Beautiful property. Stayed in the most gorgeous room for the night of an event our company was having on property. It is amazing at Christmas! Very classy, upscale, lots of things to do. Quiet rooms! Hope our company books this venue again next year!
All was great. The spa and fitness center was fantastic. The room was "okay". The room accommodations did not match the experience.

Sunset View room was an impeccable suite. Bourban steakhouse was superb. The grounds and all the pools were very nice. Outdoor bars and in-room breakfast also great. Service was amazing all around- especially from the bellhops. They really try and cater to your every need.

I would NEVER EVER recommend this hotel to anyone! I have been waiting for a hotel stay credit for 3 MONTHS. Given the pandemic we are in, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but today's call was Totally Outrageous!! To say she had to go back 3 months to make I called to and cancelled, when our Company was looking out for their employees by enforcing a travel ban, is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE given the challenging times we are in......I am just blown away by this....I give it a "0" rating!
Facility is nice overall but I had never seen such a stupid thermostat. There is a motion detector that shuts down ac after 3-4 hours of no movement. So in the middle of the night it gets too hot to sleep. Have to get up to turn ac back on. Same with leaving room for a few hours. Come back and it is too hot. Not acceptable at these prices

Over rated unless you get a room. Hotel guest get priority in all the lines so if your not a guest you're going to wait forever.
We ate at the Hacieda. We had 1 appetizer, a child's plate, a bowl of soup (it was actually a cup of cold soup) one entree and a glass of wine. It was over a hundred dollars and not worth finishing any of it.
I knew we would spend money, that's not the issue, i love to treat myself and my daughter. I like to feel like I get my money's worth.
A beautiful place for families, business conference, or just to get away.
What else would you expect. Excellent service, impeccable food and great weather.
We were here for a business meeting and then walked around the Phx Open. Great day. Hotel was beautiful. Great accommodations, servers were friendly and attentive. Great place to start and end a day.
Horrible experience. My parents and their friends have stayed all over the world and go there every year for Xmas. They checked them into a dirty suite and had absolutely no care in trying to fix the situation. Spreading the word that Fairmont hotels obviously do not do well with customer service so sticking with my Marriott s and Starwood s.
Simply a terrible hotel and not worthy of the Fairmont hotel brand. Filthy rooms and a mouse ran out of the kitchen at the restaurant. WOW please shut this place down.
They are under construction so a little less to offer but they were very accommodating to my family and we all had a blast!!
The Christmas decor and fun Christmas-related activities such as making s'mores, sledding an riding a train were extremely fun and great for a date.
We reserved the junior suite thinking it would provide us with a more luxury experience. Not only the room was so dated, the carpet was very filthy that you should wear slippers or those surgical booties. My kids were walking around bare feet and their feet turned black after a few minutes as if they have not cleaned the carpet for decades! In addition, the AC and the toilet kept making noise all day long!
Another issue was the pools, especially the ones that are more shallow, they did not seem very clean at all. Water was very muddy. We also called in advance to ask about the zip line, Instead of being honest about it and tell us it was taken down, they said they have different seasonal activities throughout the year. We asked one of the driver when we got there, they told us it was taken down 2-3 years ago. If we had known that, we would not have stayed there because there are many other resorts to choose from.
Overall, what you see on their site or videos online are much better than the reality. Very disappointed!

Dated "famous resort." No problems with cleanliness. Service/friendliness good. Note your checkout invoice: extra fees for portage, housekeeping, self parking! Long distance from rooms to conference space. Restaurant:. $22 hamburger??? (But it was good.) OK if you are on an expense account -- as many guests are.)
I went there to visit fireworks with my friends on the fourth of July and everyone was so nice and they gave us directions to exactly where we needed to go

Had to deliver some supplies but found the resort overall a place I wanna visit when I'm not delivering supplies!
We enjoyed the resort overall and the Christmas events were great for kiddos. Restaurants and service were good, but quite spendy as you would expect for Scottsdale. The negatives are that it took about fifteen minutes to even get to the valets when we first arrived and we then waited over 20 minutes in line to get to the check in agent. Noticed wet carpet between the bathroom and halfway (unknown source and smelled musty) the next morning even though we never really spent time in the room. Would probably have given it 3.5 stars if possible.
Never have I experienced an experience with a more experienced staff. Not joking. The attention to detail and the emphasis on customer experience are unparalleled at the Fairmont Princess. ALL THE AMENATIES ON SITE! Can't beat the weather in Scottsdale Nov thru Mar. Awesome trails for running or biking near by. Not to mention world class golf.
Had a disappointing and frustrating experience here- they messed up our reservation and it took four months to get our money back... it was their mistake and no one even apologized for our trouble.
Thoroughly ripped off. While the lights and Christmas decor are something to see, you can do it for free. The VIP wristbands are complete waste of time. A hundred bucks a person. This dinky little ice rink and waiting in the lines actually longer than regular admission or Disneyland. You choose.
The grounds are well kept, staff was amazing. Spa was fabulous!
The resort is very nice!
Although the cleaning staff must have been using a vinegar cleaning spray because it lingered throughout the entire room after theyd come in. Also pay attention to the robes and towels as we went through more stained dirty towels than clean. When noticing the robe was stained and dirty, we put it on the floor with the towels to be replaced yet the maid service just picked it up and re-hung it.
Other than the little tedious things as that, its a very nice place. Great pools, spa is very nice, restaurants are delicious
We did not stay the night, just came for an event. Beautiful hotel, though.
We aren't staying at the Fairmont but walked over to explore. The resort grounds are well manicured, attractive, and unstuffy with beautiful water features everywhere. We spotted some colorful rosy-cheeked lovebirds in their palm trees. We stopped in a cute gift shop/bistro and made plans to return the following evening to visit one of their restaurants for cocktails.
This resort has EVERYTHING! Christmas is a great time to visit. Lots of festivities and events going on. Need a spa day? They got it! Desire fine dining? Yep. Don't look any further. Great location! If you MUST leave the resort... it's minutes from shopping, food, and fun!

