First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Easy checked in and out, comfortable rooms, worth the visit, only wished that they open more for the indoor games and outdoor should have open as they claimed before

I had experience in this hotel at tower 1 , Room 11630 for 2 night stay and I realised that the toile bow is damaged and unable to flash after called the maintenance to fix the issue & it happen again ! However there re no water heater during taking the shower with no reason maybe damage maybe the close down the power ! Housekeeping staff is unhelpful when I asked them something they will tell u to do your self. I will not call this a 3star hotel as my experience this is 1 Star standard (standards Room) !!

This is a poor hotel standard but we got to pay a 4 Star Singapore hotel price !! ! !

( not recommended for family s or couple trip unless you just wanna gamble without and concerning of hotel stay )

The manager with name tag LYO at the front office is so so rude and is badly representing the hotel brand, did not declare that we have to pay extra charges for early check in. Complaint is not welcomed! Not recommend to stay with this hotel brand!

Its a shopping complex located in high mountain. Very cool environment. A lot of famous brand. Latest design n nice price. 7000 feet from sea level. Also have many restaurant.

Nothing free in here except for toilet & surau.
You have to pay RM2/hour (during weekdays) & RM3/hour (during weekends & public holidays) eventhough you are hotel guests everywhare in Genting Highland.
Shopping above RM500 (during weekdays) & RM800 (during weekends/PH) in max 2receipts, you can get free parking for only 2hours.

Great hotel, went there for a hoilday with my family to Genting. The hotel was very big and easy to get lost in, so I advice you to hold on securitly to your children. They have nice cafes their. Their cupcakes are delicious too! I hope you can open the bakery a little earlier and hire a few more staffs and you are quite understaffed. Still recommend to all!

Good service of accommodation at Genting. Now day, it's totally a new environment for shopping and stay.

The only thing good about this hotel is its location and view but for the rate we pay the room is equivalent to a budget hotel with basic need no long mirror or dresser with the smallest bathroom and what is with the three in one soap ....very disappointing as I brougt.friends from UK n they too thought it was overpriced

Requested for room near the lift as my aged parents are not able to walk far distance. Paud for the request, but was given room at Tower Two instead of Tower One which is even further away from the casino. Charged $15 for counter service, charge $5 for request. Paid $20 for request that was not met!

just like other hotel, nothing much different, in fact, less facilities provided compare to others.

For the price offered, fits the standard of the rooms. Level of customer service is appaulling : went for a full meal at one of the many restaurants. Needed to fill water for my baby - no such thing.

Convenient with the self check in and check out kiosk. Clean rooms with affordable price. Would be great if they could renovate and renew the place

Early check-in can only be done after 9am. Arrived there early so can sit back while waiting. Crowded as always. Didn't get the chance to play the indoor theme park. Weather was nice during my visit. Would definitely come back for another holiday escape.

It is one of the biggest hotel complexes in the world. Located in the hill station in Genting , Malaysia very close to the cable car station. The rooms are moderately sized and economically designed. Comparing to the rush of tourists visiting Genting hill station, there is huge waiting for vacant rooms . One can get accomodation only by advance booking. The Check in at 11 am and check out at 3 pm are automatic using cards. A very large mall is also attached to hotel in which the famous snow world, casino, innumerable rides, cluster of food courts with versatile continental and native items etc. One can even manage without getting a room since they have provided wide waiting room as well as luggage room. Both the mall and hotel are live throught. It is always cold and air conditioning is not a must.

As compared to other hotels in Genting, First World offers a good location. It connects to First World Plaza and SkyAvenue. That said, we were assigned a room at Tower 3, which was quite a walk to SkyAvenue. (I was with my elderly parents.) Even though we paid RM5 to pick a non-smoking floor, the toilet had a very strong cigarette smell. The automated check-in process via machines increases efficiency for the hotel but removes the human touch from the hotel experience. There are over 7,000 rooms at First World. My opinion is that the hotel emphasizes quantity over quality. It is able to attract many guests due to its competitive rates.

Since Genting RW is in service industry, hospitality of worker should be upgraded. I have seen many old people visit here, the Facilities need to improve to old people friendly.

The lifts needs to be up graded. Too slow! and the sign board in the hotel does not show the proper way

Easily access to Casino. Room quality is getting worst nowadays.

It is a pretty decent hotel for the worth of the money, but i have some complaints to declare, which are :
1.the room smells kind of funky because of the water solution that they use to mop
2.the bed is kind of dirty because i get a lot of itches everytime i wake up from sleep.
3.the fan is kind of old and very noisy
But overall the temperature is very cold so air con is not really necessary, and the air is very clean, it was the first time that i wasn't having a stuffy nose!, Would kind of reccomend!

