Awful experience:
They sent a damaged piece of furniture and after calling, sending emails and opening 3 enquiries they don't reply, don't send another order and don't offer a refund.

This company appears that it's in UK but it's not I had to pay an extra delivery charge to royal mail

The item took nearly a month to be delivered and delivered later than the window given

Still waiting on a reply from Facebook page all in all a poor experience

Ordered a rain cover for a pram we just bought. Hasn t arrived and had to chase the retailer. Was offered to wait longer or a refund (it s between warehouses...). Not really a convincing response, so asked for my money back. Didn t realise this was not a retailer but a market place site for all sorts of random retailers.

Would not use again.

SCAM !!!!! bought a product to treat cats against fleas sent from Australia !!! 1 quantity received after 2 months for two purchased. Watch out for this site. it is really not reliable the answers to the problems are not treated seriously. I have the documents which prove my negative opinion. I'm still waiting for an answer

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Products will take for ever with no communication and then you ll be hit with a customs charge and you have to pay international postage to return things. It is also impossible to contact anyone to get customer service, I resorted to facebook messenger to resolve my issues (which ended up not being resolved).

It has some parts that are tough to find elsewhere just be prepared to wait to receive as shipping time took over two weeks for a HDMI cable to arrive and I am still waiting on a DP adapter...

Avoid at all costs! Getting a refund from this company is virtually impossible and their customer service is terrible. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but you don't have the option of none!

After 'losing' my parcel, Frugo gave me info which meant I could locate my parcel in Australia and it arrived safely a few days later.

I wish I had read the reviews about this company before ordering. Think carefully before buying from them. Delivery due date was pre Christmas, ended up arriving mid January. Product was wrong (my fault not theirs) but trying to exchange the item is impossible. Customer services just ignore emails. I ve given up, handed the item into a charity shop and have decided to never use them again

HUGE SCAM!!! Do yourself a favor and never buy from this website. Like many others here, I never received my order nor my money. In case you have also been scammed contact your bank ASAP.

Absolute joke of a company with a dreadful service all round.

First off, the t-shirt I ordered for my nephew still hasn't arrived despite the delivery promise on the product page saying "within 6 days". The whole reason I bought it was so I could get it for his bday. They argue it is to be 'dispatched' within 6 days, but still, it has been over 13 days since my order and have received nothing.

Secondly, they force you to 'sign up' with an email in order for you to have the basic right of inquiry about your order. They do this to increase sign-ups for marketing purposes. Totally unacceptable. And as you may notice from other reviews, people have been confused with the customer service as it uses both email and 'in-site' messaging.

Thirdly, customer service takes no appreciation for your requests. They always reply 48 hours later at the soonest - almost like trained bots. I asked for a refund and this has totally been ignored - with them recently laying blame with my 'address details'.

They use companies from god knows where to sell products, which probably explains why parcels never arrive on time or go missing. They charge a premium for this delivery.

I will be collating all my correspondence and raising a complaint with Trading Standards.

Do not shop at Frugal.

Buyer beware!! Awful. Contacted retailer directly, as advised, to cancel order on same day it was placed and basically been ignored! Item received days later when unwanted with no returns label or receipt. Attempted to escalate via Fruugo but advised all info is on the website - a rehash of contact the retailer yourself and no intervention to actually resolve the issue. Appalling customer service and communication skills and will not be using Fruugo again.

First time using the website. Great prices, however delivery could have been better. Said it would take 5 to 14 days, came yesterday 20 days after I ordered. Other than that, great business, great prices!

Ignorant regional manager that doesn't respond to emails, not great to do business with. The support is awful, doesn't even deserve 1 star.

The worst and untrusting company, they just accept the orders but wont respond when your order hasn t arrived after 2weeks maximum delivery time and just tell you, you have to wait more and no right to cancel it.

At first, I give low score because the delivery is far too slow, then the item shows up with good quality, so minus 1 star.

I am very unhappy with this company and strongly advise against ordering here. Not only have I never received my order, I get no response from customer service, they are very difficult to reach and I do not get my money back. Also a tip when ordering the country where your product must come from an eye. You also get high customs costs.

