I can definitely say my experience here was enjoyable with a very lively environment, I am very satisfied with the professionalism they provided from the front of the door to the desk and till the end till I drove off in my brand new Kia Optima. Nathaniel was my sales person and he provided excellent and truthful service. When ever I return to upgrade or purchase a new vehicle he is the salesperson I prefer and also advise for anyone purchasing at Fredy Kia to stop by and give him a visit!

I saw the car I wanted. It was a nice little car. I was told the taxes, license and registration was a certain dollar amount. When I found out what the true cost was I tried to negotiate the dollar amount they told me it was. Because, I knew they were charging me twice in what the actual cost of the taxes and license. I was told the price is set. I assumed that they really was not trying to sell that car and didnt expect me to do my homework. I wont be going back!

I have always been greeted by Jesse Banda who made us feel comfortable every time I have purchased a vehicle and he showed us around and guided us through the available cars.
I must say that his the best person to purchase vehicles from, his very honest and has been my best car shopping experience. Jesse Banda has always been very informative and has always answered our questions patiently. I have referred several friends to him and they loved their experience as well. Do not recommend this dealership. Worst experience ever. Very nice to sell you a vehicle, once you sign . it all changes. Nobody cares. Will not return calls instead of getting a manager they give you a sells person to deal with you.finally got a manager said he would call me back in 15 minutes never called me back. So that s why employees don t care. Managers are bad example. Bottom line is stay away from fredy Kia.

I hear a lot of dealerships talk about family.... This dealership is truly a family dealership. Now all family is not perfect, but at the end of the day......Family has your back... So check this family out and become a part of it...You will not be sorry..... And it has hands down the best service department in the Houston area!

I went in today after visiting 6 dealerships. I told the guy that I wanted to look at fortes. I was told I had to run my credit before I could even test drive. Ok. Fine. After he left the 3rd time to help someone else I got a little annoyed and asked how long until the appraisal on my truck would be done .... 5 min he said. Ok. My phone was dying so I walked to the truck that had not moved and charged my phone after 15 min I go back in and am told I am approved for the car I want. Well sorta a 2017 when I wanted a 2016 (that no one could find but was in inventory) great ok how much can you give me on my truck. " it all depends" is the answer I got. Ummmm no. So now I'm angry since someone comes and grabs him to go PUT GAS IN SOMEONE'S ELSE CAR while he is trying to help me. So what that says to me is 1.because I need special financing I'm not important and 2. I don't need to earn your business. I had to demand my keys to my truck and I left. I am highly disappointed in kia and they are a great car. But I won't be back to this dealerships. Such a shame.

Worst dealership. Told me to come to dealership for test drive. Then said manager is buying the Kia stinger for his daughter and can t let me test drive. Not customer friendly. Lied about how other dealer quote added other bonuses to reduce price. Did not listen to what I was saying. Could have just told me they didn t wanna sell the car. Sam Smith was the sales rep that I dealt with.

I went in with the intentions on purchasing a used vehicle and ended up leaving with a 2019 and was so shocked that my salesperson (AK) provided me with so much knowledge as to why it was better to get a new vs an old. AK, his manager (don't remember his name), Gill, and Rodney were the perfect display of amazing customer service. Made an appointment with the service department to get some work done on my wife s car. Once I got there I watched several employee s just have conversations amongst themselves and not even acknowledge our presence. After about 10 minutes someone finally came to greet us. The gentleman was in a VERY unpleasant mood and acted like it was an inconvenience we were there. Once I confirmed my appointment I was handed a COVID sheet and told to call a phone number to let them know I was there. Of course no one answered the number I was to call. Needless to say I promptly put the vehicle in reverse and put this sad dealership in the rear view mirror.

I called to check on a specific car, schedule an appointment to test drive and discuss details, called sales person 20 minutes before to confirm and when I get to the dealership I was told the car was sold that morning. Pretty unethical way to make me drive 20 miles and try to sell me a different car.
Stay away from Fredy KIA.
What they did might not be illegal but extremely unprofessional.

Went to this place a couple of times. Big mistake. The first time, they said I had to make an appointment for a maintenance, which I had coupons for. Second time (making an appointment) they said that they don t take coupons because they have to wait a few months for the check to come in . Then I drove half an hour to the Baytown dealership to turn in my coupon for maintenance, and the total cost with/without a coupon book is $34.50. So I paid nearly $1,000 from KIA for a coupon book for maintenance service that is good for four years, drove to Baytown for service, all for them to save $35. Congratulations KIA Gulf Freeway dealership, after today you ve lost me as a customer forever.

The body shop/ maintenance shop has the worst coustomer service. You would be lucky if they even answer your phone call. My vehicle came out worse than when i took it in. Couldnt get the maintenance manger to even return a phone call. My vehicle was there for two months and they picked up the phone and called me once. Said my truck woukd be ready on a Friday and when I called Friday no one answered, didnt talk to any one until monday after at least 20 phone calls. They bad mouthed my insurance company, saying they were the worse insurance, yet they are the prefered dealer of my insurance and the manager has a advertisement sign of my insurance in his office.
The worst coustomer service I have ever recieved in my life, Period.

Front desk service dept personnel is great but mechanic experience not too good. Oil changed and tires rotated which I paid for and got free oil change . However my psi on my tires was all off . 28,31,41 43.. I don't see how they say they checked it and car clearly shows when turned on how much psi each tire has .. not happy at all with this visit.

