Slow. Each time a cashier finished I thought they would call someone from the line, but, sadly, no. They walked around a bit with some paper, and then started talking to someone or doing something else. One cashier, Asha(spelling?), was the only one that called another customer immediately.
If I had worked like that during my career as a cashier, in any store, I would have been fired.

This is by far the best place to buy marijuana and marijuana products. Ive been to many others and never went back to any of them. Every cannibus club i have been to is ghetto and scary, feel like you are doing a drug deal with gangsters. Harborside is a beautiful upscale establishment with the highest quality facility, products, customer service, security, ect. Don't waste anytime going anywhere else this place is the king.

I had a chuckle at the budtender calling paleo bites "palayoh". I thought it was some new Bay Area trend akin to micro-dosing. I did not have the heart to correct the lady helping me, because she genuinely cared about helping me find edibles that are safe for me to eat. Almost all of their edibles are required to show if they are gluten free, vegan, etc. This is much easier than playing telephone with a dispensary that keeps hearing "weed" when you ask if there is any gluten or "wheat". I appreciate the open, friendly atmosphere. There was a wide range of customers, and the company is inclusive with their hiring. As I checked out, two older gentleman stood at the counter next to me, gray hair sparkling in the bright natural light. I appreciated how normal the while transaction was for these two guys that had never tried cannabis in their lives. They found a few things to try, and got good instructions on how to use the meds. I had an easy time finding plenty of options for my own needs, although I was a bit bummed that the Beboe Pastilles were out of stock I also wish that they would stock more clones. I am down there 2-3 times a month, but have only been able to snag a few clones. (And not necessarily what I was looking for in that department. I needed a good mix with some cbd, and ended up with all high tjc sativas.)

In the past, I have given Harborside five stars. They have discontinued delivery on the mid peninsula and I am now forced to go to San Francisco or San Jose a minimum of 25 miles each way. I wish Harborside upper management would pull their head out and return that delivery service.
First time visiting a dispensary. LOVED IT! Great customer service and I got great information about all products I was interested in.
Not very organized I signed up for a care package in someone else had signed on to my papers to pick it up in my absence and to this day I still have not heard if I get a care package or not so I actually should give this less than three stars

I'm privileged enough for someone to get my medicine for me but I'm sitting here in the shade watching all of these people, some of them look actually very sick because they're standing in the Sun. Perhaps my post will prompt you to do something about it. It's over an hour outside waiting time. I wish the order before worked but the three times I've used that service they've never had my order... What's one to do?
I like Harborside Alot for the High Quality Clones but unfortunately i live about an hour n half away so getting the clones i want is always difficult, so i decided to order online this time, when i get to harborside from my long drive i wait patiently in line then am told they dont have The Clone I Ordered? Why would i be able to place an order for the clone but NOT be able to pick it up? Was it Sold to Someone Else? Normally i dont complain but this got me frustrated they chose Greed over Costumers and thats Not Right

Definitely the best dispensery in Oakland. All products are out so you can see them, and the staff is incredibly helpful and nice. There's plenty of people walking around asking if you have questions about products or if you need anything.
Supper knowledgeable staff and they are always placed to help and point you in the right direction. They will not sell you things you don't need just to sell stuff but will give you great advice on what will help your plants grow healthy.

It is close and convenient it is pricey I could 40% sales tax but the quality of the stuff is good yes I have tried it. The quality, variety, SOME very warm and knowledgeable staff - for a first-timer I lucked out with my green-eyed guy, but while I was trying to figure out even the freaking line for help two people, one at the vape booth and one behind the counter, were very rude even though I said and it was pretty obvious I'd never been there before....Harborside has everything for one in need of medical marijuana and its derivatives. They have edibles too, and the little cheesecake is excellent.

terrible phone customer service this morning. i was hung up on twice and when i called again they rudely told me they didn't want to check on cbd clones they had in stock now (website is not updated accurately- especially for CBD) and was hung up upon. i hope a competitor opens soon...
Great selection but very expensive! The tax on these products is outrageous and should be illegal!!! Given that this medicine could help so many without the nasty side effects of opiods the city of oakland should ease taxation to make cbd's in particular much less expensive.
They dont have many options, and the ones they do are way overpriced.

Great service! Friendly staff and to top it all off the selection of medicine they have there is a comparable to any other dispensary in Oakland/Berkeley. I highly recomend the karova cookies. They are the most bang for your buck no doubt! Tahoe Og was insane too!

This large dispensary comes with long lines, a variety of products, ample parking and friendly staff. I highly recommend you pre-order online for pick up so that you have a shorter wait. But even then, we didn't get our order fulfilled because they ran out of the items we had ordered. They did the best they could when we arrived tho.

Very professional environment and well designed interior. I went around noon and I was in and out. Again the layout is unique and they are definitely setting the bar on interior style. Customer Service is impeccable, any questions you may have they are there ready to answer. There is a great selection of products and the store layout is neat, bright and inviting.
Normally they are very friendly and helpful when I visit this location. Today though was completely different. I placed an order online early in the morning. I received a text about an hour my order was ready. I was still at work so I wouldn't be able to pick it up for a few hours. I show up to pick up my order and it wasn't fufilled.. they ended up being out of everything I ordered.. I asked the guy and they said that the texts are automatically sent out within an hour even if the order hasnt been gathered. I dont feel that is right. I wouldn't have wasted my time if I would have known my order was not completed as they told me.

Customer service was great but i feel they are cutting corners and going more for a faster in and out it was nice to have a display at each register now for bigger orders you better bring pen and paper or they should provide some. The medicine bags dont reseal cause they are cheap and the seal tears off one side of the bag. So sad i used to hope all dispensarys would follow after your example now i hope they dont
Moved back to The Bay from So Cal and have been, so far, disappointed in the lack of deals and variety of choices.
The staff behind the counter is friendly but the security is usually rude when i'm going in.
If you're a regular smoker then you're forced to pay 45-55 dollars an 1/8 or you can choose from one or two outdoor strains that are 35 an eighth that you'll probably burn through in a day.
the points system is rigged to make you feel like you're getting a deal but really you have to spend 1,100 dollars to get a good 1/8th and 1,200 for their 60 dollar 1/8th. or they offer the choice of turning in 300 points for 15 dollars store credit but if you do the math then it's 1,200 points for a 60 dollar eighth so either way it's the same deal.
it's weird to think So Cal might have their weed game on better lock then The Bay. besides one spot i found in Frisco, i was paying better prices for the same quality on the street.
in So Cal this place wouldn't last.

I went to Harborside today, April 6, 2018, to shop. It was raining steadily and it was dusk Visibility was poor.
Due to the poor visibility, I mistakenly entered the EXIT. No cars were exiting and no harm was done. When I parked my vehicle, a Harborside security guard walk up to my car and started screaming and shouting at me about my minor driving mistake. He was ill mannered, aggressive, disrespectful and hateful toward me from the first moment. I defended myself by explaining that, due to the poor visibility, I did not see the EXIT arrow. Then the Haborside security had full, lock-step support from all of the other Harborside security guards, a real gang of bullies against a disabled person,
I asked to speak to the Haborside Manager, but when a sales clerk came out, she said there was no manager working. This woman had not witnessed anything at all, but sided with the security guard (gang). I was informed that the gang did not like me and I was denied entrance into the building. In addition, I was informed that the Oakland Police Department had been called apparently because they, collectively, decided I was disturbing the peace.
In my opinion, the Haborside employees are nothing less than a gang of thugs, "marijuana Nazis", and just common, greedy drug dealers and that is my opinion,
