First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

The hotels are comfortable enough but the Ria apartment is terrible. With spoilt lift. The cleaning system is terrible. I booked the specify unit and expect it to be cleaned within an hour but instead the cleaners cleans other units first enen though no other people booked at the Theme Park counter. There is no system. They should clean according to first come first serve system. I have waited 2 hours ++ and still waiting. Can anyone just lecture them what to do? Lembab betul. Buat ikut giliran lah.

Clean and comfort. Parking is an serious problem during super peak seasons.

I visit the hotel last two years its was really very good hotel location are very good food was very good with some many varieties i hope to visit again

Checking in took 3 hrs due to unable to use
Check in kiosk although booked online paid through AGODA . Checking in system is very poor.We requested connecting room,but given seperate room instead.The worst part is the toilet which is too small and narrow.It must be design by a stupid designer and a stupid engineer.I suggest that the name First World Hotel is changed or reconstruct it according to the Name.

Dirty rooms old hotel no amenities awful towels and no temperature control in rooms...this hotel is loud and crowded. It needs a massive face lift.

When there are too many rooms... The walk from the lift lobby to the room is unacceptable. Makes the room feel so inaccessible.

Surcharge rm5 for theme park view rooms.. Thats a first

The whether is cool and the Christmas decorations reminds me of Christmas is around the corner, the best thing is I had a little winnings in the casino

Have food poisoning after having dinner nasi lemak at Mdm Kwan. Room noisy sound of running water. Ask for slipper but informed not provided. Not really cheap room rate. We paid RM160 for a night stay.

A place for you to rest and take shower. I like it because I got free room most of the time.

The age of this Plaza is starting to show. This place is more suitable for family visiting (with children under 16 I.M.O). There's nothing much to say about this place

Tried the Y5T room type this time. Overall is good. The room is clean. Y5 room type series can consider is a new type of hotel room in first world hotel. As a Malaysian, I can use the self check-in machine located at the lobby area (I saw a passport reader in the machine, maybe can use it for foreigner) . If you plan to do a early check in, you may need to pay for extra so usually I will check in after 3pm and check-out before 11am. If you come before 3pm or plan stay longer after 11am (checkout day) then you may keep your luggage in baggage storage provided by the hotel for free.

The outdoor themepark is still under renovation. Please plan your trip, otherwise you'll end up strolling around the mall for the whole trip and plays at indoor theme park only

Very big hotel, up in the hill, nice scenario, nice breeze if you stand in the road. To visit the place early morning is the best time. One important thing to remember, being in the highland google map doesn't work well. If you need to go somewhere don't take direction from the map, ask people to go there it's far easy. Map will take you to some other places where there is only road and highway

The room amenities was terible, no kettle provide. If want u need call the service room and need pay rm50 as deposit..

Top property in Genting Highlands, wonderful surrounding with mountains and forest, huge casino, many restaurants of different types and choice of food for visitors, several types of games for kids, water theme park and much much more for fun, You can approach easily by road and by cable car which is also a other fantastic experience, recommend to visit with family.

Busy, busy, busy...filled with patrons there for fun at the indoor theme park, food at more than 80 restaurants and stalls, loads of retail outlets and trying their luck at the casino. There are a number of really good fine dining restaurants too.

It's just a big hotel with nothing in it, people here often just come for the casino, the rooms are somewhat expensive and there's nothing much to do here.

As always best landmark for many activities.
Very big mall behind and also cable car spots. Kids play indoor. Much more . Must go place if you have chance.

Like the fast and furious self check in and self check out. But some of the rooms were haunted as in the night can hear noises. Satisfactory. Easy check in and check out. Fast and furious.check in time at 3pm. early check in pay RM5. Room is big and room and towel are clean. Drinking hot water available outside the room. hot water shower is very hot and difficult to adjust. Free to air channels and vision 4 movies are available. Car parking is free. Food wise is very expensive. Tower 3 is newly opened. No Wifi available and hotel charge RM15 per day. Just head to Mcdonald as there is free wifi. THere is a new food court just opened at level 2B. But we tasted the food at Taiwan Little Chef and found that the food were salty and oily.

I had 2 night stay in tower 3 level 6 Y5 room and the smell of paint is horrible. I think the room is newly repainted but continuously smelling paint for 2 nights is just terrible. Overall the room is fine and the bed is soft with complimentary wifi...but tv is blur, electronic safe is out of batteries and not working.

This is very good hotel now has been upgrades, you can use the apps to check in and enter to the rooms with bar code. Enjoy the weekend with good weather.

The hotel may be crowded especially during the weekends & public holidays.

This place is just suitable for gambler or soul exchange!

Small room with no view from the window. However the hotel is located right next to a shopping mall.

Large hotel with a lot of guests. However service was still reasonably good.

The bus service stop at this hotel. Shorter distance to walk. May food mall around

An amazing countdown events .. missing the finale (fireworks due to misty weather) if not it would be super spectacular nite bringing the new year 2020....

If you book a first world hotel with tower 2, is too far to get to sky avenue and many tourist at every time, need to queue up a long time to check in!

It's a de-stressed holiday for me. No work or house chores. Can sleep till u feel Recharged.

Nice hotel and many place for kids to play and casinos for the adults.

Not as pleasant as always when I visit. Express check-in was denied because of renewal passport, and service staff on site should have directed me to Customer Service counter to update so that I can Express check-in, instead ask me to queue for 3 hours at check-in reception.
Zouk drink vouchers wrongly issued and took a lot of my explanation to rectify your problem, Farhana was helpful but not the girl next to her at the reception on 16/12/19 night.
Poor timing to respond to my request on the use of vouchers.

I was so excited to visit this hotel as it is the largest hotel in the world. So accordingly I had huge expectations about the service and comfort. But it was a huge shock for me when I actually went there.
*There was a huge line at the reception without any proper management and so had to spend more than an hour to check-in.
*Secondly the hotel didn't provide any service for luggage transfer from the lobby to the room.
*Thirdly there was no free wifi available in the hotel.
*There was no water in the room and so we had to go outside the room and bring water ourselves from the common water tank.
*Lastly the rooms were so small and congested.

At last, I would just say- totally disappointed.

The bedsheets are not clean, with dark spots on it. There is no place to hang clothes in the shower room. It is cold to change outside.

Should have more staff at counter especially during peak hours to assist guests during check in. Like myself, i can't do checkin at kiosk at need to queue at the counter. Only 4 staff working and the waiting is like 1.5 hrs. Understand that the checkin kiosk were plenty but it can solve aome issuea and need people to assit.

Checkout was superb. Room is clean but towel is too small and thin. Should provide laundry plastic in the room.

Had a nightmare. Room 4936 have paranormal activity that i had experience.

Hotel and location both are good. A must visit place, i.e. zenting.
