Melissa Puttkammer Was a great mortgage broker to buy my first home with. Helped me get pre-approved quick and was a smooth transaction.

The staff are so welcoming when you come into the office. The mortgage brokers are very knowledgeable and customize the perfect loan to meet your needs. I have recommended Mortgage First to several friends and family and they were impressed with their professionalism and the timely manner in which the loans were completed. I would definitely recommend Mortgage First when you need to buy or refinance a loan.

My experience with Mortgage First has been great. When I first came to them, I was working two jobs, one paid hourly and one as an independent contractor, and I had a tricky situation trying to figure out income requirements, but Claire Mahoney bent over backward going through months of my paystubs trying to sort it all out. Unfortunately, she came to the conclusion that I would need more time to show steady income (since I was not paid hourly or by salary) before I could qualify for any loan, but I was grateful for her honesty and how she explained it all to me. In contrast, I had also contacted another agency and gave them the same info I gave Claire, and yet they told me I was approved right away and had me out looking at houses, one of which I fell in love with, only to find out a few days later that I shouldn't have even been shopping the market in the first place because I didn't qualify due to income requirements. I canned the other agency and will deal only with Claire and Mortgage First from now on. They do their homework and tell you straight. Thank you, Claire!

In fact, if you say Jamie Yeaney in the mirror 3 times I bet she d pop up and find you the best rates you ever seen. She s like Beetlejuice if he was a really good mortgage broker. Mortgage First was amazing from the start. We are first time home buyers and we didn't really know what we were doing or where to start. Financed the purchase of our new home at Mortgage First with Todd Allen. There were some different issues that had to be addressed and we were so glad we had Todd to guide us through it. With 30 years in the real estate business I have had many lenders make promises they could not keep. Todd actually has in depth knowledge of the different lending options and knows what does work and does not. he answered all our questions. Returned phone calls and followed through. We actually closed on time! I have tried many of the others. I will only be going to Mortgage First from now on.
