We stayed here with 2 kids and a dog, it was very accommodating for our needs. No issues and thick walls. :)

A very pleasant experience. Surprising the amount of included amenities at this price point. Very pleasant staff and nicely appointed common areas. Complimentary continental breakfast, evening drink and hot food, and more. We will definitely look to stay at the Drury hotel line next time we have an overnight need.

We had a great time. The hot tub was heaven!!! Nice to have a few drinks in the evening to unwind. Rooms were spacious. The front desk clerk was so helpful and very pleasant. The food wasn't bad.

We could not get the air to cool down miserable night sleep

The room we was in had a strong smoke smell, even though supposed to be non smoking.

I just like the bed and the great service of the lady in the breakfast service ,she is 5 stars

I found this hotel very quiet and pleasant. Excellent staff who were very helpful. It's pretty decently located near a Target, gas stations, and other shopping areas as well as plenty of food places. Their breakfast had good variety of foods also. I will definitely want to stay here again if I end up near Birmingham again.

Absolutely love this place! From the moment I walked thru the door to check in, I was greeted by extremely friendly staff. We (along with every guest) were treated to evening beverages and food from 5:30-7pm, which included 3 free alcoholic beverages and a taco buffet. Everyone one was so friendly. Our room was really clean, beds are comfortable. They have an indoor/outdoor pool and a hot tub. Can't wait to check out the continental breakfast in the morning

Drury inn is an amazing hotel chain, and this location is no different. Clean facilities, family friendly, and affordable.

Home away from home. Friendly staff that get to know their patrons. Love the extras-popcorn, kickback, breakfast. Always clean. Today, there was a strong foul odor in the elevator next to the pool. Flooring other than carpet may be a good idea for this elevator. Still, always a great stay here.

Nice hotel, I really enjoyed my stay. In walking distance of Pappadeaux.

Room was spotless, bathroom clean. Got there at 1:30 am with no reservation and they had us in a room within 10 minutes.

Rooms great and food and drinks but what made this a 5 star hotel was staff wanted to say tha a man named Lou was what made it great he offered to get food for us due to we got to hotel after mixer had ended . and I was having truble with pool area door he walmed by and droped what he was doing to open door without asking . took our plates off table when we were done he was always smiling and cleaning and very aware of everyone aroud him . loved that he always said thank you and may I . my hisban and I felt like royalty. This was the best experace out of 3 separate times at this hotel. Rooms clean staff wonderful thanks againe

A little tricky to access of the interstate. Rooms were clean and well appointed. One of the best breakfast spreads around.

Angie the front desk agent was professional and informative. I had a reservation and she had me checked in with keys to my room in my hand in under a minute. The hotel is clean as well as the room. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub was very relaxing. The kick off dinner was hot, fresh and a nice variety. The adult drinks made and served up by Lou were as great as him. Best of all the dinner and drinks (3) were free. The room and bathroom were nice size and clean with all the amenities (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer coffee pot with coffee packs, large flat screen tv, desk, phone, clock and the wifi worked throughout the property. I travel and have stayed at many hotels. This one is winner. I will seek out a Drury Inn no matter what town I'm in after this stay. I forgot to mention the hot breakfast that was great and free.

Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast in the he morning was amazing. Only stayed a few short hours passing through on a vacation trip.

I was highly disappointed with our stay this time. There must have been a change in management. The staff was completely different and no where near as friendly as the old staff. Also there was a difference in the way the food host treated people of color verses Caucasians. We will be finding a new place to stay for sure.

American owned, 2 meals a day , 530 kickback, free cokes and popcorn til 10. Clean, personable staff. Feels like home away from home.

Great rooms and service. Delicious supper and breakfast. Very refreshing indoor and outdoor pool and relaxing heated spa. My grandkids loved it.

I had friends visiting from Las Vegas that were kind enough to get me a room close to theirs. I loved my room (#404 Grandview location in Bham AL) although it was a little noisy due to goings on downstairs. All personnel were cheerfully helpful. Everything was clean. I hope to be a guest again. Thank you Drury Inn & Suites.

I had to come to AL for a training session. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and everyone is so helpful and kind. I didn't expect a lot of the extras I didn't expect. I will definitely be staying here again.

The room was really nice and clean and had a king size bed that was good.. The free supper wasn't bad except the young girl that was opening the supper line acted as though we were in her way. I hate to mark off on the service because of the actions of one person, but sometimes that is all it takes to leave you with a lasting impression. When you first open the door the smell seemed pleasant, it didn't seem that they were trying to cover up anything. We would stay there again if the circumstances called for it.

My stay at the Drury inn and suites is always on point. The staff is always awesome. On my first night there a bus full of kids came in and they were knocking on guests doors, so the front desk gave me a free night stay at my convenience.

