Harborside Health Center, Oakland CA Review

Most of the time the clone selection is excellent. However, I've gotten a few weak examples of genetics here from time to time. The flower selection here is enough to make anyone's mouth water, I highly recommend getting your MMJ card and paying a visit soon!

Dispensary done right! Only downside is the popularity can cause things to be out of stock or long waits. Recommend ordering ahead.

I came all the way from NYC to experience this place and it was everything I thought it would be and more.
Super clean and organized. Great vibe with music playing and general flow of the store.
Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable, there wasn't 1 question I asked that didn't get answered ( and I asked plenty). I lapped the store about 3 time just to take in all they had to offer. I recommend this place to any who enjoys cannabis and cannabis culture. I'm sure I'll be back there during this week Cali getaway I'm on.

Gone downhill for Rx holders since recreational legalization. Security and front desk have gotten really rude and treat customers like annoyances. No thanks, I'll go to one of the million new dispensaries!

Longest wait I've ever experienced. Once inside the line took 70 minutes!

I stopped going to harborside in November 2017 lines were too long they didnt have my online order ready or they couldn't find it. Yesterday I went to harborside to get a gift for a friend nice remodeling job waited in line for at least half an hour staff was so slow . I want more info about aunt zelda daytime oil I asked about the thc content he said its low he was in a hurry to get me out the door I was really looking for cbd oil but he was no help I will think twice b4 shopping for my products there. I emailed harborside to get more information about aunt zelda daytime oil and no 1 has emailed me back yet

I'm a fan of their organic produce; I have mixed results when trying to buy shatter from them and about a 50/50 rate of being misgendered by the staff, which is kind of weird; why would gender come up in this kind of transaction? It doesn't at Sparc, but there you have it. Their products are better and cheaper but I don't feel good when I shop there. Sad face.

This is the only place I go because they always can answer my questions with a lot of information and knowledge and never tried to sell me anything that I'm not looking for. there's been a few times they have actually said for me not to purchase things because it will not help with my anxiety

I happen to be the head of cultivation for a fairly recognized medical cannabis company who has been dealing with these greedy, disreputable shucksters for a while now. Let me state clearly, when harborside opened and appeared on all the tv shows, they may have had a genuine mission of noble intent. Funny how money changes things. I know for a fact they are defrauding their customers. Think you're paying for Girl Scout cookies? Nope that's some nonorganic Hindu Kush they bought from the lowest bidder, renamed for the shelves and sold to you at inflated pricing. This practice is pretty widespread among the retail outlets. I only point to harborside now because of the egregious hypocrisy of them acting as if they truly care on television while blatantly lying about their merchandise. By and large you'd be better served meeting a grower such as myself. That's not to say there aren't, I'm sure, some reputable sources, I hope Mercy is one of them but doubt it, we'll see. I really don't care except to have you be aware. Zero stars if possible. Greedy hypocrites.

Got 12 really nice clones but the lines were awful. We waited 2 hours. More help needed

High prices, low quality. Their websites for mobile devices doesnt work and when you can you can only get a robot to speak to that keeps hanging up on you. Their flower is dry and low quality.

My wife was apprehensive about ever going to a dispensary and I'm glad this was the first one she got to visit.

Other dispensaries around the Bay should take note, if you want people to BUY your product you should make your place feel cozy, you know? Like Trader Joe's. Ditch the blue carpet, the billion cameras, and the blue florescent lights.

At other places security makes you feel like you're walking in to visit El Chapo, and once you get inside the place looks and feels like a weird cross between the a shady skateboard store, a shady smoke shop, and a shady social security office (seriously, what's with all the blue carpeting at most of these places?).

We're there to buy weed oinment for my joints and canna chocolate for my wife's PMS. Don't make me feel like I'm in a Darren Aronofsky film buying meth from Vinnie Jones (I'm talking to you, Phytologie!).

The entire staff is very warm and friendly.
Never a wait and lots of smiles.
Paul in particular has to be one of the most compassion of them all.
Paul greets everyone with a wonderful smile and his concern is comforting. He is very knowledgeable in providing info!!

I'm not knowledgeable about the different kinds of cannabis, but they really helped me figure out what I needed. It's nice to see all types of people getting what they need. while planting my brand new blueberry cheesecake clones I noticed some odd discoloration on my leaves. Turns out to be tobacco mosaic virus great!!! now I have to destroy my entire garden and start over thanks a lot for your negligence Harborside.

Don t ever buy clones from Harborside...every year the same old thing...clones get confused and go to bud!! These are outdoor and I put them out the last week of May!!...I ve grown for years and I m only going to grow from seed from now on!! Save your money and buy seeds from a quality seed bank!!

I use to live this place, I thought what set them aside was how professional they were till the got rid of express line and it's a mess , the wait time ir ridiculous, the lady at the counter said to call I'm my oder next time so I did and the guy on the phone said the wait was long due to the holiday weekend, my suggestion if you know there is gonna be a lot of people have more employees work, but they didn't so I asked him to change it to delivery and he said it wouldn't be till late but I said I still would rather them deliver, so he said they will call at or after 6:30, well he called at 5:30 and I was busy and didnt hear the phone but regardless I called them at 5:45 to get my dollar amount he forgot to tell me, and the lady on the phone told me how much my order was, so had my money ready just waiting on my call, no call it's about 7 and I call to see what's up and the lady on the phone says it's too late cause the delivery guy called at 5:45 and I didn't call him back on a private number and he didn't even leave it on my voicemail, he said to call the club and I did, anyway to make a long story short they need to get there crap together cause you're going down hill Harborside your not what you say your about, bottom line I get better service from drug dealers!

Greed kills canna business faster than anything I used to believe in this place when they opened but it's terrible now, stay away from the Oakland location - never been to the San Jose but it's probably headed the same path

So fraudulent I still don't know how people get tricked by this trashy joint. Maybe in the mid 2000's when there were no standards, but there are much better places nowadays, that are not overpriced and have better quality.

Good stuff for the most part, but things there can be expensive to help pay for the nice space and the music is always quite loud. Also not the place to go if you want to get something quick as most customers chat up the person helping them and the people working there seem cool with that. Just not my vibe.

Very friendly staff, but more importantly this place has very wide selection of flowers, tinctures, edibles etc. Also a lot of information on each product, including its THC, CBD, THCa, CBDa percentages. Harborside has always been the most professional like place for this medicine and has the most concentration on its patients aka customers, very customer centric and true to its products. Easily the best dispensaries in the East Bay, let alone in Oakland. There has always been someone to answer my questions and theyve answered most of them with flying colors. There's a substantial amount of security too so no worries about any delinquency on the premises.

The onky downsides are the prices tens to run a little high and parking is a bit obnoxious due to the construction. Otherwise gove them a go for your cannabis needs!

It's not just another canibus club, it's an whole experience. They offer service's and seminars, plus the people who work there are extremely knolagable. But it's not cheep and that level of service will cost you.
