Flea Market Rastro Review

It is a place to visit in Madrid. It is located on Tanners Street and reaches the Latina. There are stalls of old books, t-shirts, leather garments, dresses, records, crafts. I highlight a stand of socks with socks at a very good fantasy price all very fashionable. In that same street on the sides there are some antique shops that are also interesting.

Really good sized out door market, most stalls we're set up by about 0900. All sorts of things from rusty old junk (one stall had lots of old keys) to brand new clothes and cookware. About the only thing not available was food.

Sunday market, lots of vintage clothing and accessories, cheap souvenirs. To visit. I suggest going there in the morning before 10 there is a little less confusion.

Very good atmosphere, you can buy a little of everything and have some octopus or gulas toast almost at the same time. If you go with children, changing cards or superzings is also perfect or buying those difficult ones to finish the collection.

Cheapest prices. Good quality clothes and a nice way to chill on sundays.

There are lots of people too, so be careful with pickpockets.
The nearby restaurants are very nice and totally affordable.

The trail of a lifetime but in a big way, if you want to go through all the places you can get up early and be clear that you are going to throw yourself there almost all day. You can find antiques, jewelry, clothes, games, books, everything!

Typical Sunday for spanish people, it s a huge flea market so make a note that it closes at 3:30 so you need some time! They have a variety of shops for everyone!

Wooow what a market!!!! So many bargains and things you want to buy....but be aware of po let stealing and people trying to beg money out of you..otherwise fab place to walk around ..you need at least 3 hrs;) and make aur2 you come early around 9am as it gets crowded later on
