A typical place in Madrid. A must for anyone passing through Madrid.
A huge selection of everything that is possible starting from trash at a flea market to antiques, from all kinds of collection cards to clothes and shoes.
Excellent place get all... You can get all Spain famous items here..
A must do on a Sunday in Madrid.
Grab a bargain
Pretty much anything you need is for sale here,
With so much camera that the city council has put up to collect, it is no longer the neighborhood of letters. Now it is the complete alphabet! so you can't go to the trail by car, fashion is now on a bicycle, now you hope that before they kick out the super mayor of Madrid, who's shitting she's doing, the pet tax will come in. Go, go ... Spaniards, foreigners and without papers we are paying for the crisis and the vices of the government, city council and public coffers.
The United People Will Not Be Defeated
Market very and too touristy but there is a lot to see. Many flea shops and second hand market on the main street. To see for the atmosphere.
Huge open air market opened every Sunday - brace yourself as the amount of people is quite staggering, but the stalls on the sides of the crowded streets going for hundreds of meters will pay off. Pretty much anything you are searching for - from leather bags to 80s retro jackets - you will find here.
Good atmosphere, strongly the reopening of all the shops
Place of visit for all who live or visit Madrid. Giant second-hand market, of curiosities and antiques, of cards and magazines, of what will never be used again and of what is not known how to do it. It ages and transforms like the city itself.
Traditional Spanish market, colorful and lively, full of human warmth with music and smiles.
To spend an entertaining Sunday morning and we walk for a while
Muy buen sitio pero los controles contra el covid son muy innecesarios jaja hasta luegop
Magnificent. To know it in time, your journey must begin knowing that you are not buying anything, neither for yourself nor for presents to friends. The same items already bought at department stores can be purchased More
Must visit if you come to Madrid, always find something new or used at a good price that "needed" .A highly recommended experience for all2
One of my best experiences in Madrid. You can find anything you want. From clothes to things decorate your house. Such a colorful bazaar ! Its so crowded but i love it !!!
It's great to take a walk and come home with your hands full
Awesome and authentic flea market of Madrid. Do not miss it if you're in Madrid on a Sunday... And discover the vibe of the bars of the neighborhood of La Latina!
A very spacious street sale with magnificent street musicians, with very good quality products, with only one, but a little more variety of genre is missing
It is very good you can go for a walk around there and because you see a lot of variety for one to buy because if you want one you want one, there is a lot of variation, it seemed good to walk through those sides very different from others that have gone
Best market ever and also the busiest I've ever seen. The street is filled with benches and totally random products. If you're still there, ask her for a poem. Tell him a little about yourself and get out of there.
A must C lots of stalls selling everything and more ! Very busy but don't forget to look behind the stalls at the shops, again lots of goods and food
A must not miss on a lazy Sunday.
Madrid's flea market is open only on Sunday.
It is recommended to arrive early. The market closed at 1500.
You can devote about two hours to the place and walk around the various stalls while stopping to the beer with a small tapas ..
It is recommended to get lost in the streets adjacent to the market. Less crowded than the market itself and much nicer. The atmosphere is hip and young.
Enjoy
Wonderful market in the heart of Madrid. Very extensive, it really offers everything, clothing, local crafts, antiques ... The presence among the stalls of many street artists, mostly musicians or real local bands, is very beautiful. Superb!
Market with a variety of products from around the world, items from used clothing, new from big brands and no brand variety of handicraft items. Antiques of all kinds and prices. Bars with tapas for all tastes. A good place to spend a morning.
They are only open on Sundays and sales are only until 2pm. In the street vendors
El Rastro is an experience. The crowds are huge. There's a lot being sold. Finding anything worthwhile is pretty hard and requires considerable effort.
Very varied and quite organized. I went early and they were still building the kiosks. I think it is better to go near 1pm. I will definitely see what I find again.
What am I going to tell you that you do not know about the Madrid trail anymore ... An ideal place to lose yourself on Sunday morning watching the stalls and having a drink in any of the bars in the area. There are usually many people, so I recommend you be careful with the thefts to enjoy the morning. I recommend strolling through the surrounding streets where you can also find interesting things.
Found a great leather purse that was made in Spain!
It is not just a weekly market held on Sundays in Madrid (until 3pm). El Rastro is an experience, between more and less particular stalls and guys playing along the way. My favorite is that of two guys who proposed costume photos in the 1920s style. Romanticissimo!
Cheerful market where you can find everything. They put it on Sunday mornings in Madrid between Ambassadors and the Plaza de la Cebada
So much to see :) the market is great possibility to buy antic furniture and decoration. Nowadays 10-20% of stalls were selling China/India textiles.
A conjunction of supply and demand of all types of products. A very beautiful shopping tour where also offers of all kinds of art, mainly artistic and especially musical. No one can miss this gift.
Super, super cute. Thank you
More of everything. This market is huge and is the place where the people of Madrid spend Sunday (the only day of apettura) strolling, chatting and looking for something useful to buy. And after a long walk, what could be better than sitting down to drink an aperitif and accompanying it with half a dozen tapas in one of the many (I don't know what to call them) taverns that are located in El Rastro.
Today I have also been. For obvious reasons of health security, there has not been the installation of their posts or stalls, although it was announced that yes, but at the last minute there will not have been the consequent agreement. Yes, the stationary stores did open to the public.
Typical place of curiosities and antiques, place to have a snack and spend Sunday mornings.
It is very good because you find variety of everything at an unbeatable price, such as new jacket suits, antiques, etc. The only thing that many times you can not see well anything about the amount of people that take you on volandas
It is the best thing to do on a Sunday morning. The visual spectacle on offer is fascinating. The variety of items on display is overwhelming and you can always find what you have always wanted to have.
