I got a call from Claudia to come in to look at new vehicles to buy and when I got there the sales person said she was not in. So Mr. Garrett had another newbie sales person show us vehicles that did not know much about the vehicles and or how to read the window stickers for engine sizes. Of course I did it myself and we figured out which vehicle we wanted. As we did the paper work the newbie asked Garrett about Claudia in a whisper and Garrett made sure to mention she had been let go and no longer worked there. Odd because she had talked to me an hour before we came to the dealership. Today I got a call from Fredy Kia and it was Claudia so she does still work there. She was nice and did not say anything bad about her co-workers but she did thank me for buying from Fredy Kia. I think she should get the whole commission due to the salesmen we dealt with lied about her not working there. The salesman was just trying to get the commission and lied about her not working there any longer. So I am wondering how many lies he told us as well. If a salesman will lie about a co-worker, I would guess he will lie to make a sale. Garrett had the newbie salesman redo my profile that same night so I would guess they did that so she did not see they had sold a vehicle to me and not have to share the commission with her. Overall I will be looking at the service after the sale and Mr Garrett had said for us to come back in to refinance in four months because he can get us a lower rate at that time. So did he lie about that as well. He said it would be no problem to get a lower rate if we come back in four months and he knows how to get it done for us. He has a 100% success at getting everyone refinanced with nothing more down. All I can say is I wish the salesman and the dealerships should get fined or sued for the lies that they tell. Laws need to be changed to cover lies from a sales person to protect a customer and their co-workers as well. Most salesmen think people are stupid and will not catch them in a lie and will make another lie up to cover the lies they have already told. This could be bad for business. I will be back in the dealership in four months to see Mr. Garrett and find out if he lied to us on the refinance option or if it was just a way to get us to buy right away. The dealership should stand behind anything the salesperson says to make sure they do not have a bunch of back stabbing lying cheating salespeople working for them. Mr. Garrett also said he would have our windows tinted and we could pick out the shade of window tint with it all done for free at the dealership but they did not do it the next day like he said when they cleaned our vehicle for delivery because it was not written on the paperwork so as for lies we have came across a few already. They set up my wife's phone in the vehicle like he said he would but the salesperson said it had a GPS in our vehicle as well and there is no GPS just a back up camera. Not happy with the overall sales from our purchase. DO we like the vehicle? Yes we do. Do we think Fredy Kia should re-evaluate their sales department to make it a better customer buying experience? Yes we do. Do we feel we have gotten ripped off by some lies and misinformation by the dealership? Yes we do. Do we feel it will help to complain? No we think the dealership and its management will care less about the issues we have and will not try to make anything correct since they have already made the sale.

I called two days in a row to confirm if they had the used 2019 Kia forte S with 3k miles on it and they said they did. The next day I call an hour before heading to the dealership to confirm if they still had it and they confirmed that they did. I get there and find out they've never had the car and said sorry but we have these other cars you won't want for thousands of dollars more.It's been a month and they still have it on their website and other car listing sites. They're a joke

Honestly the process is swift, friendly staff somewhat sort of welcoming, But Run away from this lot,My experience I leased a car for 500 Friday left lot to gas up and couldnt even turn the car back on afterwards ,but no worries I was only down the street Sam the salesman came right away ,it was a bad battery so they gave it a charge, and I head home , minutes before work i go out to start the car and to my surprise it wont start,so car sat up in the driveway thru the weekend ,Monday i dropped it back off for inspection I was told and for a New battery, No call no answer, until Wednesday I pick car back up from lot but dejavu all over again I get back home and notice things that was suppose to be fix was actually fix BUT THINGS THAT WAS ALREADY FIX is now broken,Oh and that battery was replace with yet another bad battery so it sat up once again until the next morning( Thursday )I dropp it back off for fixing once again no direct answer until Today , Get there it's the wait game,finally done 7hrs later. But now I cant leave lot until. I make 1st week payment as if I had it long enough to drive a week work of carnote.

The WORST dealership I have ever went to I wouldn't refer them to anyone! If I could zero stars or even negative I would the pre-owned where I had gotten the car from, a week late with my payment as I was being transitioned to another job they came and picked up my car after I had already explained I would be making the payment that week. I'm disgusted never have I ever experienced a company taking a car for a week late payment and to add to it the car was a piece of crap they were selling at 14,000 for a 2007 cobalt. Radio didn't work, the lights didn't work basically it was a junk car from an accident they tried to piece back together. Lock switches didn't work on the drivers side glove compartment fell apart when I tried to open it. So it was a rip off from the start.

