I had been to Kolkata well before the present airport was built and when this one opened, it was a wow experience. Every time I fly in there now, I still get that wow feeling.

Modern and extremely busy - but then Kolkata is one of the largest Cities in India, actually the third largest so this airport was a must. Well maintained with lots of stores in both domestic and international departures.
