I visited this facility recently and left extremely impressed. From the guided tour, I met some of the uniformed officers and the professionals in dispatch. I couldn't be more proud of the quality leadership of those working. The South Miami Police Department is filled with dedicated and thoughtful professionals. You all are an asset to the people you serve and protect. Wishing you all many blessings and safe travels.

We drank Cuban coffee with Officer A Alvarez and then sat in the car during an assignment. Wow that was exciting. You were all really nice, THANK YOU.
Chief Landa personally gave me a challenge coin, which is in the front in my small collection, I'm very proud of that, thank you Chief Landa ..
And Officer Alvarez invited us to the Cuban coffee and afterwards we were even allowed to participate in a mission, very excitingly exciting, unforgettable.

I would like to say thank you to South Miami police department for helping out my wife today she was traveling to miami and had her vehicle towed out of a parking lot. The tow company which took her car is more then corrupt and was trying to keep her vehicle. When she called them they would hung up the phone on her when she arrived. They were very rude to her and told her to call her lawyer because shes not getting her vehicle back. It could have easily escalated into a huge nightmare I myself work in the tow industry and know how these snacht truck companies work I'm very grateful that she's able to get a vehicle back with the help of the police department. I cannot express how grateful I am that you're department has police officers that can handling a situation like this.
