The high ceiling and the openness of the terminal makes it one among the least claustrophobic airports. And the calligraphy on the ceiling is captivating.

Not to good its corona time its seems honted place

Situated in north kolkata. Taxi,ola,uber,bus all available from airport. Upper level is for departure and lower level for arrival. Prepaid taxi also available. Flights to almost all domestic destinations and few international destinations available. Its a big airport and also expanding.food stalls and food courts also available both outside and inside.

I like the idea of collecting used PPE kit, face shield and mask at the entrance. It's a nice initiative to reduce plastic waste outside the airport. Post lockdown travel experience.

Nice one but could be more better if the authority takes concern upon the safety and cleanliness around the port.

Airport is not so bustling. No lounge due to corona times. There is a dormitory for borading. Only 700/- per person. Overall okok

The airport has improved a little. Came to Kolkata after 1.5 yrs and it was nostalgic to see the various Bengal related artifacts displayed on the airport.

Domestic and International Departures are stay in same line and same floor.
For Domestic Flight you should use gate no 1,2,3 A or B and for International flight you should use gate no 4 onwards.

One of the best airports that India had so far. Easy to locate the exits, check in counters, security check etc. Large waiting area, food courts & lounges. Toilets are well placed also

Nicely arranged a big airport. One can get his cab or car just after stepping out from lounge. AC bus services also available with in 50 mtrs.

This airport is very neat and clean bas well organised but eating outlet is very expensive. Overall ball airport is good and security is not too tight. Casual security is there anyone can pass entrance. Security should be improve. Staff of this airport is very friendly and approachable.

Good infrastructure but not comparable to the big international airport terminals of New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, etc.

Not so busy as the only metropolitan city airport in East India is supposed to be. Not a lot of options to spend time before departure. Though lots of seating space available, but some more shops should come up. Food joints and eateries are ok, but it would have better if there had been more options. Washrooms are not so clean, security staffs not that competent, ATMs don't work, long queues every time for prepaid taxis as all the counters don't work. Overall, needs a lot of improvement in terms of passenger friendliness.

One of the best and busiest airport of India.Very well maintained and well organized. Recent renovation has given it a more gorgeous look.It is well connected with the Howrah junction as well as other parts of the city.Immigration and security checking is well organized.

Beautiful infrastructure, neat and clean domestic, international both are good.
After renovating this airport became more beautiful and handled about 15 million passengers.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport has a very long and large runway. Security checking is admirable here. Internal decoration is also maintained with International standard. Foreigners are also happy with the standard.

The airport is large with a lot of boarding gates. The bathroom and other facilities are clean too. However, it is not as modernized as Delhi Airport but far better than most of the smaller airports.

Its one of the best airports in the India. But be little early before your flight as it might take little time in security check because of crowd and long queues. Rest maintenance and service is simply superb. It is very easy to navigate through the airport. There are people everywhere to help you with. Also the transportation facility is great to and fro city.

I am sharing the experience for the international terminal.
Pros : Not so much rush. People are freindly and can find necessary things/places easily.
Easily reachable from any part of the city.

Cons :
Metro service not yet available to reach airport.
Baggage transfer to carasol takes way longer time than any other airport. It took more than an hour to get my baggage still half of the people were standing there to get their luggage.
Washrooms can be more cleaner.

Kolkata is a place where every day minimum 5 accidents happen in an hour time, mostly leaving people either dead or disabled... However, Kolkata airport do not have facilities which can help disabled people travel. Staff or even CISF deployed there is of no use because do not understand disablity. Wheelchairs are not comfy to transfer... And cabin crew is given a wheelchair which can be used for toddlers... So an adult disabled is almost on ground level to be lifted. Pathetic service...

Good airport with all required facilities and helping staffs

I visited the airport almost after a year. It was sad to see the the usual hustle & bustle missing. Many unused aircrafts parked on the tarmac. I hope and pray that covid is brought under control and normalcy returns.

Best Airport in India, you can get Rs 20/- coffee as well as Rs 100/- coffee it caters to all pockets unlike other airports in India which assumes all to be super rich. Also the car parking Facility is so close to Arrival thats a delight. Parking charge is also pocket friendly unlike Delhi Airport. Over all Best Airport in India

This international airport is one of the important and busiest airports in Asia. Infrastructure is world-class. Cleanliness of this airport is amazing.

Clean and pleasant experience. Getting a uber or taxi is sometimes a hassle as you get mugged by brokers.

Its huge inside artitecture is impressive. Service is good. But food is to expensive and much chipper on out side.
