIBLE. We love Emb Suites & wanted a name we trusted. This hotel is working on a whole other 3-star cockroach infested level. Upon arrival, we were excited they put us in a 2 bedrm suite (lovely with kids). That night, there were baby cockroaches in the bathroom. I reported it the next morning and they sprayed the room while we were out. Great customer service and I was pleased that they took care of it right away. Well the next night there were more baby cockroaches and there was some in the second bathroom in our room as well. They gave us another room (the kids ecstatic that it went all the way up to the 13th floor this time). This room was missing a desk chair, remote controls to two TV's, trash cans, and a bedroom door. The TV in the second bedroom was not working and there was coloring all over the walls. There was also White markings all over all of the navy blue walls that made the room looks so cheap . We called up front to let them know immediately that that was not our children and this is what we found. For the next five days, we battled with the air condition not cooling below 74 degrees. There were engineers that came to see what was wrong and could not figure it out. My husband refused to move everything again since we were pack for a one-week vacation and we're tired of moving from the last room already. One night we were so hot, we reported the problem to the night Clerk. She was terrible but did offer a fan. That saved us for the next 3 or 4 nights. We reported everything to the front desk manager and then later got the general manager in the room. They did comp two nights of our stay and give 5000 points so I can't say that they did not handle it but there is Major Renovations & training needed at this hotel.
Side note: Breakfast was just okay. It was nothing compared to the Baton Rouge location's breakfast.
The pool is smaller than the pictures let on and the hot tub was out. The gym needs to be updated, very basic.
It all depends he get in housekeeping but one of the days we were there, housekeeping just left all of our toiletries and linens on a TV stand.
*** I have said in the past before that many people get on the internet just to complain but I am not one of them, as I will write a great review in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and do not take a chance on this hotel.
The service is fantastic. The rooms were clean and maintained. Their breakfast in the morning was pretty good and they had people helping find seating and take trash.
Stopped by for a quick drink at Ruth Chris. Good drinks and service
Great location to do Buckhead right! The Valet and shuttle service is professional and convienent. Then free drinks and a made to order breakfast..very good weekend.
The room was ok. Mine did not have the sanitized sticker. The mgr reception was a joke the had a bag breakfast instead of the regular one. Unless you like diet food it was horrible. I paid more for this hotel for the two items above. Disappointing!!!!!
I booked this hotel for a weekend family getaway. The hotel is going through a renovation and nowhere is this posted on the website. The lobby was destroyed and only one elevator worked. We had to use the stairway to get to our room. We stayed on the second floor and the room was outdated. The furniture was old but the room was clean. The reason for this one star review is because there was a roach in the sink in our room. I notified the front desk and nothing was done. Parking is $35 dollars a day which I think is ridiculous. I love embassy but I will never stay at this hotel again. I don't have critters in my house and certainly don't pay to see them when I'm on vacation. I tried to book another hotel but everywhere I looked was already full . The front desk said they would be finished renovating January 2021, I would suggest you wait until then to book a room. None of the rooms are renovated. If I had read the reviews before I booked we wouldn't have stayed at this property.
Horrible renovating with 1 restroom to service entire hotel and Ruth Chris! Ridiculous
Valet people will go thru the things in your car and leave it in disarray. A box of medication was stolen from glovebox, business cards left in floorboard, items in console gone thru. Not sure what else is missing! Make sure to clean car out before going there.
Felt more like a motel that a hotel they were there are no true hallways everything is an open space so as soon as you come out your room you can see everybody else's door this should not be called a hotel it should be called a luxury motel pricing was great doing a remodeling but half the day there was no hot water it was okay but not okay I would not recommend to go back here until all renovations are done
It was beautiful great breakfast and compliment drinks
I was very disappointed in this hotel... it was my best friend birthday and we where excited about staying here but not good!!! the elevator was not working, had to carry luggage up the stairs to the room and room not clean and Construction was going on and for all this Inconvenience they still charged full price.... and they never told us about this when we called to make our reservations. Don t go!!! I spoke with a manager at least they said they where but couldn t do anything for us!!!
The staff was great, room was great, complementary breakfast was great..
Great location. Lobby is very nice. Rooms were clean. Bathroom felt a little old but everything worked fine.
NO Hot Water (yeah that was fun), calling front desk at anytime would simply go to a busy signal, chatting with the customer service at front desk & they were more concerned with cell phones & upset you were bothering them...Would NOT stay here again
Our stay was perfect & we got a renovated room which was really nice & no price change. Tracy at the front desk was super nice & helpful. She went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful! She s a great asset to the company, especially during a global pandemic!!
I'm a diamond member with Hilton. And I throughly enjoyed my stay.
Absolutely disgusting. My room was bug infested, roaches to be exact. Sheets on the bed looked dirty/dingy, water stains on the wall with mold on the ceiling. It did not smell fresh. I don't recommend staying here.
perfect plane to stay, nice little gym included, exzellent breakfast. I'll come back.
The internet dosent work right this place isn't worth 200.00 a night the heat dosent work right ether the restaurant is to high they change you seepert for your meet and vegetables for a stake and potatoe will cost 71.00 witch is freaking high
It's in a beautiful area with a breathtaking view of the sky and buildings
under construction, no indoor pool at the moment. Rooms are VERY average, could use upgrades
I have been an honors member for a couple years now on the app you can pick what room you want to stay in in your time of arrival so when I get there go to check in my room is not ready and this particular time I was traveling with my autistic son and he's afraid of elevators with glass windows so the evening manager Not only was she rude she was being a b**** after Chickie and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to even finish cleaning my room and mind you I'm checking in at 7 p.m. so I moved to the side and let another person come check in she goes over all the amenities with them their room number enjoy your stay. Free Wi-Fi breakfast in the morning evening reception all that good s*** this helpful just give me my room keys so I have to ask her was my breakfast coupon in there what's the Wi-Fi thing in there the rooms are so outdated they are not queen size beds they are full size beds the shower curtain in the bathroom was so sour it had the whole bathroom smelling sour only ice machines that was working with 10 floors down all this money they charge for these damn rooms and I cash in 20000 of my points and this s*** still wasn't up to par that will be the last time I said this particular Embassy.
