Massive market, lots of choice good prices.nice way to spend a sunday
I liked it, but didn't have much of a choice of toys. And I found it expensive, the shops close to home are cheaper now in rebajas.
Sunday afternoon vermouth and as many tapas as you can handle.
Incredible Sunday flea market. Literally miles long.
A shame all empty all that has been lost the charm has been lost all the truth that is sad to see
A market of the most diverse. It is worth spending the morning looking at stalls without forgetting the shops at street level. Highly recommended.
I was hoping for something else, I took the main street and I only saw Chinese items, few crafts, no antiques as I read publicized, I left quickly
I really like places where all kinds of people have a place. Not only recommended for tourists as a typical site, opportunities, second hand, even broken doll heads. Who wants to buy that? Well, there is everything in the world. If you want to see Madrid, essential.
Characteristic maze of narrow streets dedicated to the flea market and the antique dealer. However, both shops and street stalls are poorly kept with generally low-interest trinkets. The atmosphere in Madrid is certainly striking. However, if you are in Madrid, you have to see it on Sunday morning.
Great outdoor market that expands over many, many streets. Flea market (in info section) doesn't do it justice - all sorts of new items - clothes, jewelry, shoes, sunglasses, belts, fabric, even some kitchen equipment. Would definitely recommend.
It's a crowded flea market on Sundays, which is probably worth a stroll. Goods on offer lean more to the cheap (print tshirts and cheap off brand cell accessories) than artisanal. There are some good buskers around.
Hard to find cool old stuff, but many typical souvenirs and goods
Too much fun, sounds, colors, mixing in the crowd and living a Spanish morning. A really nice experience, very well organized and controlled.
Typical of Madrid to visit it from time to time. It is very large and there is a lot of people but you have to go see it !!!!
Great atmosphere, and a lot of people. Everyone can find something interesting there.
El Rastro is a street market organized in the neighborhood of La Latina. You will find articles of all kinds, from crafts to clothes and accessories, kitchen utensils, disks and second-hand magazines, objects of various types dating back to different ages. There are also many shops in the area that sell antiques. Very busy, but worth going there. Every Sunday from 9am.
As a result of the current affairs in Madrid, the trail is a leisure and meeting area, hopefully it will be the same as always where you find all kinds of belongings and genres
Sunday flea market of Madrid, the largest in Europe is better known for its energy and community spirit.
A place where you can find a lot of things ... Very entertaining
Typical flea market of Madrid, also cheap clothing and jewelry
I
It likes a lot but there are too many people, mainly it is full of tourists. Prices are not very low, but it is a tradition to visit it at least once a year.
It is an emblematic place in Madrid, beautiful and worthy of being visited, but it is also overwhelming due to the amount of tourists there and the rise in prices in recent years has been noticed a lot. I find everything very expensive to be a Rake.
Good flea market which is quite large. Only small weakness is that his farm early anyway ...
I went this weekend, and there is not much order between the sellers, they should be more careful with the distancing
Place of obligatory visit, very traditional and typical of Madrid, there is an ambientazo from in the morning, here you can find everything and then lose yourself in its streets and take the aperitif.
It is a shame because it is no longer what it was although it still maintains some of its magic
Super Sunday plan in Madrid, starts type 9 am and lasts until 3 pm. Very native plan and where you will find thousands of things and memories to buy or give away. I recommend arriving more at noon to have a coffee and go when there are fewer people and the street is a little more free
Universal experience - stuff made in China, interspersed with local barn finds
If you are in Madrid on a Sunday I recommend walking for a while, you can find everything, the only bad thing is that there is always a lot of people!
Sundays are wonderful here. My favorite time is fall and spring.
Nice market,
Full with people on Sundays
I love this place! Never come to Madrid without a visit. Great variety, atmosphere, and you can always find a few hidden gems.
Dangerous area to go at night, my fanny pack was stolen on a shoot, but the rest of the day is great
Typical setting in Madrid, perfect for a Sunday morning
Very crazy the place and diverse products. I just didn't like the sea of people. It seems that all of Madrid has arranged a meeting at the fair, kkkkkk
You cannot be in Madrid without visiting a different market on Sunday at the Trail. An ideal place to taste the typical cuisine of Madrid an exquisite barrel vermouth. I recommend it to everyone
Tents with interesting products
Always busy but worth the ride.
