Amazing, huge popular market. You can find all sorts of things here. It's worth a visit.
Amazing, huge popular market. You can find all sorts of things here. It's worth a visit.
The best place to buy small details to people since there are many artisanal sellers. Very good price in most places and great to spend the morning
Perfect to spend a Sunday morning, enjoying the streets crowded with people, all kinds of non-perishable products, you can find from a frying pan to some earrings, furniture, shoes, and so on. The nice thing is to go after tapas and canes in the area, trying places you can not imagine.
Great for people watching. You will some deals if you look around.
Great open air market in Madrid street after street open every Sunday
A must visit place in Madrid on Sundays as this Sunday market is full of suprise. Mostly they sell souvenirs and clothings, but I was impressed by their antiques. Yeah, a markets with full of antiques booths and shops.
The atmosphere is veey relaxing with lots of restaurants and bars around, so that you can sit down, have a drink to unqind yourself after shopping. I live thwre very much and will come back again for sure.
Great place for cheap and nice fridge magnets and all sorts of souvenirs! Don't miss it!
Going to the trail is always a new experience. You go into ancient Madrid and get steeped in customs
It is a nice market with plenty of stuff but it is extremely crowded which takes away the pleasure of the experience
Good place for visit on morning suday, small artesan shop, good prices and good fornitiures, nice
A lot of choice and for all tastes. Also affordable prices compared to the market of S. Miguel.
Huge flea market. It is enormous and diminutive. There is everything and more especially original Levis jeans at just over 10 euros. You absolutely must go for a walk along the street and look at all the stalls.
Good place to eat some delicious snails, buenisimossssssss.
Nice flea market on Sunday. There are many antique shops around the flea market that you must try if interested. We purchased a lot of souvenirs from here. It was an eventful morning. Some of the stuff there is very unique but you will have to put effort finding them. A must visit if In Madrid on a Sunday.
Now sad without the positions, what interests will the City Council have for not negotiating
You can find from new products to second-hand products becoming antiques with a lot of history. Every Sunday of the year in the morning
One of the most typical places in Madrid. You must visit it if you travel to Madrid
Good place to buy suvernie, got a nice Madrid mug for 3.00
A bit of everything, you have to search well because most things are in a bad state and they charge you a lot
It is wonderful for any Sunday, without a doubt something not to be missed if you come to Madrid and you are here, especially the streets that rise from Toledo's door to Latin, which is all the chicha .... Very cool ...
Although it is atope and more and more. I love that I do not know what and what do I know that after walking for hours taking your snacks ...
They sell all kinds of things, it's spectacular !!!!
An eclectic, wonderful place, you can find anything you can imagine. Of course, be careful with the crowds and pickpockets.
It s an ok place to spend an hour.
Lots of bit and pieces of old times which brings you recollections if you are over 40
If you have children with you , you can explain how the old phone looked or the old iron worked etc.
don t expect to buy anything unless you are into antiques or 2nd hand items.
Hmm! Madridians never take for granted this wonderful and lively street market. Do not miss!
Lugar para pasar un buen rato y comprar cosas interesantes.
Lovely market. Was absolutely thronged with people! Was full of lovely surprises.
Amazing offers here! Best place to buy souvenir, clothing, leather goods toys you name it! Suggest you plan your trip around the weekends, you don t want to miss this. Nearest metro la Latina!
It is very picturesque and of an incredibly varied offer in new and used goods. Its side streets with many old objects are a real delight. In Uruguay there is the Sunday Fair of Tristan Narvaja with similar characteristics
Hahaha to talk you find what you want you just have to search, literally WHAT you want. That if it assures you a dangerous citio to the robbery.
Fantastic, like a town-sized jumble sale, with plenty to look and and bargains to find, but get there early. From 9am till about 10 was ok, but it rapidly became unbearably busy after that!
What a great market, (I found an old photo of the market and a recent one just to show you how many years the market has been going and also to show that it's still as popular today) we started at the top of the street and slowly walked down, that's because it is so busy that a slow walk is all you can do. Hundreds of stalls selling everything from dream catchers through to fur coats. So many bargains to be had. If you are in Madrid on a Sunday and you have the morning free then make sure you visit here. The atmosphere is fantastic, traders touting for business and live music being played everywhere.
Huge market with some interesting stalls. Nice to wander around but be careful with your bags.
As always very nice a lot of everything many people and we love the castizos
A must for tourists and non-tourists, trotting posts and unique stands. Ideal stop buy antiques or take whatever it is in the typical bars with the would share location. Beware of pickpockets and swindlers.
To visit because unlike other markets here there is still a lot of Made in Spain
A very large open air market with lots of vendors and things to see. Prices are very good, if you're in the market. The place is packed with hundreds of people. Beware of pickpockets while you're there.
It is a good Sunday plan, but go to the site early because it gets very full after twelve.
