The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa provides a truly authentic experience perfect for a weekend getaway without all the distractions of life. I appreciated the beauty and history of this lodge. I recommend this hotel and spa for those who want to relax and recharge their batteries. You will appreciate the history of this Inn, natural beauty and the simplicity life has to offer. I plan to visit again.

What a disappointment. The outside of the building as well as the views are beautiful. However the room was really a disappointment. We got the "premium" room, and I have no idea how that differs from the others. The decoration was blah, and this was in the refurbished Vanderbilt wing. There is very dim lighting in the room even with all the lights on. The bathroom was mediocre, they use cheap toilet paper and there weren't enough places to hang towels. We did find the staff very friendly, but you have to pay and tip for everything. Their spa is incredible (we did not use the facility due to $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) but if you go, be prepared to just open your wallet and let them help themselves. We can say we stayed there, but were not impressed with it. I'd rather stay at a Hampton - even their rooms are nicer!

I stayed at the Inn May 6-9, 2018. I have stayed there twice before and have never been disappointed. The Inn itself is beautiful and the lobby full of activity. The food is excellent and the service is always very welcoming and professional. It is the perfect spot for relaxation.

We arrived late for dinner and very stressed out, and the check in desk was very expeditious and considerate, as was the bellman. Much appreciated!

Beautiful, spacious room with a fantastic view. Love the architecture in and out. Food was great.

I made a reservation yesterday for Oct. 6-8 in the club level. The spa looked amazing and that was my reason for booking. Received a generic email today from the resort experience planner that outlined a list of prohibitions. She also had not reviewed my reservation before sending the email or would have known I was on the club floor with spa access. Instead, I was informed in the email that I needed to book treatments 3-6 weeks out. I responded immediately to her email and left calls. No one could help me. All I wanted was a call or response. Very disappointed. I just cancelled the booking.

Honestly, I'd give it 3.5 stars. It's historic but poorly managed. First, the hotel needs to find some way to regulate visitors from paying guests. The fire places are beautiful but is full of loud children and people not staying at the hotel. I tried for 30 minutes to find a rocking chair by the fire but could not as large families reserved all of them. Additionally, the operations are poor. We arrived at 3p, expecting our room to be ready by 4pm (as it states on the website). After 4pm, we were informed that 4p is when check-in actually STARTS and no time is guaranteed. This is ridiculous. We didn't get our room until after 5pm, really ruining our night. This place charges luxury prices but does not deliver a luxury experience. DO NOT STAY HERE

It had some amazing views and great amenities. Most of the amenities are not available due to covid-19 but still a nice resort. The staff deserve 5 stars and get all of your requests taken care of promptly. I would recommend ordering takeout and running by the ABC store if its a long stay because the resort restaurants and bars are priced similarly to Vegas, Miami and DC

The Omni hotel is amazing. We stayed there for a special ocassion and the staff worked with me prior to arrange flowers, lunch and dinner reservations, and to make sure we were all on the same floor. They were always pleasant. Once we arrived, the amazing service didn t stop. The hotel is beautiful and filled with some wonderful history. You truly do not have to leave the grounds. The restaurants are top notch and then of course you have a wonderful view. There is plenty of entertainment. I did not get to enjoy the spa but we are planning another trip in the fall and I will enjoy it then.

We went to see the gingerbread houses. The experience was great. While waiting for the valet to bring our car, a person from our party was taking a picture and was clipped with a mirror by one of the valet's bringing someone else's car.

Wonderful hotel. Stayed on the historic side. The manned elevator was interesting and a nice added touch to the history. Loved the ginger bread competition and all the trees. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Room service was fun and very tasty. Loved everything about the experience.

We didn't stay here, just heard it was cool and it was worth the ride for sure. What a lobby! Go see it just for that! Next time we're in these parts, we plan to stay for a night or 2. Play some golf, lounge at the pool, sounds relaxing doesn't it?

Just played 18 holes. It was a disappointing experience & far below Omni standards. We were quoted $55 green fees and charged $145 - fortunately they reduced them to $85. The grill & bar was closed on a Saturday. Facilities were in poor condition. The practice putting area was not maintained to the same condition as the course. There is not a driving range or chipping area. The 18th hole was closed. The course had nice views but I would not recommend playing here.

Every Christmas, my family and I get brunch in the Blue Ridge Dining Room at the Grove Park. This place is where I dream I could be year-round. It's beautiful, historic, and full of class and elegance.

Over priced parking, poor service and food was so so. Holiday buffet was a major let down as many food trays were empty, wait staff was inattentive and everything was overpriced. This is supposed to be the best high end buffet in town. I would avoid the buffet.

Gorgeous views, buffet was good but would have liked more variation day to day with dessert!! Should have been guaranteed reservations at restuarants If splurging for the extravagant cost of the room.

I booked our 10 year anniversary 6 weeks in advance and was told by hotel reservations they would make a note and ensure a great experience. My wife is 6 months pregnant so I enquired about the spa to which they said just call back when closer to your reservation. No mention of dinner reservations needed for dining which I would have gladly booked along with the spa. I understand limited occupancy due to Covid but the issue was communication not Covid. We show up and the resort and spent over 2k for the weekend and having to go off site for everything because we weren't informed properly when making our reservation. I spoke to management which offered me a breakfast coupon...are you serious I'll pay for my own breakfast, whats the difference in $20 when your spending 2k? Make sure you book properly it is a beautiful Resort just wish we had been able to partake.

The spa is AMAZING. The Grove Park Inn is beautiful and the setting is gorgeous. However the customer service is poor. The waitstaff in the spa cafe acted like you were bothering them when you attempted to order food. The staff in the lobby did not go out of their way at all to help visitors feel welcome. The rooms are small and old. Next time we will stay at The Grand Bohemian and just spa at the Grove Park. Food was ok but nothing phenomenal. Disappointed (except for the spa).

Terrible customer service!!! My husband and I spent a week in there to celebrate our relationship recently. Upon leaving, we realized that we had left his hiking boots in the closet of our club level room 1169. We called within the hour of leaving, and we re quickly told that they were sorry but our room hadn't been cleaned yet. We ve called back every day since only to be told the same lie. I recognize that it is our fault for leaving behind the boots but the lack of caring and customer service here is troubling and makes me realize that this establishment doesn t care at all for their guests. You can t say that the room hasn t been cleaned for multiple days now. It s a bold face lie.

Had high expectations for the restaurant. Was very disappointed. Food looked and tasted like it had been fixed previously and had been waiting under a heat lamp for so.eone to order it. Dry, stale, tasteless. Chicken had gristle in it. I will never go back.

Most was good , room noise from refrigerator running to loud to car noise in the parking lot. Edison restaurant was mediocre food and drinks. Staff was great, blue ridge restaurant was great as was the maket place coffe shop. Overall great place to visit.

Amazing experience from top to bottom. Service is impeccable down to the smallest details. All food and drinks we had in the hotel were amazing. Rooms in the original part of the Inn are well appointed and had an amazing view of downtown and the mountains. Will definitely be coming back!

Went to a friend's wedding here. It's a beautiful building with even more spectacular views. The sunset from the mountain view terrace was stunning. The food at the reception was also all very delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by to at least catch a sunset if nothing else.

Grand vistas, giant fireplaces, wonderful bars & restaurants, secret lobbies, the amazing annual gingerbread contest, an awesome spa - definitely my favorite resort hotel. Nestled in the Appalachia foothills, five minutes from downtown Asheville, NC.
