let me start by saying the one star rating does not reflect the salesman that helped me, he deserves five stars! however I was in the market for a nice used car today most looked decent from the outside but once you climb inside, these cars look nothing short of aution cars , one had about a $500 jump box left inside , cups , trash , dirt ,and even some finger nails in one! I wasnt looking at old cars either were talking 17's and 18's looking ROUGH! automatic fail on cleanliness to start. I looked at and drove quite a few and was actually interested in the honda pilot, granted it was a wreck on the inside as far as being clean and needed some bodywork on the rear but for the right price it would be worth it ..or so you would think. We went inside (thank god!!, it was hotter than satans kitchen today) the salesman went to get some numbers and I was approached by a man , didnt introduce himself first off , proceeded to ask questions with a certain condescending tone that took me by surprise ..do i live here, is the car for me , am I trading..all odd especially with the tone , pretty much setting up to get to the following and I quote "youve been here awhile now hu?" i said yes sir about an hour and a half (mind you I answered all off his questions politely ) he said " well were just waiting on you turned around and said just waiting on you (dragged out)as he walked away with the tone like im annoying him and ive been at the dealership too long. I was in shock , as someone who has spent around 8 hours at a dealership before and no one ever acted like i was over staying my welcome. I was fixing to trade a paid for car and stroke a check for double what they would have given me for the trade but I cannot spend my money with people who support someone speaking to anyone like that and making a potential customer feel like that! come to find out it was the finance manager! A manager yall!!!! as a manager you should set an example for other employees and hopefully no one else shares that mindset! I will continue to be a customer of toyota , at least they have clean cars , and outstanding customer service no matter how long you stay! this is what I get for trying something new, lesson learned !!!