Simply the best flea market in Madrid. It expands from La Latina to Embajadores neighborhood. It does get very crowded, but if you are up for a Sunday morning stroll, El Rastro is a must. You will find almost anything there
Ideal for a walk on Sunday morning, you can find anything and also take some typical Madrid cap. The bad thing about Sundays with lots of people. Must see
It is immense. To see everything you need at least two Sundays (or maybe three) if you want to see it carefully. I have known him for over 30 years. I liked it better in those days, but it is still "milk".
Large market, lively and picturesque. A must visit if in town! Vintage clothing, sunglasses, leather accessories, tees and much more. Fair prices for a fun Sunday morning in Madrid!
Things you must do in Madrid on sunday morning! I love rastro!
It is an experience, you cannot be in Madrid and leave without visiting it. On the trail you find anything you imagine. The best street musicians who put sound to this unique experience, certainly highly recommended
Too crowded and the things they sell are very cheap and bad quality. Still interesting to go and have a look just for the experience.
Nice flea market. Very crowded but great place to visit
If you come to Madrid you can't miss it ... take a walk around its antique stalls ... and then take a vermouth ...
My wife was unhappy because there were no antiques. Just rows and rows of cheap clothing. She does not recommend.
A large market that occupies an entire neighborhood of Madrid. It is full-fledged Madrid heritage. We should all come more often. There are always interesting things to see or buy. There are both antiques and clothing stores, records, bags ...
Colourful vibrant flee marcket, going early it's better as it gets very busy after 10:00 many things to buy ...
My wife and I went here on a Sunday in December 2019. It was a nice stroll but we generally found the quality and variety of goods underwhelming. No, we did not want to buy used Levi jeans or used Colombia or North Faced jackets. If you are in Madrid on a Sunday it s worth a stop by but don t plan on spending too much time here. It s definitely crowded so watch your belongings carefully.
Avoid this after noon on a nice Sunday. Entirely too crowded and there isn't great stuff for sale. Some lucky antique or unique finds, otherwise nothing special. Not worth the crowd and frustration.
An emblematic place in Madrid that does not have to disappear, even if it is going through bad times now, it will be there again in its place, because the Rastro is also Madrid.
For me the best of Madrid. It is history of the city. Now, try to enjoy it in the circumstances that you can. Those who do not know it, will have to return in 2021. Great walking the streets to finish having a vermouth or a beer in the infinite number of places in the area. The vermouth of Muniz and the Galician wines of Xentes are sacred.
Do not miss these buying and selling spaces. They are great, they give opportunity to see the reality of the environment, without masks, no matter how much great towers and monuments build us. The reality of the street sneaks into these spaces
To go very occasionally is fine. Many stalls and great variety.
Ideal to spend Sunday morning.
Disadvantages, parking and the crowding of people ...
Then there are the food sites located in a humble neighborhood and that take advantage of the trail to put prices for the clouds that would not sell anything any other day with those prices in that neighborhood
It could be hated by the large number of people who visit it. But you cannot travel to Madrid and not attend the show on a Sunday morning at El Rastro
The best flea market in the world. Better than those in Paris. Better than those in London. Better than those in Rome. Better than The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. And so many others.
Quite a lot of clothes, not enough varied flea market
The father of all unreachable traces in one day must be done in parts and little by little there is everything but you have to be careful with fakes and other issues, it is worth it.
Madrid's place that has lost its charm of yesteryear seems more like a beach market than they do on Sundays in any coastal city, but to find antiques and curious things an excellent place. Prices are not what they were .... as an acquaintance always says we will have wallapop!
I love the Trail. You can find everything. Beautiful ride.
It is peculiar strange typical and cheerful you can find anything
It is something magical! Our beloved Madrid trail! During the week it does not go unnoticed for its alleys, passages and hidden places ... but it does. Visits on weekends everything changes! And when I say everything is everything! There are thousands of street vendors to eat, shops from more than 100 years ago (no matter the crises that happen there will continue) and their peculiar personalities ... both Madrid and foreigners! It is worth visiting at least once a year and if you do not know it yet, I invite you to do it any Sunday of the year! You will not regret it and I am sure you will find everything you did not even know you were looking for!
I love. It only works on Sundays. You can easily reach on foot from the center, but by subway. You have to go with time. It is an open-air market with many options to buy and I found products of very good quality and at a great price.
I went a long time without going, many years. And it's just as charming. We must repeat!
The main street of the market is fine and nice, but if you have a thing for really vintage things you should go to the side streets, it is packed with second hand clothes, antiques, records, books and what not :-) good atmosphere!
A flea market in Madrid very, very busy and above all varied, I liked it (only on Sundays)
As always you find what you are looking for a traditional atmosphere and tapas
Looks like people are selling things collected from the garbage.
Dirty, crowdy...
