Was in Birmingham on business. Great location with eateries nearby. Bistro is not complementary, but convenient with nice selection. Try the scones! The building is large, with a courtyard/pool in the center. My room was clean and updated. Public areas all seemed well kept as well. If I was visiting in the area, I would use this hotel again.
Rooms were clean, price was great, the free breakfast and evening kickback are a definite plus.
Drury Hotels are great, as is this location. Close to an abundance of restaurants and retail.
My daughter & her husband got us a room because I was having surgery the next morning. It was very nice, clean and we even had an evening meal.

I absolutely love Drury Inn. I wont stay anywhere else. They are so accommodating. I feel at home there. Clean, friendly, breakfast, drinks, snacks! If anything isn't perfect. They will make it right.
Stayed in 508 on a Sunday night. What's there to say? I haven't been to a Drury I haven't loved! There's even a Papadeux in the parking lot!
Very impressed by the whole staff, and Drury Hotels & Suites especially. Due to unexpected car troubles we had to stay at the Drury Inn-Grandview Parkway for two days, instead of at our original reservation in Meridian, Mississippi. The front desk cancelled my reservation and transferred it to the one in Birmingham, with absolutely NO problems! We were so relieved, and the entire staff treated us as though we were family. The free breakfasts and evening meals were both great, with variety enough to handle the grandparents and grandchild. Very friendly to our pets, we just loved it. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel, and hotel chain to ANYONE traveling alone, as a couple or as a family. We will definitely stay at a Drury Inn & Suites again!

We are regular customers and love the Drury but this trip was sub par. Staff was welcoming, friendly but room shower is broken. Spoke with amy who was very nice and sent another key to a new room to shower but that one was broke as well. Come back to our room to wash up and no hot water. Now we sitting waiting hoping it will restore in minutes. Sooo frustrating and very disappointing. ALL ROOMS SHOULD BE CHECKED BEFORE RENTAL. Also chair has nasty stain. Had to cover with towel.
This place is lovely!! It's peaceful and it gives you free meals for breakfast and dinner. It has a very nice pool it has an inside pool and an outside pool.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We arrived a bit early but Zac at the front desk was able to check us in. He proceeded to mention there would be complimentary fajitas/tacos and hot dogs in the lobby for dinner. The breakfast which was also included in the stay was very good with many options. Would absolutely recommend this location to family and friends. Look for Zac at the front desk. He will take care of you.

I stayed at the Drury Inn on Grandview in Birmingham, AL. Booked a king size room for my birthday weekend. The stay was AMAZING, the staff was kind. The rooms were clean and the food was hot. You can walk out of the hotel and straight into Pappadeaux restaurant. There is great shopping in each direction of the hotel in less than a 5 minute drive. The other places like Top Golf and museums are about 14 minutes drive. Great place to stay!!!
We stayed at The Drury Inn Grandview 8/24/20 and it was the best hotel we ve ever stayed at! You get hot dinner and 3 alcoholic drinks per adult, and hot breakfast. The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very clean, which was a great experience. The beds were comfortable too. The women serving breakfast and dinner were amazing and courteous. The pool was very nice and clean. It was nice that the pool has a partition in the middle so it s half inside half outside. We will be staying at this hotel from now on when we come to Alabama! Great area around the hotel as well, Grandview is beautiful!
after staying at the Druery Inn in Montgomery a few days ago, I will say that this Druery Inn is a 5 star Hotel, EXCELLENT FRONT DESK SERVICE, AND STAFF, ME &MY WIFE PAMELA PEELEWILL CONTINUE TO USE THIS HOTEL CHAIN EXCLUSIVELY. GREAT JOB BIRMINGHAM 280!!!
Fantastic staff and stay. My family and I have stayed there on 2 different occasions while looking for housing during my relocation to the Birmingham area. Same great experience both times.
Great place to stay. Close to the Summit and other shopping on highway 280. The evening kickback is nice and the breakfast is great. Compared to other places in the area it is really a good deal for the rates.
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was safe and required you to be let in or have a room key after a certain hour. The room was extremely clean and well maintained and the need was very comfortable.

The rooms were clean, the pool was fun for the kids. It had both indoor and outdoor part which was rather chilly for a July stay. The bathroom was rather small and the breakfast was not good. However the beds were comfy.
Stayed here for 4 nights. We LOVED it. The staff is superb, the breakfast is delicious, the free adult drinks and Kickback dinner is awesome, the pool area is clean and nice, and the rooms are immaculate. The beds were so comfortable my husband and I are going to buy the same mattress. It s a kid friendly hotel, but it isn t loud or chaotic like some kid friendly hotels. Toni, who works the front desk overnight, was the highlight of our stay. She was super kind, went above and beyond for us and our daughters, and always made sure we were well taken care of.
We highly recommend this hotel. We ended up hunting down another Drury Inn & Suites on our drive back home to stay the night before driving the rest of the way back home. Best hotel company ever.