We had a great stay in not the best of circumstances. My wife was having back surgery the next day and the hotel even had a shower bench we could use. Pool and exercise room. Looked nice but didn't get a chance to use. The kick back buffet that was included was great. Breakfast buffet looked good too but I want going to eat some my wife couldn't before surgery. Highly recommend !

Our experience with Drury Inn and Suites was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay, just wished we had gotten there earlier and could have stayed longer. The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel/motel. I highly recommend Drury Inn and Suites of Birmingham!

Horrible manager, not willing to work with customer's. I pay cash everywhere we travel.My wife and I traveled five hours with reservations. I paid for two night stay. The manager asked for credit card for 50.00 security deposit. I gave her 100.00 bill. She stated cash not good. She told me I must used credit card. I don't like to use credit cards out of town, due to the fact card was hacked. What if I didn't have a card.? The American Dream is to become debt free. She wouldn't take 500.00 for security deposit. I left embarrassed, upset, and discriminated. We have lost respect for the American dollar. When you put plastic cards over cash money. I will never stay at a hotel, that doesn't except my hard earned Cash money. We went down the road and found a new hotel, that excepts hard earned cash.

Very nice place for the the price. All the rooms are small suites where you get your little living room with pullout couch and you have your bedroom seperated which I think it's very convenient. Free breakfast, soft drinks, beer and also lunch!!!

Good quality hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. My room was simple but had whatever I needed, saw a couple of dogs so I'm assuming they're pet friendly which is a plus for me, and they have an evening mixer event every weeknight where adults can have a couple of drinks on the house and hors d'oeuvres. I wish the fitness area had a bit more than just a couple of cardio machines and light dumbbes, but its about the same as similar priced hotels so it's not a surprise. Also the options available on the television were less than ideal for a 4 night work stay, luckily you can just plug your laptop into the TV's and use your steam ng services as a workaround. Will likely stay here again next time my employee sends me to Birmingham.

I have stayed in 5 star hotels that have not been able to even come close to the service offered here, will definitely be staying again, the drury is now at the top of my list

Bathroom was the smallest of any hotel that I have stayed at.

You can t beat this place. Rates are cheap, rooms are clean, pool is warm, and free food I can NEVER argue with.

This location was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cook did an excellent job with preparing the food. Everything had good taste and the food was hot! Thats very important to me! And the food area was very clean despite there being alot of kids there that weekend. It was memorial day weekend. Even the workout room was very nice and clean. The equipment is very new! I did use them. They were easy to operate.
I truely enjoyed my stay! I will definitely be going back and I do recommend it to anyone!

Nice clean room. However, when we showed up at 9pm after driving for 11 hours, we went to our room ready to rest, only to find the cleaning crew there cleaning the room! At 9pm? I had reserved a room months in advance, and even confirmed with the hotel when they called earlier that day that we were on our way. It was frustrating having to go back down from the 5th floor to the lobby, to get the last room they apparently had left all the way at the end of 1st floor hall by a service closet that made noise all night.

The manager was extremely nice and apologized, and let us pick out a coke and snacks from their room, but at the end of a long day it just wasn't what I wanted to deal with and didn't expect with them having such great reviews. But... I know this is most likely a one off that rarely happens for them.

The hotel was extremely clean, it was nice being able to just walk over to Pappadeaux's, and it had one of the best free Breakfast's I've had at any hotel.

I have quite literally lived injury ends for months at a time, and hands down they are the most hospitable and kind people. I like the amenities with the free drinks and the breakfast and dinner buffet that they offer included.

I'm from Mississippi, and my husband and I love to stay at the Drury is Jackson sometimes just to get away for a night or two (just bc you're married, doesn't mean your stop dating!! + kids) So, when we came to visit his mother in Alabama, staying at the Drury for one of our nights was a no brainer! The "kickback" with the 3 free drinks, and AMAZING food, the awesome breakfast (not just cold bagels!) the indoor/outdoor pool, the workout room, the rooms themselves, and the service...ALWAYS top notch!! I highly recommend staying here! PLUS, you earn points with the Gold Key Card (free) and now we have enough for a free night!!

We evacuated here from FL during Hurricane Irma with our Labrador. This was one of the few hotels we could bring him! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable bed. Suite-style was nice to have the extra space. Hot breakfast, free wifi, and evening snacks all helped our stay be as comfortable as possible. We were able to get a room near the back, close to the stairs which made taking our dog out easy. The ONLY negatives were that we weren't able to check in early (arrived at 11a after driving all night) and the dog across the hall that barked when it's owners left the room. But, a big plus, we decided to leave a few days earlier than originally booked and were able to cancel those extra days with no question or charges. Would absolutely stay at a Drury again!

Can I please come back?! This hotel was my favorite part of our whole vacation! Between the easy parking, the friendly check-in workers, the staff accommodating my infant son with a free sleep pen, the complimentary drinks, the snacks downstairs, the breakfast, and the simple check-out, I didn't want to travel on to the rest of our trip!