Went to Archer Kia with no issues and done in 45 minutes. Don't waste your time to be treated badly. Worth driving to Archer.

Came in for a state inspection. Listened to 2 employees argue loudly near the customer waiting area and there were some cuss words in there. Car was state inspected quickly and for a good price! Update: they called and were very apologetic about the behavior I overheard. I definitely appreciated the phone call. Still plan on taking my car to them when needed.

I was quoted a price of $229, 3 times by 3 different people
One of the issues that were supposed to be fixed was not. No one followed up with me to tell why the issue was not fixed. I ended up going home and reading my car manual to figure out why it was not Fixable
After 3 days of waiting for the service manager not reaching back out to me when I had left a message for him I ended up putting a request online before finally getting a call back from him. Took ME the customer reaching out twice.
When I talked to Ed Allison (Service Manager) he apologized for the misunderstanding and told me that the service was always $229 and the roters were separate pricing. Although he was nice I don t believe he handled the situation the best he could. (Leaving the customer happy and satisfied) Instead he told me the 3rd guy who quoted me was new. He didn t speak on the first 2 people who quoted me the same price.
I am a single mom who knows nothing about cars. I trusted my dealership to take care of me and instead was miss lead and ended up paying a whopping $364.59 I was getting a Break and roter service done When I was called and informed the roters were Now not included and were $108 apiece. I could only afford to get one replaced and they Refurbished the other one the best they could.
As a manager I would have took full responsibility for 3 of my employees quoting a customer wrong & the appointment not put in twice. 2. They did not explain in detail about what the service actually included. 3. He says sorry but I feel like I should have not been responsible for the not only the $108 for my one roter I was able to afford but I would have replaced the second one free of charge. Lesson learned. You make a mistake ITS OK. Just fix it. $216 is not worth a bad review and an unsatisfied customer? BUT oh well the money is spent and now here I am having to write a review and will sadly never return to this dealership because of the way Ed Allison and his employees treated me.

I had previously given this place a 5-star rating. Allow me to correct my error in light of several issues that have recently come to light. The moral of the story: If it seems to be too good to be true, it probably is.

I purchased a 2015 Kia Optima in 2017 from Fredy Kia, on the premise that the car had been a floor model. I was given a "great price" on a car that only had 4000 miles on it. A month and a half ago, I went to trade the car in for a bigger, stronger vehicle ahead of a move to a snowy climate. Much to my surprise, I found out from the other dealer that the car had been in an accident while it still belonged to Kia. This information was never disclosed to me. Holy negative equity.

I had to stick with the car, because of the negative equity associated with the loss in value as a result of that accident. A week later, I took it in for routine maintenance. The tire pressure light was on, but it was time for a tire rotation so I figured they would check it out. Sure enough, when I left the light was off.

The next morning, the light was back on. I was confused, and looked through the paperwork to make sure they had done the rotation. The mechanic had written in red TIRE NEEDS REPLACING - WIRE SHOWING but had failed to mention it in our exit 'meeting'. I took the car to a tire shop and was horrified to discover that there were indeed wires showing all the way around the tire. (SEE PHOTO)

I finally figured out how to get out from under the crazy negative equity and I bought a Subaru Crosstrek. While finishing up in finance, it was shared with me that when Kia submitted the financing paperwork, they switched my VIN number with someone else's. I had been driving a car for over a year that wasn't even registered in my name.

JUST DON'T DO IT. DON'T. I am looking for any legal recourse I can find, and in the meantime I must advise you to turn around and shop elsewhere.

Very disappointed with the service at this place!!! It was all well, when we walked up to the door, we were greeted by a very nice saleswoman! She was very helpful and tried to help us!! After that, things did not get better!!!! First of all, thay had us up there for hours!! Just to see if thay could come up with something!! Then, thay come to me offering my a car thay wanted me to have!!!!(Not any of the vehicle I wanted or needed) I thought it was my choice??!! And the cars thay wanted me to get, wasn't even there!!!! Then when I asked about the vehicle that I wanted ( 2017 Chevrolet traverse) thay told me it would be $1200 A Month!!!!!! Wow, Really!!!! How desperate do thay think I was!!!! It's not fair that thay are able to put those signs on there Building about $395 down $75 a week!!! When it's not true!!!! If I did not see that!!! I would not have stopped in!!! Best place to start looking for a car. What I love about Fredy Kia is that they have a great customer service, friendly, and warm atmosphere. Very welcoming especially Ariana Maldonado. She gave us a outstanding service. He helped me get my Sorento 2020. I love it!

Horrible and unprofessional dealership!!!! I called and spoke with mark who claimed that he was a sales rep with the dealership. He stated to ask for him when we got there and to at least have $500 down and we would 100% be leaving in a vehicle. We got to the dealership and found out that mark is not a sales rep but instead he's just an appointment setter who schedules appointments for people to come in and see the sales reps. From the moment we walked in the dealership we got nothing but the runaround. They kept asking us how's your credit? When i had already stated to them over the phone that our credit is not that good. Long story short we spent over $35 to get an uber to the dealership and we are now leaving with nothing. The sales rep jonathan asked us what we were looking for. He was asking all these questions because he and the previous 2 sales reps did not communicate with eachother at all all they were doing was just passing us from one sales person to the next. I would not recommend anyone deal with this dealership at all.