Had some issues but the staff immediately fixed everything and were very accommodating.
We like Drury hotels and have stayed at several with good reults. This hotel was clean, the room was nice sized ( smallish bathroom), and the staff was friendly enough. The window air conditioner in the room was not working properly. Everytime the thermostat called for cool air, the unit would kick on with a loud sound that was like a small helicopter taking off. When it cycled off, it was just as bad.
When I checked out the next morning, I told the 2 women at the front desk that we slept very poorly thanks to the a/c unit, expecting some sort of adjustment to the bill. Instead I was told "that's the first I've heard of that" and "have a great day" as we were brushed off and she moved on to the next guest.
We moved on and had as great a day as we could with no sleep, but we will consider other options than Drury the next time we book a hotel.

Best hotel we have ever stayed at and we've stayed at a lot of hotels! staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean with amazing perks like free 5:30 PM kick back with free drinks and dinner (we had hot dogs, soup, nachos, salid, and pasta) and free breakfast ( waffles, potatoes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, muffins, doughnuts, cereals, and juice!) And all at a good price! Has indoor and outdoor pool!
It was a good place as long as you don't go when they have coupons going on.
I went to check in my room and put my bags down in a pile of dog poop was in the corner I call the housekeeper she came up and sprayed some kind of disinfectant spray to clean it up so that let me know that the room was not clean or sanitize I will never stay there again. Drury used to be one of my best hotels.no more.
This is our new favorite place to stay! Great rooms, great customer service! Indoor pool which is nice for kids. The rotating breakfast and evening "meal" is so convenient and delicious!

I stayed here after my PRO surgery. Great price. The staff was always willing to help and checked on me when I was sitting in the lobby in pain. Very nice. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent in every way. I had an emergency and the took care of me very well. Breakfast and dinner, hot tub, up scale finishings. This place and this staff are a true gem. I am not getting rewarded in any way for this, I am just so impressed with this place. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

I had a great weekend stay at this location. Check-in, room, breakfast and happy hour was as satisfactorily expected with a Drury Inn. The only real knock is getting to this location. Somebody didn't really think through the road design to get to and from businesses, particular for this hotel. When driving south, you have to pass it, come to a traffic light, and then make a u-turn to get to it. In addition, the road to the hotel is a somewhat hidden because the hotel is behind a Pappadeux's restaurant.
The manager on duty was magnificent! She was on top of everything, pleasant, and super accommodating! My only regret is not finding out what her name was.
This place is BOMB, clean rooms, nice snacks and happy hour every evening at 530pm, and decent breakfast, however the grits were watery, and the potatoes were cooked a bit hard(we went at 650am). It's so worth the stay otherwise!!!!
We love this place. This is our "go to" spot. Birthdays, holidays, date nights, etc..... The best by far, Brittany, in guest services is one of a kind AWESOME! She makes this place shine. We will be back.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Drury Inn, the amenities were appreciated and the room was nice and comfortable.
Not COVID safe enough. I came here instead of some of the cheaper options because they say they have enhanced safety options in place. However, people are frequently not wearing masks or social distancing- in the elevators, in the dinig area for picking up to-go meals, at the check in desk, in the hallways (drunk and extra not being mindful), etc. The staff were really friendly but not enforcing the mask requirement while I was here. Wearing a mask protects others from you more than you from them, unless we all wear masks its not safe. Studies show the virus can be aeresolized and stay hovering in the air for up to three hours. When someone isnt wearing a mask in the tiny elevator right before you and then you get in, the virus can be there after theyve left and you get in. Im really not as comfortable as I hoped.
We stayed here overnight due to a uab appointment. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean. Will definitely stay again. Oh, indoor/outdoor pool is a plus.

Ac in the rooms are motion sensitive so very hot when you arrive. Reset to 70 then it rest itself back to 75. Free food and drinks was a great idea but had a refugee feel with hotdogs and pieces of lettuce. Pool is dirty, indoor area was over chlorinated burned the eyes.. had to take stairs, elevator was over burdened... computers crashed at check in. Bartender was really nice. Meh.. dont have hot rooms.....
