Well ran, clean with great amenities(breakfast, popcorn & pop, AND evening snack/meal WITH 3 Free adult dri ks), very courteous staff. I hope they all are like this one in Alabama(Grandview). Great place to stay!

This was one of the best hotel experiences we've had in many years. We unexpectedly had to stay in Birmingham for a medical procedure. We were allowed to check in early which was good because we were exhausted from traveling. The complementary dinner and drinks were wonderful! Luat the bar was a sweetie! The Popcorn that is in the lobby was my little ones favorite! We had a relaxing dip in the hot tub and played in the pool. The room was clean, (thanks, Jazz!) with comfortable beds that we slept like babies in! After we enjoyed the delicious breakfast bar, we were kinda sad to check out and get back on the road. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay exceptional!
I loved it, it's a very nice clean hotel food and the kickback was great. I got in the hot tub for the first time it felt amazing. The only problem I had was the pools and hot tub I only got one time to experience it because kids were taking over and too loud. But overall we enjoyed our stay
The staff went far and beyond to make you feel welcome. They remembered faces and always spoke no matter how busy they were. Wanna give a shout out to the GM Louis Verde, by far one of the nicest people. Tell ROLL TIDE and Go Bills when you see him.
So enjoyed my stay. Manager and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and happy hour was good. Beds were comfortable and room clean. Will go back! Convenient to shopping and entertainment.
Excellent place to stay fromcustomer service to sleeping comfortable everything was just excellent. They offered supper the manager walked around to make sure everyone was ok (A first) even took our plates after we were done eating. The bartender was was very funny my husband loved her lol. I have traveled alot and stayed alot of different places but this stay has beat them all.
Drury Hotels are always an excellent choice, in my opinion. This had comfortable rooms, and decent drinks during Kickback time. I have had a better Kickback meal at other Drury Inns, but it was okay. I enjoyed the breakfast (and I'm not a big breakfast eater). Beware of very slow elevators...I started taking the stairs.
We have stayed here 3x previously and were very happy. Today we had to change rooms because the sheets had "hair" form a previous occupant! YUCK They gave us a different room which was fine, but still, after a full day of traveling changing rooms is just irritating! Also the kickback had no chicken on it. This is disappointing since every other Drury Inn we have stayed at HAS offered chicken fingers or sliced grilled chicken . I hope improvements are made to the house cleaning. Also at 6:30PM, there were still cleaning staff on the floors...this seems very odd to be doing this so late
We had an exceptional stay. The hotel was exactly as advertised. Room was exceptionally clean, did not smell. The handicapped room with walk in shower was perfect for me. Card entry access at several doors so you do not have to walk the entire property to get where you are going. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Amenities were awesome. This is a great place to stay. Indoor pool for those that love that. We stayed 12/27/19 12/29/19 room 122. Got a great rate so we were very pleased. Bed was a tad uncomfortable for me but I like very firm bed. My wife slept great.
Parking seemed safe, plenty of grassy areas to walk my small dog. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was polite. The only issues I encountered were the ice machine (2nd floor machine not working, had to go to another floor) and the window coverings (no black out curtains, couldn't block parking lot lights).
Loved the evening social with dinner and drinks, yes they serve liquor no charge. Rooms were large and extremely clean. Bedding was super comfy looking forward to going back.
Anywhere my family travels, we look for a Drury Inn at our destination. I always check the cleanliness of each room we get. This particular one did not disappoint. As always, the guest service is outstanding. I specifically want to give praise to Corey at the front desk. He is so friendly and helpful!
Absolutely spectacular customer service, pool, free breakfasts and drinks, great rooms. Employees like Corey at the front desk and Louis (I believe a manager) going the extra mile to make things special truly made this one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. With how much provided for us, my family was genuinely questioning how they can even turn a profit given the great price. Would stay again!
I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here! The bed wasn't changed from the previous guest! When I got ready to lay down I saw hair & crumbs on the sheet. I called the front desk to bring me clean linen, he didn't seem to be concerned about the poor quality. Later in the night I saw a roach crawling. I wouldn't recommend anyone to spend their money here!
Rooms were very clean, well protected using health dept guidelines for safety. Rooms were very quiet. Price was good and Amber working the front desk, helping with bar and cleaning earns a big shoutout in my opinion.
This Drury Inn location goes above and beyond. If you are staying with children it is perfect. Year round pool. Popcorn and drink all day. And the kick-off, which is dinner, is especially nice. Hot dogs, soups, baked potatoes (with all the fixins), and salad bar are always available the main dish changes. Pastas, Tacos, chicken tenders etc; rotate. A wonderful Seafood Restaurant is literally steps away and serves lunch. It is also pet friendly. In a very nice and centraluzed part of Birmingham. For me it is must stay here hotel!