Went here to see if I would be able to get out from the ridiculous amount I have upside down. Issac walton assisted me. I knew what I wanted to do was pretty much impossible but issac was very helpful and knowledgeable and tried the best he could to get where I wanted to be on a payment. I'd recommend issac as he is a very honest person and guaranteed to work hard for his customers. I'll be back for sure in the future!

I m a former employee and former customer , so definitely heed my warning. I first started here about a year and a half ago. They whole time I was there it was hard to sell because of the deceptive strategies they use here. Telling customers a vehicle was here so they could show up only to an excuse on why the vehicle wasn t there. I ve seen them put a customer in a vehicle knowing for a fact that the engine was bad , once the engine went bad they told the customer that she needed to fix it on her own. I ve seen them put a customer in a vehicle knowing the breaks were bad and the customer ended up wrecking and harming their family due to the fact that The vehicle s maintenance was ignored. AND STILL they refused to take responsibility this place is a JOKE!!!!
The last last example I will give is my own customer experience. I came to the in-house department letting them know I needed a short term loan on a decent car. They ended up putting me in a 5 year loan totaling 23k on a car that was maybe worth 2k. I know how interest works but man do they take advantage of whoever they can lol I ended up getting a 2011 Chevy Malibu from them , I had it ONE week before it started sputtering and dying out in the street , I took it to a mechanic and 4 out of 6 injectors were bad due lack of maintenance. So out of my own pocket it paid exactly 657.93. Due to the fact that I had to pay out of pocket because they sold it as is I was short on my first payment which included a deferred payment. I told the General manager of the in-house department my situation and he told if you don t have the full payment just bring it back I was anstonished at how disrespectful someone I once considered a friend and a great co worker could treat me. At that point I just allowed them to pick the vehicle up due to the fact that he was right. I did Buy the vehicle as is , and I was still responsible for the payment. But I still thought maybe they d understand and it s kinda ridiculous how this company treats their customers and employees. EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM ANY FREDY RELATED BUSINESS.

Not ONLY finance but my wife being sick with the flu and wanted to get in and out and the whole process was fast and DONE. I recently bought a vehicle at this dealership. My rating is based on the lack of customer service or perhaps better described as non existing. I don't recall the sales mans name. I believe it was Freddie Williams, but when it comes to sales that's all he was about. He pretty much tries to get you to sign stuff. The few times I asked him how certain features worked he couldn't put his phone down long enough to show me. He would just point me in the direction of the service department and tell me to ask them? The customer service Manager shows little concern for the customer as well. When he tries to get me to submit 5 star reviews and if I can't he would address my concerns. I told Rafael Chavez my concern in different emails which he apparently disregards with no response. It seems only thing he can send is automated emails. Other then that the General Manager was helpful and Mr Reed in Finance was great.

By far the worst experience ever!!! Went in on November 9 and traded my truck in for a 2018 Silverado. The truck did not have original keys and no alarm remote and every-time we turned it on it said theft deterrent. After a couple days they told me to drop off the truck so they could install the remote and that would fix the problem. They had the truck for a week... the loaner we were given has paper plates that expired the next day.. I was pulled I was pulled over for driver with expired plates. Made multi trips to the lot to get paper plates. When we finally got the truck back still was not working properly. Still has aftermarket key and remote. Made another trip to actually speak to the manager who kept brushing us off showed him the key and he was shocked stated yes this would be the issue and would order us a key. After a week of waiting the truck just would not turn on anymore. I was left stranded and wasn t able to get back to work. Multi calls to sales person and lot and no one was trying to help. That evening I got a ride to the lot and asked for a loaner. Was told the truck would be towed the next day and problem would be resolved. A week passed by and the truck had not been towed I went up to the lot again. They finally got it towed a couple days later. The truck was finally ready 2 weeks after they towed it. Still had aftermarket key. The day after the truck would not start AGAIN so once again I was stranded trying to get to work. It was embarrassing to have to get a jump from someone in a new truck.... dealer is not
Trying to make this right... that day I drove the truck to the lot and since it was turning on ok I was told they couldn t do anything until it didn t work again

To look at it... well here we are 4 days later and the truck didn t start again !!!! Gettin the run around and I feel like they just don t care. I m close to losing my job because of this issue!!! 4 times the vehicle does not
Turn on and I m unable to get to work. Do not waste your time here. I have been more than patient with them and this issue but this is ridiculous now.