Ordered our son a hover board with kart - came within 2 days via DPD. Great Service! Quick and Fast and great product!

Got landed a customs charge ordering from fruugo.ie there was no mention of any potential customs charge throughout the transaction. Pretty poor customer service too. Shoes also came .5 a size too small.

Be aware - SCAM, not a UK based company, they don't even have the stock. AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!! I wish i've read other reviews before purchased something.

The item I ordered (and paid for!) Was to arrive in the mail after 5-10 business days, but was never delivered. After three months, I tried to send customer service emails to hear what was wrong, but never got a response. Money straight out the window ...

Never experienced anything so unprofessional before.

Still no personal response regarding the order of 11/15/20, no way to reach them, however the payment was made on 11/15 with proof. I receive an email telling me that the payment is not made, I send them a screenshot with my bank payment, 1 week later, always the same email, "payment not received etc ;;" screen capture etc .... Another great scam this site! Complaint is filed! TO FLEE !!

Terribly slow and difficult customer service. I just want to return the dress I ordered as it's too big. Apparently I have to provide proof with photos.

Stay away from this site. Sent goods back and still waiting for a refund or even a reply. Its been going on since January .Slow unresponsive money takers. I would give no stars if i could. The fact no one is responding is just disregard for customers.

Ordered from them in October and still haven t received purchased item yet and emailed them 3 or 4 times and no reply, then I checked up my consumers rights and it s now January (3 months after expected delivery date) and they said they ll give me a refund once I send the items back but the thing is I haven t got the items, they never arrived or were never sent out in the first place... SCAM! Got onto my bank about it and there opening up a fraud case now... stay away, FAKE!

I was reluctant to leave them one star however there was no option for non. Really poor service, took my money and never ever responded, avoid like the plague as you will not get your item or money through them. Luckily I paid through paypal so I have raised a dispute through their website.

Ordered an item from them which was dispatched on the 31st Dec and after quite a few attempts to contact them I gave up after emails kept bouncing back. The product has now arrived 2 weeks after I ordered it. Long wait and not great to get in contact with but product got here eventually.

I ordered 70% alcohol gel sanitizer 1 gal. I did received it but then it was more like water than alcohol. It doesn t smell like alcohol at all.

The product was initially lost but the prompt customer service took care of the item and it was delivered.

i ordered a screen protector for my cellphone early April and they said it will be delivered before the 10th May, today is the 12th May and i wrote them an email on the 10th still i got no response. these people are so unprofessional. i will NEVER again buy anything from them. they cant be trusted! such schemers!

I ordered a motorised bike for my grandson for Christmas. It arrived promptly but when we built it on Christmas morning there was a part missing. On Boxing day I emailed Fruugo to ask about a replacement part. Customer service was excellent and with the exchange of 3 or 4 emails the issue has been resolved and the missing part has arrived by 6 January. Super service, super product no hesitation in recommending them.

this company of deceivers. in the ad, they write that the product is made under the skin, but it was sent with a cheap cloth. and they don't want to return the money

I ordered on the 26th of September it suppose to arrive on the 17th of October, till now i didnt receive the item, i wrote many times on the website and i only get replies ( check on you post or with you neighbors ) how professionally is this replies!!

Fruugo customer care has excellent service. I was delivered a faulty product by one of their vendors. I complained about it to Fruugo. I was contacted by their customer care agent "Chloe". She was prompt responsive. In short time she contacted the vendor and resolved the issue.

Waited 4 weeks, then has to pay extra for customs charges. But when i contacted there customer service. They contacted the company from which I purchased and got my money back which I payed for import duty. Which was good of them

I have never seen a company like that bad. I have bought a folding electric bike, the bike arrived without pedals, instructions book and light. In front of the bike was not put together, I could not put them together and I couldn t find any documents about that on the internet. Terrible customer service answers very late and doesn t solve the problem. I have sent the parcel back I did pay postage and requested to pay back that because that s not my fault. The retailer didn t pay and Fruugo didn t do anything as well. I got bad products, waste my time texting with them, and tried to send very heavy products back. Highly do not recommend the company, zero responsibility!

Waiting on my shipment to come in the mail no customer service can be reached. all I have is a confirmation number which I do not know where I'm supposed to submit the confirmation to, to verify Product item and sales and proof of transaction approval.

