While traveling to PB, I have connected flight from Calcutta, while 4hr layover time, I was roaming around and found that they have running market nearby.
Mostly airport is away from cities but CCU is in heart' of city.
Holiday Inn is just away from your thinking if you are looking for a stay nearby airport.

Huge space and they have food lobbying for foody person with lots of variety with regional price.

Rest all facilities are present as usual.
