International Airport and gateway to the eastern part of India..... Covid protocols are being followed very nicely....

1. Designed, developed and built well . Constructed like any modern international airport .

2. Has metal Rivets on floor to help visually challenged people (not seen in many airports). Good gesture !! Highly appreciated .

3. The male /gents toilet is pretty bad . Also have to blame the type of crowd that majoritarily comes in . Not very well managed. But the management has done good work taking care of this airport .

Very unclean toilet compared to Delhi, Amritsar, Bengaluru and Chennai airport. As I said earlier even the crowd is to be blamed . Pan marks on the wall , commode is dirty and not fully clean. Even inside toilet compartment it doesn't look very good

4. Many flights get delayed on regular basis (may be due heavy fog in Kolkata during winter) . So if you have another flight after landing there, plan with sufficient time gap /interval

5. The airport space can be made even more well use of and stress needs to be put on people to maintain cleanliness . Can be made far cleaner by educating ppl on cleanliness.

6. Good and large infra .

7. Taxi stand is not well organized out of airport and frequent crowding and disarray outside

8. Have resting room/lounge with Rs 700 plus GST for dormitory and Rs 1500 plus GST = Rs 1680 for family room .

9. Well decorated keeping in mind the local, national cultural symbols

10. This has the potential to become another Changi Airport if thought on those lines and planned on those ways .

Lovely place for waiting for the flight with family & friends. Nobody will feel bored sitting here. Nice & Convenient.

A good international airport in the region. The terminal is having big space for mamuvering the passengers. But the hygenic condition is found lacking international standard. The cleanliness of washrooms lack standard.

Excellent airport, you can go by taxi, uber ola or private one or very comfortable AC39 bus going every 30 minutes from Howharh.

Kolkata airport is one of the finest airport according to me and i would always prefer this one even for traveling abroad ,it has all the facilities and much good arrangements for the passagers are available here.

The airport is good but do not have place to straighten your back for sometime. As well as the road taking us to airport is not good

Netaji Chandra Bose International Airport is one of the very clean airport I found in India. I never feel any problem on airport. Staffs are very friendly. Price of the foods are not very expensive. Food quality is very good in reasonable price. I recommended to take a Cappuccino Coffee. Test of the coffee was very good

My favorite airport. I like it very much. Clean, tidy and well maintained. Very much helpful for Passengers. I have memories of first flight from this airport. I loved everything except price for tea, coffee and snacks. But the most exciting thing is to watch so many people from various countries of the world, various communities.

The best airport in Kolkata,West Bengal with improved facilities than older airport. Very clean and fresh looking. Security is also good comparing to the older one. But one minor problem is Baggage claiming, sometimes it takes too much time.

As a new one I believe it will be one of the prior destination to reach the Eastern zone of India.

Some handy tips to keep in mind:
1. Ground floor is Arrivals
2. 1st floor is Departure
3. In front of Gate 3A/B Arrivals is the OLA stop
4. You'll need to travel approx. 1km to reach nearest bus stop. You need to get outside from gate 10 side for that. Buses are really cheap.

Natural, calm and beautiful place to visit once for sure...

The view from the outside is quite spectacular. The plan is to build a flyover to get in from the crowded roads.

Although i have huge love and respect for this city but the airport doesn't match the domestic as well as international standards. The toilets are so clumsy. The conveyer belt is so dirty. The lights are so lazy. It looks more like a hospital lobby rather than an airport. I hope the official should take some examples from other airports.

We are Calcuttans. We love our airport. Things need to be upgraded though.

Very huge airport. Tightly secured for safety of both the passengers and that area. Well maintained shops and waiting areas. Only the thing before boarding face some problem in getting seats to sit. Wash rooms too maintained well. Display boards are also clearly visible. So a new person can get the correct details.

Such a beautiful and well maintained airport. You will.get the things quickly sorted out but for eateries you have to struggle out to find them.

Govt.'s PREPAID taxi booth is also present outside the airport.
Enter the airport n get the Bags scanned from counter of the airlines that you are travelling with & then proceed to bash drop counter.

Good airport accessible to cars, parking fee is applicable in minute basis, the staffs here are helpful,more hygiene and cleanliness is required

The airport is located a bit far from the city centre. But the airport is well connected with public transportation. Airport metro is yet to be started. With airport lines commuting to and fro the airport will be really fast.
Apart from that, the inside decoration of the airport is great, specially the roof facade. It really expresses a lot about the locality. The airport is not very big, so is a bit crowded all the times.

Visited CCU several times for going Coimbatore, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Guwahati, Lilawari but didn't took inside photos as it is dangerous for security reasons. Last time came from Chennai and took the out side photos of CCU. Airport is well decorated and designed to took care of a passenge's full care.

Accomodation and security procedures is high alerted. Kolkata, this city hold it's position.

One of the best airports in Asia that I've visited so far. Very modern with complete set of amenities-ample charging stations, seats, and food/shop choices. Facilities are maintained properly. Staff and security could be more warm and friendly; they get a bit intimidating sometimes. Overall, I had a nice experience. Immigration was a breeze and finding gates was easy.

Its very nice and big International Airport. Great food choice is available after Security Check. Ample trolleys are available.

Its is a real shame the passenger treatment received as you are not allowed inside the airport until 3h before departure and you are confined at a small space without basic facilities (toilets) in Gate 3C. The security guards seem emotionless.The WiFi is very poor.

Dirty, untidy, very poor facilities even during this challenging time. What a shame to the airport authority and govt of WB.

Huge airport took 40 minutes by Car from Salt Lake to drop point. Security check was fast and safe.

One of the most beautiful, biggest n busiest airport of India. Its net n clean n well mentioned. Nice picturesque, great sample of architecture n a very good space inside.

i hv visited first time here to fly for imphal.

It's good but not have many outlets lyk bombay,delhi, airport has however people are good ...main city hub Esplanade 18kms away.. JW MARRIOTT /ITC SONAR BANGLA both amazing five star hotels 17kms away ...HYAAT REGENCY in the same route 12kms away....there are so many sculptures in the 1st floor or arrivals inside the airport...

Large, cleaner new terminal with adequate seats. Smoking room included in new terminal. Baggage arrival on a slower side still.

AC Bus service to city can be availed 8am-9pm from the stand just on t right side of arrival gate 1A.

Huge airport! Departure and baggage area is well planned. I checked out in around 20 min. Outside there are marked area for bus and taxis.
If you're visiting Kolkata for the first time you've to deal with huge traffic jams. My bus took more than 2 hrs to reach Howrah station from airport.

The airport seems to be a little dated compared to the other metropolitan city airports in the country...