I stil perfer Resort/ maxim that why i had one night stay only during my last visit.

You might wanna keep your eyes on the signboard very carefully so that you won't miss the hotel parking.

The self check in is cool. Very convenient. But make sure you go straight to the self check in machines right in front of the check in counters, cus checking in at the counters would cost you extra RM15.

The hotel is soooo close to the attractions and the mall; literally just a walk up the escalator away. However, as much as the status of the world's largest hotel that they hold, the room is reasonably small and simple.

Well.. but again, if you're here to just chill in the room, you're most probably in the wrong place tho!

When I was given deluxe room: 1) It was horrible to me as a senior when I was arranged to a room far and deep from the lift. 2) It was disgusting when I smell the bed sheet not changed when I checked in. 3) my appetie turned off when I saw lots of rubbish outside the room window 'platform'....why can't I be granted a super deluxe room as a gold card holder?! most of the time the room cost me thousands of ringgit when I lose money in casino, and no satisfying rebates or rewards, how cruel....

I request to check in bedroom TOWER 3 but the officer register for me in bedroom TOWER 1. She said cannot climate changes of the room. Second, I m pregnant and walking quite far away into the room but I request for the nearest room. End up she arrange the room for me is two single bed room not queens bedroom that I mention before in counter. What kind of the customer services that they provide to me? They are not taking care for pregnant women and no manners as well! Please take note with this kind of staff.

Renovation going on at opposite of my room. It seems like your painter dislike the room door very very much. The door were keep open and let it slam on the door lash created a consistency bang sound

Strategic location with nice chill weather.Hotel don't even need aircond, natural cooling.

It's only a room to sleep. Rooms are generally small but the basic amenities are available such as fridge, kettle, hairdryer.

RMCO period - For those who drive, please be more alert as the carpark entering First World Hotel has been redesigned, the way entering and exit from carpark is very narrow so gotta be more careful.

Also, the inner car park sign is not clear particularly at B1. Just drive slow and beware any car could turn up at your front or back at anytime.

The visitors/ crowds are amazing. Casino is full (on my visit today/ Saturday) and it only allows Genting membership holder to enter with "Genting Membership Card".

Overall, Genting is coming back in decent form. This is still the best place for vacation in Malaysia i.e. everywhere is beautiful,, weather is good (means your mood will be good as well), varieties of food to meet your appetite, the Beer street on level 5 in first world plaza.

Above all, it is very safe to just walk on the street at night enjoying cold wind as the police/patrolling officers are at every corner.

Messy outside due to construction at this time still ongoing for the new block and outdoor theme park. New Sky Avenue is partly opened, trendy, upscale shopping and foot outlets. First timers can get lost due to the poor signboards and splitting roads, if miss a turn or repeat mistakes, may end up going round a few times which is a huge round if you missed the turn or entry. Wait till it completion, should be fun. Otherwise all fun and entertainments are in doors.

Very disappointed on the imaginatrick show ticket, I bought the package with the room but end up the seat is split two different place one place is EC220, another one place is FA119, what's funny place arrangement? i bring my kid for the show, he is just 7 year old, so isn't I have to split the place with my son? I ask the counter, counter say the ticket is fixed unable to do any changes, so asking back to your management side, isn't this is safe for the kid split with his mum to have a show? The show is so excited for the kid as is a good show but with this different seat with the hotel package us really bad arrangement, next time I won't be joining the similar package as is really lousy and horrible experience, your management team never consider the safety of the kid. If this ticket u bought it from Klook, maybe I still can accept the mistake I made, but I bought it from the genting app, really feel that so bad experience, how can I have another with my son in future. Hopefully you can improve the app for the any room package arrangement. even I not with my kid, if with my friend I also feel sad... cannot enjoy the show properly even money pay out. MAybe you thinks this is the cheaper package, so the consumer have to accept whatever your arrangement but this is not the right way for the business. I would share this experience with my friends to be aware of this kind promotion package especially for the family trip, too dangerous to split the kids and parent, if we are not afford to buy the new ticket, then will make the kids disappointed. Cheapest hotel in Genting. Apparently this hotel is the biggest hotel in the whole world in term of the number of rooms they have. If you're here for gambling then you should choose this hotel as it's very cheap. However if you are here for holiday with your family I suggest you should pay more for a better hotel. Eg. Resort hotel, theme park hotel or Maxim. If you're lucky you might even get a room with a great view. If you're unlucky like me, you'll get a room without a view. Room is very small. Remember to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste if you decide to stay here. If you need additional towel you'll need to request and pay a fee for it.

The room is just excellent but one of your staff has a very poor communication skills. I think that one is the supervisor. So please please and please, fix it! But overall, perfect. Please one more thing, i want bigger tv
