Fruugo appear to not appreciate or follow any universal postal union standards, customer rights acts or trading standards as they have refused to refund me for a package I bought from them 7 weeks ago which has been lost.
My order is 2 weeks delayed. The enquiry link doesn't work and there is no alternative way to do it. Website no easy to navigate re:alternatives. I find this shortfall frustrating.
Don t order anything from this company. I never received my order or my money back. They don t react to mails and if they do they are very impolite and don t try to solve their mistake. This is a huge scam!
Don't usually leave reviews but felt I should on this occasion mainly because I placed my order without first reading reviews and then when I saw them I was thinking the worst. However, my experience here has been really good. Ordered a Jack and Jill seat for my mum, really good price and can pay through Klarna. Got very comprehensive shipping updates and arrived 2 days later, no problems at all. Product absolutely fine.

Bought a Miquel Rius 3 ring binder that looked great and cost 3 times the price of a normal 3 ring binder and it fell apart after less than a month of us. Contacted Fruugo and at first they offered no exchange or refund, but after complaining again they refunded my money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!! I ordered a pair of size 7 women s Salomon trainers. I received one size 7 and a 5.5!!! The refund fiasco is diabolical. You have to return the items by paying for it yourself. Then taking a picture of the receipt to prove it and also put a cover note in explaining why you want a refund...they know why you re returning it as you have to contact them firstly by email! At the moment, when I placed this order, the information "In stock, shipping within 24 hours" was clearly indicated in black and white on the website fruugo.ch. So it's November 29, 2013 or November 30, 2019 I had to receive the product on which I counted by paying for this merchandise with the service of processing and delivery which is half the price to go. I just received an email that the delivery will be made between December 5 and 18, 2019. On these dates, my order is no longer relevant. That's what a scam.
I bought a Vichy shampoo, the delivery was very late and unprofessional! The shampoo didn t come with the properly package and security standards! I believe it s fake! I don t recommend at all this website!

I too have a very bad experience with this company. I ordered shoes for my son on December 8 for my son. Only yesterday on 2 January there was a ticket in the bus that I can pick up the package at postnl for a fee of 22.50. This is not mentioned anywhere!

After discovering some very worrying feedback l wasn t holding out much hope that I would receive my order, and If it did arrive it wouldn t be the quality I was expecting. Arrived within two days of the order confirmation. Of course it would depend on the retailer where the product was coming from... but two days is pretty good going in anyone's book - plus made a substantial saving in the process.

ADVICE: Refuse acceptance of import charges and complain to paypal until they refund you.

Don't have an issue with Fruugo just with the product they sold me. A phone case for my Samsung smart phone. It has no hole for the camera. Thus in order to take a picture the phone must removed from the case. Who wants to do that every time?!

Simply awful, do not use this company.
Ordered a rug from them that was " in stock" on the website. After a week with no delivery, I emailed their support to ask where it was...they replied to my email 5 days later to say that it was out of stock until the following month.
I thought "fair enough" mistakes happen and continued to wait. A month later and still no communication or rug delivery. Emailed them again and yet again another 4 days to reply saying again that there were further stock issues and it wont be ready for another 2 months.
Bad service and Bad communication.
Do not use this company, you will just be wasting your time.
*edit* upon writing this review I was contacted directly by their customer services manager who apologised for everything that happened. She then took the case on herself and I had regular daily updates. Still did not get the rug and ended up getting a refund instead. It's a pity that this kind of service was not there at the beginning.
However I have also had several emails asking me to edit or remove this review. After looking at the other reviews it would appear many people have not got items they ordered but have put good review due to good service. I will however not be adding to my rating based on re-active measures taken due to writing a bad review in the first place.

I ordered 2 phone cases off Fruugo BEFORE I read the reviews so after reading them I thought bye bye to my money. Ill never see my purchases. However, I was wrong. They were here within 2 days of ordering (Im in Ireland) and much cheaper than anywhere else.

The worse company I have ever dealt with. Have been emailing for a week with no actual response. Sent me a faulty stationer bike made by mhstar also an awful company. The left pedal which was preattached has come off, the seat is not working and showing signs of wear already. I have emailed them so many times. I have now contact trading standards as I am being ignored. My brother is a social media manager for various company which have around 5 million followers about 3million sports related. If this is not sorted he will be posting all about this on his story. Order number 20577142. Had to contact this company after 9 days waiting for my parcel. No communication whatsoever. Explained it was a Christmas present and I needed it. 'Sorry...stock error'. No compensation offered. No attempt to contact me regarding the situation. Phone line closed in a morning until 10am when I'm at work. Complained but not forthcoming with either a)an explanation and apology b)an attempt to reimburse or reconcile my problem or c) any indication that anyone there has read or cares about my complaint. I only gave one start because I had too. They stole my 60. Stay away from these thieves. I ordered switch controllers which turned out to not be real and didn't work and their argument was that it was in the small print, they were only 20e cheaper I would never have bought fake ones for so little difference. Then with covid I couldn't post to the county of return and asked for a number for couriered return and was told no so I had to wait till I could post and I'm receiving no response when I contact. My poor son has no controllers. I hope your proud stealing of a sick single mother.

I bought 2 matching rattan sofas for my new conservatory. When they arrived the weave in the rattan ran downhill and looked a mess. I requested a return and refund and was initially told I had to wait while they contacted the supplier. Took a while. Then they said I had to arrange the return myself, pay the charges upfront, and then claim it back. I have refused to do this as the items were faulty and under the sale of goods act it the sellers responsibility to do this. 5 weeks on and i am still no further on and am currently waiting to hear on an email I sent 6 days ago. Very poor customer service.

Outrageous. How on earth this company is still operating is completely beyond me. Ordered a game for a Christmas present that was shown as In Stock . After a couple of days, I received an automated email saying that the order had been updated. Great I thought, it must have been posted for delivery. I was wrong. The order update was that the order was CANCELLED with a note stating:
Unfortunately this items is currently out of stock as we have only launched our shop and stock level was not getting updated in timely fashion. We apologise for the inconvenience this might have caused. Thank you for your understanding .

They also took the money for the transaction, knowing full well that they never actually had the item the sell in the first place. I had to email them to chase up getting a refund as obviously I had no confidence that they would do this at their own free will.
I ordered an item from Fruugo and as the 1st address line in the box couldn't take enough characters I had to put our home Locktin code in as the first line of the address ,followed by our full address and telephone number. I received three sales e-mails before eventually ,many hours later,getting an order confirmation which didn't fill me with confidence.
Four days later I received an e-mail informing me that my order had been cancelled as they were unable to deliver to a secure lock-box and that I should have provided an address! Firstly, i had given our full address and a contact phone number and secondly I'd love to know how they deliver goods to people who actually go out to work and need drop box services.
I can only assume that the whole operation is automated and it's a case of 'computer says no'. I sourced the same item elsewhere and got an immediate confirmation and the delivery will be in less time than it took for Fruugo to decide they didn't want my business. I won't be using them again.

I received the wrong item, customer service are hard to reach and not very good with dealing with issues. Parcel didn't reach supplier so I'm now having to claim compensation from royal mail could have all been avoided if I recieved the correct item in the first place. Wouldn't use again