Beautiful to see all these people gathered but would I buy anything? No.
Nice reminds me of my childhood you find everything
I am a pure-strain cat from Madrid, and my father and mother already took me and my little brothers the best place in the world to spend a Saturday morning or holiday for children and adults by far.
A different Sunday around in stalls that expose the most disparate things from military memorabilia to vintage cameras, antique furniture, coins, telephones from all eras and anything that might come to mind
Very big market and just so many people. I get a bit antsy in crowds so I couldn't stay long.
What a busy area, crazy, anything that you need, and everything you don't.
Nice place for bargain hunters and lovers of objects ... traders are very nice .. interesting articles of different styles .... antiques and flea market
It is a very popular market in Madrid, where you can get everything from clothes at incredible prices, crafts, jewelry, bags, sheets, antiques, curiosities, food, shops. People everywhere, singers, very funny characters, who for a coin allow you to take a picture with them. I really loved it .. And the prices, from Madness. Do not hesitate to visit it
In my opinion it has lost a bit in recent years, but it is still one of the best ways to spend Sunday in Madrid.
Great must-visit in Madrid aperitif after the visit typical charming places for a luxury Sunday
It is not what it was, there are only container clothing stalls, used
Too many people and all the stores are a bit shabby, but the truth is that it is cool to walk around and laugh with the cutties that are sold.
Madrid is sold out. Lots of people but very fun. It has everything. For all tastes and pockets.
A beautiful place to share with your family, a must if you live or are visiting Madrid.
A very interesting place to get to know. There's a lot to see and buy, from souvenirs, clothes, antiques, jewelry. Looking right to find great prices. Go willing to walk and share the space with hundreds of people. Just be careful with your belongings. Place your backpack or bag facing forward, avoiding pickpockets.
I love markets and this one was one of the most cool ones! Live music played by various street artists, our favorite was a group called Ataca_Paca, they put up a great show that kids and adults end up enjoying!
Famous market in the centre of the city, get there early as it fills up very quickly. Lot of places to eat around the area. Haggle and you will get the bargains.
A very large flea market, where you can really make really great bargains. Trading and haggling with the sellers was fun. You get very cheap silver jewelry on the El Rastro
This street market is a great place to go on Sundays. You can buy cheap stuff in the little stalls, there are amazing antic shops, lots of mountaneering shops, and great places to try the local food. Not to be missed!!
Excellent place where you can find all kinds of items and clothing. Very low prices on both new and second-hand products. Recommendable!
Fun place to visit. A must if you spend more time in madrid
You find many items even for pets, but stalls with pet supplies have reduced a lot in the last 15 years.
I do much less the number of street stalls birds, especially for the wide variety of items.
Otherwise recommend the visit to those who do not know but better to do so early because of the large influx of public that congregates.
A nice Spanish portese door..good prices good choice
Like any buggy fair, a muvuca, things for tourists to see, we only know
Fun and chaotic, go for the live music wherever you hear it.
There are no stalls and it is the atmosphere of the trail, if they are not, it stops being the trail, the shops almost all closed, a shame
The modern trail, here is not even haggling ... before it was cool.
Massive market that has countless stalls selling used Levi's, old farmhouse tools, vintage watches, books, other oddities and also new items like children's toys. Get there early to beat the crowds and bring a bag for all the treasures you'll inevitably find.
Finally back! Organization of the capacity quite bad
Cool place for trinkets.
Shouldda bought a 15 figurine of Passion Jesus, but was too cheap.
Best to bring a friend to help bargain.
(Check schedule for Sunday flea markets.)
I love going to the trail on Sundays, I see the various positions, sometimes you want to find nothing, others find real curiosities, but above all, after a walk, what I love, is to finish having a snack, either some knives, some toasts ... Uhm, all great!
Sadly El Rastro has become a depressing affair. In the past it was a flea market with everything from used clothes to expensive pieces of art. These days it is quite simply a lot of street vendors selling cheap garbage, mostly the same thing over and over. It isn't fun, it is not worth your time. Spend time in the many antique stores in the area instead - they are closer to what El Rastro was then the current El Rastro.
Bottom of the hill has the real one-of-a-kind stuff we like. Prices get cheaper as you move further away from the La Latina Metro station.
A LOT OF RATERO, it is not what it used to be, it has lost its essence.
A lot of cheating with the posts .... there is only a crowd, I don't like it.
Prices for rich tourism, articles of everything to 100 and massified by the tourist attraction that it has. Some street with flavor to the old trail but articles of little value sold at very expensive prices.
A lot of pickpocket, you have to keep a close eye on your belongings
Wonderful place to walk around and purchase some gifts or books or records. Will get incredibly crowded during the afternoon.
A Sunday morning institution. The flea market is a mix of "professional" stalls and people trying to sell the unsaleable. Keep your wallet/purse secure.
Come early - the streets can get very hot and very crowded during the day. El Rastro is a great Street market for all of your needs: clothes, home furnishings, antiques, books, etc. Well worth a visit!
A great experience. Basically a flea market with people selling everything from antiques to used clothes to native spanish artifacts
There is everything you can imagine. For every taste. Or almost everyone. Always upstairs. Petao Petao Petao. I love
What can be said about the Madrid Trail? A good place to go for a walk on Sunday morning. You can find everything at good prices
Well a market that is well known to everyone. It is done on Sunday morning in the lodge around Plaza Molina.
Good place to find bargains. Good food in restaurants along the streets.
Lugar emblemarico de Madrid, se echan de menos el100%de los puestos.
Me encanta El Rastro de Madrid.
You can get to know the city more closely and plunge into its atmosphere, so here too. It's great, everywhere I try to get into such places - I m looking for bells
