One of the best airports in india with good facilities

This is the best airport I have ever been. There's enough space in the terminal area and it never felt crowded. There are duty free shops both at departure as well as arrival of international terminal. The airport is very well connected with Howrah railway station. There's shuttle bus service charging Rs.50 for the same running 24x7. Earlier there was no bus connectivity during late night. But now there are shuttle bus services running for the whole night after 1 hr. interval.
Facilities available- 1. Connectivity with Howrah Railway station 24x7. 2.Intercity bus will drop at Gate no.1or3 from there you can walk up to the airport terminal. 3. Lounges at both domestic and international terminal. 4. Clean washroom. 5.Duty free shop at both arrival and departure area of international flights. 6.Parking available on chargeable basis.

Every airport is guaranteed to be good from inside but this one I feel lacked cleanliness. Plus just outside the airport s domestic arrival gate, not even 100 metres, there are local stalls selling tea and cigarettes. Seemed quite strange to me.

Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose airport is an international airport is well maintained and spacious. The lounge is very neat. It is connected to all major cities in India. Several eateries are available in the airport. Duty free goods selling shops available. Like other airports, the security is tight. Various transport facilities are available, right from cycle rickshaw to taxi. The bus stop is just outside of the airport.

Nice clean airport. Services are good. improved . Large in size,great facilities, clean interiors.

After the renovation of the airport, it has increased visitors and passengers alike. Well maintained and one of the best salons in Kolkata are near by in City Centre 2 Mall. Toni & Guy is a great place to get a quick haircut in or out from the airport.

Amazing infrastructure.. Also have proper hygiene controlling system . Well decorated .such a amazing place.

I think its one of the dirtiest airports in India! Dirty seats (pics for reference), dirty washrooms and ugly customer support. Also it is so so passenger unfriendly. A frequent traveler like me struggle at times to get proper information.

Nice place. But need to be extra careful during covid time. As nobody is maintaining sovial distancing properly. And please install Arogya setu app in your mobile to enter the airport.

It is a very good airport. This airport is one of the best among all airport in India. It s a huge airport and decoration is also outstanding. Moreover its service is also good. But during rainy season, it is a risky place. Monsoon storm can hit and can change your flight into nightmare.

Look at China airports ...huge...they build infrastructure looking at the future growth...
Look across world developed countries have good roads... The cleanliness....

One of the oldest airport in the country but appearance, facilities and amenities all remain far below expectations. It goes back to say that kolkata airport which is a very important gateway to north east of India needs more connectivity and development. When you land or take off from kolkata airport (domestic or international) you feel third world! This airport needs massive upscaling as does number of flights in the city!

One of the wrost airport in india... There was no mobile charging points.. Most of the points are not working, they are using table or tower fan ..ac is not working... Bus depo is best than airport....plz improve the facilities.....

Everything is good but the airport security guards must learn some manner to speak.

I have travelled via this airport for long amount of time. This airport has basically two floors and its view from inside is great. the airport has aero-bridge facility. i have travelled to Jaipur, New Delhi & Agartala from this airport. mostly the passengers are made to travel from the ground floor by the bus services. there is kfc, whsmith, and various other mnc retail outlets. There is also a sweet shop in this airport. Free wifi is also available from tata, jio, airtel and vodafone. there is travellators, elevators in this airport.

Neat and clean, organised and well maintained airport. Well connected to the different parts of the city through different modes of communications viz. taxi, ac buses, app cabs etc. Only thing it lacks is some shops and stores as those are there in Delhi.

Worst Airport sorry to say for the city where I am born & brought up, dirty washrooms, callase security & people were wearing mask on their chins, some needed to be reminded time & again, no checks. Even Cafe & shops are useless..

So I had a layover at this Lovely Airport for a span of 30min.I didn't get into the airport,but just shifted the flights.Such an awesome airport to be at.Connecting almost all parts of South East Asia with India.I visited this airport when it was pouring cats and dogs.But the airport staff were working efficiently irrespective of the weather conditions.Very Organised and we'll maintained Airport.I would be definitely bakc next time to this airport.

Truly an international airport. Very clean interior, food court, clean toilets, very modern seating arrangements. Staff need to be more helpful, luggage bay areas are far away at arrivals. Like to visit again and again.

MAINLY THERE ARE SO MANY DOMESTIC ROUTES ARE AVAILABLE FROM HERE. THERE ARE ARROND 4/5 INDIAN AIRLINES OPERATE FROM THIS AIRPORT. FOR BANGLADESH NATIONALITY PEOPLE THIS AIRPORT IS VERY MUCH IMPORTANT. EVERYDAY SO MANY FLIGHTS OPERATE FROM AND TO DHAKA AND CHITTAGONG.

It's not the best airport with latest technologies incorporated but still this airport has some warm vibe. AND I don't think there's any other international airport that can offer tea for 5 bucks and meal within 100 in walkable distance.

It's a very good airport but in ground floor bathroom is not at all maintained they should clean that bathroom first . WiFi is little bit slow food options are very good staffs are friendly attitude.nice airport.

The airport is amazingly beautiful!! I have been here once but I was impressed by the interiors, customer service and the variety of different shops and eateries there.

Everythings fine but the only thing which moved me was that the aquarium opposite to gate number 23 departures in which the fishes are dying one of them has already died because of lack of care, whether the water changing mechanism of the aquarium has failed or they are not provided with proper food either take them away or take care properly such a thing is so inhuman. I would request the concerned authorities to take over this matter thank you.

I had been to Kolkata well before the present airport was built and when this one opened, it was a wow experience. Every time I fly in there now, I still get that wow feeling.

Modern and extremely busy - but then Kolkata is one of the largest Cities in India, actually the third largest so this airport was a must. Well maintained with lots of stores in both domestic and international departures.

The airport experience was good enough, although taxi service could be very challenging at times for their behaviour and attitude.
