Ordered a rain cover for a pram we just bought. Hasn t arrived and had to chase the retailer. Was offered to wait longer or a refund (it s between warehouses...). Not really a convincing response, so asked for my money back. Didn t realise this was not a retailer but a market place site for all sorts of random retailers.

Would not use again.

Watch out for this site. it is really not reliable the answers to the problems are not treated seriously. I have the documents which prove my negative opinion. I'm still waiting for an answer

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Products will take for ever with no communication and then you ll be hit with a customs charge and you have to pay international postage to return things. It is also impossible to contact anyone to get customer service, I resorted to facebook messenger to resolve my issues (which ended up not being resolved).

I wish I had read the reviews about this company before ordering. Think carefully before buying from them. Delivery due date was pre Christmas, ended up arriving mid January. Product was wrong (my fault not theirs) but trying to exchange the item is impossible. Customer services just ignore emails. I ve given up, handed the item into a charity shop and have decided to never use them again

Absolute joke of a company with a dreadful service all round.

First off, the t-shirt I ordered for my nephew still hasn't arrived despite the delivery promise on the product page saying "within 6 days". The whole reason I bought it was so I could get it for his bday. They argue it is to be 'dispatched' within 6 days, but still, it has been over 13 days since my order and have received nothing.

Secondly, they force you to 'sign up' with an email in order for you to have the basic right of inquiry about your order. They do this to increase sign-ups for marketing purposes. Totally unacceptable. And as you may notice from other reviews, people have been confused with the customer service as it uses both email and 'in-site' messaging.

Thirdly, customer service takes no appreciation for your requests. They always reply 48 hours later at the soonest - almost like trained bots. I asked for a refund and this has totally been ignored - with them recently laying blame with my 'address details'.

They use companies from god knows where to sell products, which probably explains why parcels never arrive on time or go missing. They charge a premium for this delivery.

I will be collating all my correspondence and raising a complaint with Trading Standards.

Do not shop at Frugal.

Buyer beware!! Awful. Contacted retailer directly, as advised, to cancel order on same day it was placed and basically been ignored! Item received days later when unwanted with no returns label or receipt. Attempted to escalate via Fruugo but advised all info is on the website - a rehash of contact the retailer yourself and no intervention to actually resolve the issue. Appalling customer service and communication skills and will not be using Fruugo again.

The worst and untrusting company, they just accept the orders but wont respond when your order hasn t arrived after 2weeks maximum delivery time and just tell you, you have to wait more and no right to cancel it.

Not only have I never received my order, I get no response from customer service, they are very difficult to reach and I do not get my money back. Also a tip when ordering the country where your product must come from an eye. You also get high customs costs.

I receive an email telling me that the payment is not made, I send them a screenshot with my bank payment, 1 week later, always the same email, "payment not received etc ;;" screen capture etc .... Ordered from them in October and still haven t received purchased item yet and emailed them 3 or 4 times and no reply, then I checked up my consumers rights and it s now January (3 months after expected delivery date) and they said they ll give me a refund once I send the items back but the thing is I haven t got the items, they never arrived or were never sent out in the first place... SCAM! Got onto my bank about it and there opening up a fraud case now... stay away, FAKE!

I ordered a motorised bike for my grandson for Christmas. It arrived promptly but when we built it on Christmas morning there was a part missing. On Boxing day I emailed Fruugo to ask about a replacement part. Customer service was excellent and with the exchange of 3 or 4 emails the issue has been resolved and the missing part has arrived by 6 January. Super service, super product no hesitation in recommending them.

I have never seen a company like that bad. I have bought a folding electric bike, the bike arrived without pedals, instructions book and light. In front of the bike was not put together, I could not put them together and I couldn t find any documents about that on the internet. Terrible customer service answers very late and doesn t solve the problem. I have sent the parcel back I did pay postage and requested to pay back that because that s not my fault. The retailer didn t pay and Fruugo didn t do anything as well. I got bad products, waste my time texting with them, and tried to send very heavy products back. Highly do not recommend the company, zero responsibility!

Fruugo is awesome to shop from. I haven't received my item yet to rate it but I did have an experience with customer care changing my packages address to be delivered to, which they were great. So when they asked me to rate the customer service I experienced via email, here's what I had to say,

"The "reply" option when emailing back and forth to customer care was complicated. After I'd 'replied' a message would prompt me to "reply above this line" suggesting my response wasn't being sent lol confusing me I kept resending and re-replying so I don't know how many times the poor person got my messages if even at all. We seemed to have figured it out OK, Frances and I lol. She was great. Maybe an update to the 'system' would do the trick? Idk lol but again, THANK YOU! "

Well I ordered a watch and was sent an order number with my address incorrect . Said I was number 8 and not 8A like I always clearly state .
I mailed them one minute later and they said they would update which the clearly didn t and blamed me for the error . They said days later it was dispatched and to late to correct .
I ve never received the watch .
I read reviews afterwards and was horrified at some of the orders and folk not receiving .

This company should be shut down

There was no mention that the item would be coming from the USA when i ordered, I also recieved no tracking information. 1 month later I still have not received my item, customer service are unhelpful and expected me to phone and run around to post offices to find out what has happened to a parcel they supposedly sent. Luckily I payed through paypal and have raised a dispute so I m hoping for a full refund.

As long as you don t mind waiting forever for stuff to be delivered. I ordered some running shoes 2 and a half weeks ago and got an e mail 3 days later to say they ve been despatched which I thought was not quite Amazon standard but still not bad. However just tried to get in touch to let them know they still haven t arrived; 2 weeks later and the automated response said wait until it s been 14 working days! Almost 3 weeks for shipping! That is not made clear on the website, everything says despatched within 24 hrs . I would not of ordered them if I had known, i needed time to train in them before an upcoming race. Won t be able to do that now.

On the positive side the website it s self is not bad.

Jury is out now until i eventually get to find out if they have sent the right thing in another weeks time!

I felt I had to leave a review of my experience mostly for anyone who see's something they like here but nowhere else.
A friend had a pair of Koala Bay shoes that bought in Spain, I found them on Fruugo, ordered them and received them a week later. I ordered them before I saw all the terrible reviews, probably wouldn't have ordered them if I did.