Of everything. Some things finely "aged" for tourists, hehehe. But it is a very entertaining and friendly place. Safety pin
Lovely corner Super useful if you go on antique hunting
The market is very busy throughout the day, the Latina station is full all Sunday, what is mostly sold is clothing for the whole occasion from relatively low to high prices, you can also find pet products and tools for the Home, there are good stalls where they sell second-hand books advertisement excellent price, you can find best seller, history, novels, for students, etc. If you are a foreigner and you want to go looking for bargains, I am sorry but you will not find them, there is a very good atmosphere and in some bars around the market, it has special promotions for Sundays, you can also listen to excellent live music and some snacks. Excellent option if you have too much time to be in Madrid, if you are passing by for my opinion it is not recommended and if you are from Mexico or Latin America, I think you can find better street markets in each country of origin.
Bigger than most flea markets of Europe. But the content is repeating itself inside. Lots of vendors with the same stuff. But you can find some cool stuff if you really look deep enough. Nice bars, shops around the place. Only open on Sundays. Can get REALLY crowded. To the point where you cant walk. Go there early if you want to avoid it.
I do not know buy dresses in the center !!!! Here there are new and divine Miles, I knew it and I wanted to die when I saw them, anyway they are at the same price as in hym Bershka etc, they should be cheaper, around 15 euros.
Icon of Spain, is the largest market in the country, you can find everything, even a Murillo according to some, hundreds of positions. From movies and second-hand magazines to period furniture to decorate TV series. More
Cheaply priced and cheaply made goods. The 'antique' booths often had the same things if you walked down a ways to another booth, so obviously not originals. It was crowded and a bit overwhelming for me and my husband. We love a good bargain but this was not for us. If you're only in Madrid a few days, I'd skip this and get your souvenirs from little shops which sell the same things.
Always a point of interest for foreign people. The truth essence of Madrid and its people.
Very welcoming staff
Simple and good meal
Desert super good
Do not just go through the main road, Ribera de Curtidores, the transversal and parallel save many surprises.
Good gastronomic offer in the bars of the area.
Very busy in the central hours
Terrible to walk, many people, nothing interesting for my taste.
It is part of the Madrid translation, but it is stormed by us tourists. Definitely worth spending some time
So crouded..but if you search a lot you may find treasures
Great market full of clothes and crafts and a whole variety of things for sale at reasonable prices. will take a couple of hours to walk around. Well worth a visit.
I truly feel like I care here on an off day (morning mid week)... but this was full of strange every day items that were not oddities nor interesting. It was full of terribly cheap clothing and used old shoes (outside of one random rack of old furs). I d just check recent reviews and times before going. Hoping my experience was a fluke.
Magnificent still being August always full of people. !!!!!!! WONDERFUL!
Good place to spend Sundays in the morning. Pleasant and varied atmosphere and even groups of Swing live. Curiosities at a good price
You can not go to Madrid and not go through the trail, located in the Latin neighborhood is a very peculiar place full of antique stalls, objects of yesteryear that will transfer you to your forgotten childhood, to the house of your grandparents or great grandparents. ..
On the other hand several stalls of second-hand and vintage clothes, if you like collectibles here you can find everything, it is also an area where you find many coffee shops and very traditional bars where you can take refuge and take strength to continue enjoying, since the 3 hours no one takes them from you, yes .. Be very careful and take your wallet, backpack etc in good order, there are many people taken advantage of
Magic, art, and lots of light (positive attitude) a luxury to always come here
Incredible trail in Madrid. A tremendous amount of old objects, clothes and many other people that may make the experience a bit overwhelming
There is no Rastro at the Mercadito del Rastro at this time, for obvious reasons, which made me feel strange.
The place where you can find bunch of interesting things
For everything you want and are looking for, you can find it in the FLEA. BEST FOR Strolling on Sunday morning and if you ARE LOOKING FOR BOOKS EL CAMPILLO Saturdays and Sundays. New and old BOOKS you find them safe
Unfortunately this Sunday it was closed due to COVID. On Sunday morning it is usually full of people and has a lot of charm.
It is a pity. There are no stands on the street because of the Covid, they were also mobilizing for their transfer of location
The market is held every Sunday. You can look, there is almost everything, mainly clothes. Rather, there is nothing to buy. It is worth going to the antique part. El Rastro is located in a beautiful district of Madrid, full of charming pubs, but the market itself is nothing special
Maginifco place to get lost and pause in the madness that is Madrid itself. Back to the past. Back to memories. There is also a market!
What can you not find here?! From old to new...The biggest Sunday market in the middle of Madrid. Nice to be there if you have to find something, but also to walk and look around for fun!
Festive atmosphere, great variety of items and prices, encourages to continue the party
Very pleasant walk through GALERIAS PIQUER, Shops of the most interesting and varied styles of everything for the decoration of houses! Great people who serve with a lot of education and without overwhelming you. Buy several things and delighted!
Who does not see El rastro and its market will not enjoy the real madrid
A magnificent place, an essential walk in Madrid and there is absolutely everything, a feast for the eyes and unique pieces. Every Sunday.
This market is enormous - it seems to occupy most of the old town. There is a huge variety of things for sale; tools, jewelry, clothes, fixtures, books. I bought a pair of artisan earrings, tools for my studio and vintage drawer pulls. Be certain to explore.
You can miss an entire Sunday morning and I do not think you can go through it all. You have everything besides being located in the heart of Madrid a few steps from the barrel of the Latin where you can have some More