We were with the PKH group, so most of my opinion would have to do with their program. However, the hotel is lovely and the staff is BEYOND lovely. So pleasant and helpful.
We enjoyed two days there in August, 2017. Our first time staying there. We did have a rude receptionist when checking in but otherwise the entire staff were very professional and caring. The valet staff were exceptional. Eric took us to our room and he was five star in our opinion. We did voice our concern to the concierge regarding the front desk person. We had reservations for The Bourbon Steak House. Not happy at all. Noisy, felt like you were eating in a cafeteria. Decor was much that way too. Very expensive which we knew but the food was not up to the expense. The wagyu steak had no taste. We've had wagyu other places and delicious. So it was about their food and not about wagyu in general. The grounds were very nice and accommodating as well as our room.
Beautiful place. Was with a friend who went to get a pedicure at the salon. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
I went with my family to see their Christmas display. Had a great time. We went on the train as well as enjoyed the play area with the rides and the ice slide. The Christmas Lights were amazing.
I had a lovely massage here and could use the pool all day. It is called pricey but worth it.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! It is our favorite resort in town. We actually attended the Christmas lights fest they do there! It was bigger and bigger than it used to be! It was amazing! Tube sledding, train rides, smore stations and more!!! Love it!

I was there for days for a conference. The room was lovely and spacious. Had all the amenities I wanted, from ironing board to complimentary overnight shoe shine. Truly a very relaxing space. Staff was consistently amazing. Great! restaurants on site.
Read the fine print. They charged me $751 for two nights.

Beautiful grounds and accommodations, they have several pools and a lake area, every thing is really well kept and luxurious. It's quite expensive but can be worth it if you enjoy having really top notch resort like settings. The pool areas are great for kids and they have a water slide in one of the pool areas. Beautiful fountains and nice bar areas. If you go look for Cecil the large tortoise on site!
Did stay there, but my wife and I used the spa one day and got massages. Very relaxing atmosphere and everyone was very courteous and professional.

My husband and I where exited about treating ourselves on Christmas Day and attend the Christmas Brunch the Resort Offers at $95 a person. At arrival we where rushed to our seats and where we sat for about 15 with no explanation of how the set up works. We then where given a run down of whereeach restaurant was serving the food after we had asked our server. The food was good although we have had better they was not much of an selection as far as the "Main" dish goes. We left somewhat pleased not blown away but also not completely disappointed. It was our first time attending the Christmas brunch with the hopes of making it a tradition. My husband and I agreed that we would skip on that tradition. The next day following I find that the Faimont Scottsdale Princess decided to charge my account upwards of $40 more than what we had signed for and in which have a reciept for as well. I am strongly disappointed in this establishment and will not be visiting the resort in the future for any reason. I have taken time out of my Holiday weekend and have reached out to the Resort to have this error addressed and taken care of, and I was asked to call back on Monday. I also have had to call my bank institute to have the transaction disputed. Save you time and money and spend it else where.
Great hospitality, but food took forever to be replenished, people are hungry, speed up the pork oderves etc. Other then that great experience. Will defiantly refer out of town family when they are here visiting.
My wife got a 40% off deal and wanted me to have a nice Father s Day. We went swimming the last two days but they are way over capacity in the pools. If you want Covid 19 come on down .

A beautiful resort with staff dedicated to ensuring a wonderful time. I was there for work, but will definitely be back for fun. The restaurants offered delicious food served by fun and friendly people. The coffee shop willingly worked with my diet and made delicious recommendations and drinks.

Absolutely an amazing stay. The facility is beautiful and all the staff is extremely friendly. We stayed and ate at the hotel for 5 days and had all great experiences and every meal was amazing.
I didn't stay at the hotel but I did go for the Christmas event and it was beautiful. The grounds and the lights here were like nothing I've seen before.

We try to go every year to the Christmas at the Princess lights event and its better each year. The nativity garden was also incredibly well done.
