Wonderful, and we were there during the holidays- The hotel made it magical. They had cookies and milk on the 1st night and a Christmas stocking on Christmas morning! Wow. Over and above. The bellman were kind, always greeting you and everyone was accommodating! will stay again!

Beautiful property with the most amazing views of the mountains. We walked around and stopped into one of the restaurants for a drink and an app. We were told that we could not have a table and had to sit in one of the lounge/communal areas which was just couches with no tables. It was completely empty in the middle of the week so we were a little put off by that. Otherwise a great place to see even if you are not staying at the hotel.

The Grove Park inn is a historic hotel built in 1913. It is so impressive from the outside.our room however was less than impressive.it was dark, dated and old. The shower/tub was uncomfortable to climb into. The bed was uncomfortable. Save your money and book into the Biltmore Inn if you are looking for comfort and luxury, the price for both hotels is about the same.

The spa at Grove Park Inn is truly worth a visit and an indulgence. I had the best facial ever and walked out of there so incredibly relaxed.

We had dinner on the sunset terrace and it was excellent. The view is everything you would hope for.

My husband played golf and the service surrounding his golf clubs was first class.

The valet forgot to leave our key fob in the car when we departed. I called and they offered to bring the fob to us at our next hotel (The Biltmore Inn). He made sure to stay in touch with me and delivered the key very quickly to the front desk. He truly went out of his way to correct the mistake. Excellent service.

I would not stay at the Grove Park inn again, but I would use the spa again.

I might add it was our 30th wedding anniversary and we were celebrating it with 3 other couples. Grove Park Inn did nothing to acknowledge our celebration. We went to 2 other hotels in our travels, The Biltmore Inn and The Marriott Golf and Spa resort on Hilton Head. Both hotels gave us cards wishing us a great anniversary. Biltmore gave us a bag of goodies and Marriott gave us a room upgrade, champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. Much appreciated and a great touch of customer service.

A must see in Asheville NC! This place is beautiful and everything you d expect from a high end luxury resort in the Carolina mountains. Stunning views all around! Lots of history! We ate lunch on the terrace for lunch and the atmosphere was amazing and service impeccable, which made it easy to overlook the mediocre food. Definitely recommend and will return many times I hope!

We had a wonderful time staying at The Omni Grove Park Inn. Everyone we came in contact with was nice and had a smile on their face. The room was comfortable and the view was spectacular. Our Spa experience was very relaxing. We will be going back to this hotel in the near future for a relaxing vacation with a spectacular view.

Beautiful setting and views. The quiet time after 1030 PM seems to be enforced, which is much appreciated. Asheville has great food and breweries, and the people are very friendly. We were there for a volunteer organization retreat and would not have otherwise thought to visit. Now I would like to come back for vacation.

Co-workers and I went to eat lunch, sort of a holiday celebration, if you will. We were shocked that we had to pay 20$ to park! We did not want to see the gingerbread exhibit. We only wanted to eat. 20$ is ridiculous! I will say my meal at the Edison was tasty. But paying to park left a bad taste in my mouth.

Nice to stay at a first class facility with service to match. Scenic. Historic. Depending on where home is, don t forget warm clothes. Not cheap ... but it only costs a little more to go first class.

Went for the Gingerbread Festival. Hospitality and helpfulness were above expectations. Everyone was cheerful and eager to please. Employees were stationed at various locations to specifically answer questions. It was impressive. I'll be back!

Our arrival date was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the 28Feb2020, including dinner on site, immensely. We met many great fellow visitors. The second and final day was terrible. Soon after the massage on our second and in the men's dressing room vertigo hit me terribly. A GPI escort came in, I had completely dressed, and I told him I needed help. He turned and left. I was fortunate that a fellow guest was there and helped me to the spa lobby where my wife was waiting. The Manager of the Spa was there and I informed her of my situation. She called for a wheelchair and we waited more than forty minutes for an escort to arrive. The young man took me to my room, and it was "good-bye" with no further request to assist. Of course, we cancelled our on-siter reservation for dinner. My wife went to the Great Room bar, explained her hurry for a few sandwiches she could take our room. Rudeness and 45 minutes accompanied our order. The next morning my vertigo had not subsided, my wife helped me to the Great Room, and proceeded to check us out and use a valet to retrieve our things. With a cart, the valet called for our car. After 30 minutes waiting outside in the cold my wife asked again for our car. It took nearly 45 minutes for our car to arrive and we made our escape. I called Guest Services this morning during 1000 to relay this story, and now as of 1730 I have not had response. Spending an average of more than $800 per day I expect better.