ONE star for this company IS ONE TO MANY!! non existent customer service. placed an order for a product which is based in europe, sent the product from the USA which has incurred a tax charge which I am not prepared to pay. I ordered rosehip powder with vitamin C on the 10th of April and it still has not arrived. They shipped the item on the 12th, but according to customer service it usually takes up to 14 days for it to arrive.

Ordered product for first time on 22nd Feb 2021. I paid CHF21 for the postage. It is 25 March and product has not arrived. Cannot get hold of anyone via phone and no one responding to emails. Keep away from Fruugo. Stick with Amazon - never experienced this with them over 5 years.

Fruugo is awesome to shop from. I haven't received my item yet to rate it but I did have an experience with customer care changing my packages address to be delivered to, which they were great. So when they asked me to rate the customer service I experienced via email, here's what I had to say,

"The "reply" option when emailing back and forth to customer care was complicated. After I'd 'replied' a message would prompt me to "reply above this line" suggesting my response wasn't being sent lol confusing me I kept resending and re-replying so I don't know how many times the poor person got my messages if even at all. We seemed to have figured it out OK, Frances and I lol. She was great. Maybe an update to the 'system' would do the trick? Idk lol but again, THANK YOU! "

Well I ordered a watch and was sent an order number with my address incorrect . Said I was number 8 and not 8A like I always clearly state .
I mailed them one minute later and they said they would update which the clearly didn t and blamed me for the error . They said days later it was dispatched and to late to correct .
I ve never received the watch .
I read reviews afterwards and was horrified at some of the orders and folk not receiving .

Unfortunately I looked up reviews on this company after I had placed an order with them on the 13th of July. After many emails later I am still waiting for my order to arrive. DON'T use them!

I made a purchase today then later realised I had stupidly put in the wrong postcode. I contacted them about this and they said they would amend it for me. Just received an email telling me my order was cancelled. Why?! Is this standard practice?

I wish I read reviews before I ordered - DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! There was no mention that the item would be coming from the USA when i ordered, I also recieved no tracking information. 1 month later I still have not received my item, customer service are unhelpful and expected me to phone and run around to post offices to find out what has happened to a parcel they supposedly sent. Luckily I payed through paypal and have raised a dispute so I m hoping for a full refund.

I wouldnt use this service again, although i bought my items through the country i reside Fruugo.at..... Turns out the items where sent from Australia and i got wacked with a customs tax to pay of 24... Moreover they took forever to arrive.. Yeah, all in all first and last time.

Have ordered an item over 20 working days ago, and Fruugo has no clue why I haven't received it yet, although I inquired about it several times already. Now I ask for a refund since I need to buy urgently this item somewhere else, I have no answer from their services. Never had such a bad experience with a company!

They charge like x 25 for cheap Chinese bad quality products!!! I know the original price and they charge way too much! Who wants to buy the bad quality and pay 50? Everything is just too much!

Nearly 9 weeks since I placed my expensive order, poor customer service with short rude unhelpful replies (when I get one) As to the whereabouts of my order !! I am going to be taking this higher if my order is not received in the next of couple days ! Absolutely disgusting service and I will never use them again or recommend to anyone ! As long as you don t mind waiting forever for stuff to be delivered. I ordered some running shoes 2 and a half weeks ago and got an e mail 3 days later to say they ve been despatched which I thought was not quite Amazon standard but still not bad. However just tried to get in touch to let them know they still haven t arrived; 2 weeks later and the automated response said wait until it s been 14 working days! Almost 3 weeks for shipping! That is not made clear on the website, everything says despatched within 24 hrs . I would not of ordered them if I had known, i needed time to train in them before an upcoming race. Won t be able to do that now.

On the positive side the website it s self is not bad.

Jury is out now until i eventually get to find out if they have sent the right thing in another weeks time!

I felt I had to leave a review of my experience mostly for anyone who see's something they like here but nowhere else.
A friend had a pair of Koala Bay shoes that bought in Spain, I found them on Fruugo, ordered them and received them a week later. I ordered them before I saw all the terrible reviews, probably wouldn't have ordered them if I did.
