One of the oldest airport in the country but appearance, facilities and amenities all remain far below expectations. It goes back to say that kolkata airport which is a very important gateway to north east of India needs more connectivity and development. When you land or take off from kolkata airport (domestic or international) you feel third world! This airport needs massive upscaling as does number of flights in the city!