Excellent spa and golf. Service was what you would expect from a luxury resort. The rooms in the old building are small and have very basic furnishings and fixtures. The room is not worth the price they charge compared to a Ritz Carlton for example. However I did enjoy my time using their excellent amenities.

AMAZING

Luxurious resort! Went there with family to check out the National Gingerbread Competition. Beautifully decorated for Xmas. Inviting fireplaces in all the lobbies. I want to stay there!!!

I went here with my family since 2000 and I am very upset that the Grove Park has decided to not let us have breakfast on the weekends to view the ginger bread houses. You can't even enter the hotel to view the ginger bread houses till 3:00 pm. This really makes me upset that the grove park made it where only only the guests at the hotel may have the breakfast ever now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was our second visit to the spa, first was four years ago. We love the amenities to enjoy while there, therapeutic falls, hot tub, pools, sauna, outdoor pool, and food and drink.
We did a couples massage with a jetted tub and champagne bath after. It was glorious! The massages were wonderful!
I gave 3 stars because:
1. Having to tell staff more than once during the day that the restroom needed attention. Even running out of toilet paper.
2. Mold in the shower.
3. I left my wallet in my robe, ugh! I was grateful of how attentive the staff were to help, and I would have liked to give a cash reward to the one that found it, but all the cash was missing when I finally got it back the next day :(

We stayed at the Grove Park Inn for a couple of days while in Asheville. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail in maintaining the beautiful building is matched in their attention in providing a first class experience for their guests. Every interaction we had with the staff (check-in, concierge, restaurant wait staff, elevator operators, parking valets) was wonderful. I really wish that we had more time to stay at the Grove Park so that we could try out some of their other amineties like the spa and golf.

If I could rate this place with more stars I would. AMAZZZINNGG experience here. Every encounter with a staff was exceptional. Room was AWESOME and classy. Stayed at the hotel for more than 24hrs and didn t even have to leave. Had dinner & drinks at night and then coffee & breakfast the next morning. Don t miss reading all the historic artifacts from past years to learn about its rich history!

The Inn is a treasure. From the mission furniture, the antiques, nods to the 20s, and the Great Hall. We enjoyed our meal at the Friday seafood buffet and Blue Ridge, but even better were the service and view.

What a disappointment! My friend and I were spending one night at the Omni Grove Park Inn after a day at the Biltmore before we picked up kids from camp. We were excited to have dinner there and relax in the hot tub. That's not how it ended up being. We pulled up to the valet about 6:30-7:00PM on a Thursday evening. The valet looked short staffed and behind. They loaded our luggage on a cart and said someone would bring it up to us. We checked in and were told we were in the historic section. Not really sure what that was until we got to the room and realized it was the original OLD rooms. The carpet was disgusting. We were starving and called down to the Terrace restaurant and found out there were no reservations until 9:15PM. We took that one, figuring we would go check the other restaurants out. We then had to wait over a half hour just to get our luggage in the room. By the time we went downstairs and checked out the other restaurants, they also had wait times, even though all three restaurants had empty tables, (another area short staffed). We had a few drinks on the terrace, but there was only one poor waitress for the entire terrace area and she was running. We went up tot he stand for our reservations at 9:10PM only to be told to have a seat in the lobby and they would let us know when our table was ready. We were seated at 9:40PM. we paid $150 for 2 drinks, 2 biscuits, one filet, and 4 scallops. What a waste of time. We checked out at 8:30AM the next morning, after having stayed a whole 13 hours at the hotel paying $617.52! There is a $25 resort fee (which we didn't use) and if we wanted to use the spa hot tub area that would have costed us another fee. Taxes alone were $35.64.
We picked up 6 kids from camp and started home, but spent the night in Columbia, SC at a Marriott Fairfield Inn since we needed three rooms. We got clean, big rooms, wonderful beds, and breakfast for under $250. I think I'll stay a Marriott fan.

We called and were told in advance the hotel could handle charging electric vehicles -- by the Valet staff -- "no problem, we handle electric vehicles all the time."
Turns out they only have the charger that fits Tesla vehicles. We had to drive off the property to a local grocery store to access a "Universal" charger like the ones all around the country at multiple venues. The car had to sit there for 4 hours. This was totally Unsatisfactory for any hotel in the USA, especially when we checked in advance and told them the type of electric vehicle we were driving (BMW i-8).
The hotel itself is wonderful and sits in a great setting. The food was excellent, rooms were clean and comfortable. Service by staff was above & beyond. But the breakdown in the knowledge of the Valet service available to charge our vehicle was Unacceptable.

Stopped by to check out the view from the inn and walk around the grounds. Interactions with the staff were friendly, and the condition of the facilities was excellent. I would recommend at least stopping by for the view and if you have the time, enjoying a drink on the porch.