I absolutely love this location! The manager, Jamie, has become like a family member and she always has a smile on her face and makes sure my stay was pleasant.
Great location. Lots of restaurants choices near by. Room was very nice, beds were comfortable. Service was extraordinary. Everyone was friendly and polite. The pool was nice. Indoor/outdoor pool.
Fantastic stay! we were travelling through on our way back home in maryland on 2/25/17. Made last minute reservations as we were unsure where we were going to stop for the night. When we arrived it was during their 530 kickback so lobby was crowded. Room was huge and surprisingly very quiet which is needed when travelling with 3 toddlers and 1 dog. When we got back to lobby for dinner it was still super crowded and food was running out. Yami, one of the women working that night, overheard my 3 year old autistic son ask for sausage biscuit (one of few things he eats) and went in the back to make him one when I discovered there were no more hot dogs. She took the time during a busy hectic night to make my son something he would eat and help me avoid a major meltdown. that meant the world to me! Jamie, the assistant manager, was on the floor working alongside staff and was fantastic! She had a smile on her face despite the loud craziness of dinner (even when I had to admit my 4 year knocked a drink all over the main floor area). The pool was super crowded with many families so we were unable to use that which sadly did cause a meltdown in my 3 year old when I told him that we couldn't go swimming but the big Kids jumping, the noise would have been too much for him to process anyways. The only issue we had was the fire alarm went off when one guest was smoking in their room (it's a smoke free hotel) but it was good to know the alarms were sensitive and worked in case of a real fire. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to help. I dread staying at hotels because travelling with 3 small children, one who is autistic and prone to meltdowns, and a dog who is known for his bark is hard, but everyone was nice, gracious and helpful especially Yami and Jamie. Thank you for such a great stay!
Terrible experience so far, didn't get to check in until an hour after check in time, horrible service with hold times on phones, sinks and mirrors were dirty and they offered no form of compensation for our inconveniences!
Amazing and SUPER FRIENDLY staff. Breakfast was superb and the manager was talking to everyone and getting them refills and throwing away their trash. I would most definetely stay again.
Staff nice, rooms are clean! They have a lot to choose from during breakfast, and we enjoyed to kick back with a minimal of 3 free drinks and a light dinner. Different meal each night starting at 5:30
Even though they were under construction at the time we were there, you could not tell other then the equipment. They made the stay comfortable and were very accomodating. Freindly staff and a very nice area.
Lovely rooms, plenty of amenities including free wifi and a 24 hour pantry for midnight snackers like myself, and a friendly staff. Makes me wish we were staying more than one night. Will definitely be staying again.
This hotel had been our "go to" place any time we have to go to UAB. We especially appreciate the extra care given in December when we had an unexpected, extended stay. The staff made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast and evening snacks helped make a hectic time a little bit less crazy. Thank you.
Awesome and amazing hotel. All the way down to the staff. The Drury inn makes good use and sense of every inch of square footage. Well thought out, and very comfortable. This is a place that you can take your family and be proud of. Be confident that you made a good decision. Room's are very nice and clean
Stayed 5 nights and not one person came to room to remove garbage or to replenish soaps, bathroom paper or washclothes. I asked for services and still no help.
This hotel has great amenities such as a pool, hot breakfast and basically dinner at 5:30pm. My one issue is the pets. Dogs were barking until around 10pm. Beware if you are a lite sleeper.
Loooveeddd my stay! They have so many accommodations, the guy at the front desk, Jeff, went above and beyond to help and make us feel welcomed.. can't wait to go back.
The property was beautiful, however, the night clerk was as awful. After being in our room for about an hour, neither myself nor my husband could breath through our noses. I checked the filters in the AC unit and they were caked with dust. As we were walking to the elevator with the filters in hand, the night clerk came off the elevator and entered the 3rd floor corridor. We stopped to show her the filters and ask if we could either get replacements or have them cleaned. Before I could finish my sentence, she interrupted me and very rudely said, No one can go in your room and the maids clean the filters every day. It was as if she were implying that I was lying! I informed her that I wasn t asking for anyone to enter my room, then held up the filters and showed her that they clearly had not been cleaned! She said that the GM was there and instructed my husband and I to go to the front desk, pick up the phone, and wait for her to answer. We did as she said. We listened as the phones in the office and front desk area rang but no one ever answered. I finally hung up. As we stood there trying to decide what to do about the situation (phones continuing to ring as other people called), the night clerk came walking up from the hallway on the first floor. My husband tried to ask her where the manager was but she answered her cell phone and walked right past us and into the back office, completely ignoring us. We left the ac filters on the table and went back to our room. I ve never been so insulted or mistreated by a hotel employee! Her attitude was extremely rude and demeaning. Not to mention we barely slept because of the quality of the air in our room!
