For an airport of age-old metro, this is one of the poorest airports ever. The seating capacity is less. There is a severe shortage of information display boards or LEDs. The public facilities are below average.

Yeah it's a big airport. But Starbucks is much needed

The architecture is impressive this time. It's huge inside. This terminal can manage a large number of people. It's neat & clean, not so confusing, you probably don't have to walk so much to reach your specific gate. Food court is good, but not great, is really expensive. Cheap food is available outside the airport. Doesn't remains much crowded. An open bar is available inside.

More flights, better facilities. As the lockdown is being lifted step by step, one can easily find more stores open at the terminal. Layover isn't a problem now.

When I first reached the airport I'm totally impressed. The airport is quite big and specially I like the interior of that it's look stunning from outside and the veiw is amazing. As an international airport it's has everything there are enough restaurant and waiting louge for various airlines. The airport staff are also very friendly and cooperative and also it is 5th biggest airport in India

Worst airport in India. There are some railway station has better aminities than this airport

Kolkata Airport. New terminal is very nice. Well structured, nice staff.

Though Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International airport is not spacious when compared to Delhi, Chennai & Mumbai airport, it is compact and maintained cleanly. The OLA & Uber Taxi services charge reasonably and very helpful for passengers to proceed to/from the Airport. The snack/coffee charges inside the Airport is reasonable. Toilets inside the Airport is well cleaned. Check-in is quicker. Likewise Bag collection from Belts does n't take much time.

While traveling to PB, I have connected flight from Calcutta, while 4hr layover time, I was roaming around and found that they have running market nearby.
Mostly airport is away from cities but CCU is in heart' of city.
Holiday Inn is just away from your thinking if you are looking for a stay nearby airport.

Huge space and they have food lobbying for foody person with lots of variety with regional price.

Rest all facilities are present as usual.

The newly renovated airport goods great. The bengali inscription written on the ceilings are unique.

Nice, quite airport. Have enough space and stores to eat or do shopping. Enough space to chill time while waiting for flight or roam around. Airport staff are helpful and i always love inside airport CCD service. One advise to start early to catch flight due to hectic traffic.

Good experience at Netaji Subhash Chandra International Airport. Nice atmosphere and modern facilities are found every where.

Probably the worst maintain airport, unhygienic toilets for employees. Service roads are in bad condition. Drainage system are as bad as practically possible.

Beauty this place is. AC here is very intense. Food court is present where you'll find all varieties of food including south food.

Decent infrastructure, recently upgraded their baggage scan system. Needs work in the crowd management and planning department.
Most of the airline staff are helpful but on every occasion I found few of the airport staff to be rude, dismissive and outright dishonest.
The arrival gate of the airport is full of scamsters, all of the taxies will overcharge for rides, bus services do not run late into the night (9.00pm) and the airport itself does not have proper marking that one could follow to the nearest bus stop. In my recommendation exercise extreme caution while arriving at the airport, if possible pre-book your taxi or use an app-cab (it will still overcharge you but less than those yellow cabs). Departure is smoother after 11.00am (mornings are super crowded).

If you are travelling between gate 14-16 be prepared for a chained door to the gates. There are over 50 passengers waiting for this door to be unlocked as well as Air India staff who can t get the door opened. This is unexpected from an international airport.

Airport of Kolkata. Well maintained and designed. The gate numbers are not well directed but there will be no problem with it. The boarding gates are well organised.

The airport was so nice,neat and clean and peaceful and big.Officers are helpful and doing their job properly.***But after getting down from the flight you ll find money exchange like they are calling money exchange.Those guys are fraud big fraud don t exchange money from them.They we re giving 1$=63 inr.Outside you ll get easily 1$=72inr.I have exchanges from them and got cheated.I have exchanged on 7th January 2019.*** SO DONT EXCHANGE FROM THEM.

Its main airport of Bengal. Gateway to east. You can shop bengali specialities. Travel club is a good lounge. But bathrooms are not clean. Need imorovment. Security and immigration clearance takes time. It has locker facility. But not connectrd to town by a good transportation.

Exterior decor specially Bangla font embossing is looking different & the hole atmos is nise.

It is one of the best airports in India.It is an international airport.The airport area is well decorated and spacious.Staffs are well behaved and humble.Neat and clean wash room.Shopping complex is awesome.The airport is one of the busiest airports.Anybody can taste the traditional bengali sweets from the sweet shops.Traditional bengali dishes are also available from the food court.Food cost is little bit high.Security checking is also easy.

Modern international airport with lots of facilities

Security guys were having very toxic behavior..
Totally not suitable for kids in bag checkpoint..

The most unhygienic airport I have ever visited. The roof of the airport is leaking for many days during raining and somebody kept the luggage tray below to collect the rainwater leaking. The funniest thing is that many passengers are throwing garbage like aftereats in to that and the sitting area became messy. No-one bothered to clean. Went to use the restroom and surprised to see the sensors are not working for any water taps. People were throwing tissues everywhere and I came out at the same speed. And you can see the cats running around the waiting area close to the boarding gates.

One of the biggest airports of India. Clean and hygienic. Good service. Staffs are well behaved

If u have connecting flight don't panick ...the ground staff are ready to help you.
All over an awesome experience

The new construction is really good as compared to the earlier one but lot more to improve.

Clean, maintained social distancing and also sanitation was top notch.

Clean, well-planned and spacious airport. The boarding gates are not located far away from the security checkpoint, so there's no need to walk excessively. Departure waiting area has ample of shops and food outlets so passengers won't get bored. Security staff is courteous.
Moreover, it is a very convenient airport for transit passengers because the domestic and international gates are near to each other, thus saving time for transit.

The airport staff and waiting passengers, a few of them in the waiting lounge were either not wearing masks or keeping their face partly covered with no mask over nose. It was Scarry

My first flight travel fro Chennai to Kolkata awesome experience and excitement.

Airport has a free wi fi zone, washrooms are well maintained only service needs to be more faster I.e. the check-in process