Horrible place lies they do not car about there customers. Had emailed Mark and talked to other staff members. Set up appointment for 2016 Kia Sarento. They told over and over they had. The night before our appointment I got food poisoning from Taco bell. I call them explained I might not make to the appointment super sick throwing up.ect. Oh thats fine said I might try to make a little if up to it. I asked still her then did they still have it in stock yes ma. I went ahead and dragged myself from La Porte all the way over there anyways because I didnt want it to get sold. Mind you I pulled over twice on the side of the road throwing up just to get there. With 3 kids! Even told them when I got there again hey fighting food poisoning but I had to see this car we had the money already approved through JSC. They came back well it got sold YESTERDAY!

She kept transferring me to people with no answer only to tell me they're in a meeting after waiting . Why didn't she just say that from the beginning . Then when I asked her that she got an attitude like I was wrong . I was simply trying to speak with someone and kept getting the runaround . It's been a long time since I bought a brand new car (Honda, Nissan); as soon as I walked in, they did their best to make sure I drove out in a new car! I was impressed. It's their job, they did it, I'm happy. I really needed a new car. I qualified as new car buyer! I love the people who work there, they know what they're doing, especially the atmosphere, loved the praise music. I wish each and everyone of them the best of luck! And thank to my brother in law who recommended fredykia,, he has bought several cars from them also, very satisfied!!

UPDATE: (10-28-19) I went back and there were all new employees! Some familiar faces in finance still but since I paid cash they weren't much to say to them. My salesman Elmer was so helpful and truly tried to help me by giving me the knowledge he knew about the cars there. The manager Rodney was so silly and I feel he genuinely gave me the best deal he could give me. There was a mistake but he quickly fixed it while sitting in finance office! If you need anything go to them for help! Let them know Ms. Leslie sent ya!

2 years ago: Every time I come here it is a horrible experience!!! The customer service is trash! The men working in finance are cruel, they left me talking to my self when I asked questions. Ignored me as if I was a hobo in the street! I purchased 2 vehicles from here and once I buy it the customer service goes down the drain!!! Nasty people with nasty attitudes!

The salesman kept trying to convince us to get the car we TOLD him would not work for our family of 5 (Kia Soul- 3 of us are between 5'8 and 5'10!). Ran our credit without full disclosure. Sales person would NOT take no for an answer and then sent others to try to change our minds. Will NOT be back.

He was very helpful and answered all my questions over the phone before I drove there. Which help me know what I would need in order to complete my application process. And, I had all I needed and was able to drive of the lot in my new 2011 Jeep Patriot. I tell you Mr. Miko Bernstine was very professional and kind. Sometime back, my previous car had been flooded and I was looking for a replacement vehicle. I saw a car listed on their website, and I called ahead to see if it was still available. The person on the phone says yes, it is still available. When I get there minuets later, they make me wait for almost half an hour, and they try to sell me different cars without even having the integrity to tell me the car I wanted was off the market. Instead of respecting my time during one of the most stressful weeks of my life, they tried to take advantage of the situation. Very disorganized, and very disrespectful dealership. I wouldn't buy here if it was the last dealership on Earth.

My experience was great! Terard Jackson made the process smooth and easy. We walked in and he greeted us at the door. We did some negotiating and I was able to get my brand new car! I would give him 5 stars if I only could rate him. The reason I am only putting 4 is that the financing department needs some work. It took over 30mintues before we were seen to sign the final paperwork. I have never waited that long for the financing department. Besides that I am in love with my new Kia Sprotage! If I could give less of a review I would. My SUV is under warranty, they had to replace the fuel pump on it in January. Took them a week to do it. Now it is in because I am reading E with a full tank of gas in the car. I told them when I turned in the keys to them. When they looked at it, they said it is now reading a 1/4 of a tank, however, my digital reading has 000 miles on it on how far I can go till I hit E. They are now calling me again on what is wrong... I am unsure on why you have to call the customer again on what is wrong with the car if you already told them. If a customer tells you what is wrong with the car, I don't understand why not look at it before calling the customer? All this tells me that they are guessing on what is wrong and not looking at the problem of the car.