Affordable rooms to let in the heart of Buckhead. Currently under renovation and all rooms may not be up to top standards. Just inform the host and they will rectify the problem immediately!
Great hotel
Amazing location
I'd like to say my visit to Atlanta was all good - but it wasn't. The ONE place I should feel most comfortable, my hotel room at #embassysuitesbuckhead , was literally rotten, moldy and infested with cockroaches.
The hotel and all nearby hotels were booked for market, so the best they could do for me was "spray the room" - which did not work, as you can imagine.
I try to stay positive and look on the bright side, but the brightest thing I could think of was "at least it's not bed bugs" - which, yes... that would have been worse, but it's not saying much.
The service was nice, but they should NOT book this room to another guest until this is fixed!!! #207 #blackmold #rotten #cockroaches #gross
Clean room, but non smoking was overbooked. So had to go with smoking room which of course had a terrible smell
Perfect for a family engagement - complimentary breakfast, happy hour with spacious rooms.
Hotel is old and run down. Rooms are not maintained, something is wrong in every room. Staff really doesn't care and is dismissive about anything brought to their attention. The best thing about this hotel is it's location.
4 of us...We arrived at 100am...found out rooms were overbooked. And had a water issue. Not good...They shipped us to another hotel as there were hardly any rooms left in the city...but they made it up to us. Very good customer response to deal with the situation
When in town on business, this is my preferred hotel. Get a few drinks at the happy hour in the lobby prior to using the hotel shuttle to reach the 65+ local restaurants in the area. What you save on lodging will be best spent on the fine eats within less than a mile. I love this place.
Bad roach problem. I didn't enjoy i ran out and checked out early
We had a great stay. Tracy at the front desk was super helpful and a first class host. Kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast is way more than we expected for complimentary. 5 out of 5 stars from beginning to end of our stay. Thanks!
I will stay with okay but our room wasn't decent enough the furniture was old they was remodeling actually but they put us in a older room which the carpet was coming up and the furniture was nasty and the breakfast was no good I know it's a pandemic going on but it could have been better but overall I enjoyed my state in Atlanta got to see various things that I hadn't seen before.
I was there to pick someone up and drop them back off. Didn't stay there
The receptionist Dertalie is the bomb.....Big shout out to her. And our room was great and walking distance to the Lenox Mall and a lot of restaurants
Be careful with valet. Received the truck damaged after leaving dinner at Ruth's Chris. Not reflective of the hotel though. Actual hotel is a bit dated but the staff is nice. I'm the heart of Buckhead if you want to be in the city.
The ladies at the front desk are friendly and super nice.
Nice hotel with a central courtyard. The rooms are huge, clean and well-furnished. The free breakfast is cooked to order but a little disappointing. The selection is large but instead of trays, some guy hands you some overcooked sausage. Omelet was disappointing as well. The exercise room is basically a couple of treadmills, ellipticals, a stationary bike and a dumbbell rack stuffed into a closet. Don't plan on much of a workout. The evening reception is pretzels, tortilla chips and bar mix, a couple of lousy light beers and cocktails. On the plus side, the rooms are huge, clean and comfy. One great plus is a second sink in the bedroom area so you don't have to fight with your spouse for sink time.
Very nice hotel however small upkeep details lacking. Breakfast bar was lacking in quality and quantity.
Lazy DAY front desk STAFF, thin walls, lazy breakfast staff, water stains on walls in bed room and bathroom, AC doesn't work well at night.
Currently renovating and noisy. Should be done in 2020.
Had a super nice time. Aging but upkept building. Great service. TV channels were few with cheap programming . Not enough towels.
I wasn't aware of the construction, my mistake! Major distraction, but much needed renovations!! Floors and rooms are dated. Hallway smelled old, and i was transferred to three separate rooms due to one of TV's did not work. I traveled frequently for many years, so i wasn't concerned when i booked the room, and due to the ratings the hotel was given 4.3 stars. I was majorly disappointed! Hotel staff did there best to accommodate with several perks, which i thought was considerate. I've never been to an Embassy Suites under these conditions. I would never stay in this one again!
I enjoyed my stay. I didn't give 5 stars BC my stay wasn't perfect but I would definitely stay again.
Great hotel, awesome manager happy hour and breakfast
Nice big rooms and the location was perfect for near by shopping. Great view looking outside the room window
Valet parking was expensive and even self Park was too much to just visit family for two hours
I love this hotel, the restaurant is above average and the all mandigo valet staff is amazing. #Facts
The hotel is beautiful and rooms were great, but the check-in service that we received was horrible and disappointing. We chose the hotel for a bachelorette party weekend because of its location and affordable price. We arrived 10 mins before check-in hoping to hurry and decorate before the bride arrived. We were told that neither of our rooms would be ready for another hour (check-in was supposed to be 3:00pm) AND we would not receive the adjoining rooms that we requested. We booked our reservations almost 2 months ago and were specific about our needs. Everyone at the front desk was very matter of fact about the situation and offered no explanation nor apologies for their screw up.
